Dr. Scott Evan Eder

I scheduled my appointment well in advanced to do a particular exam. When the doctor feels that (for whatever reason) he does not want to see a patient, obviously, the appointment should be cancelled before the patient arrives to the office (especially during the Covid 19 pandemic). Instead of cancelling, his assistance called me a day before to confirm my appointment. I had to go into their three story building, ride the elevator with other people, open doors and so on. All that just to find out that my test is cancelled.

Dr Eder has been my gynecologist for 27 years. He also delivered both my children but now focuses on gynecology and women's health and wellness. There is no one I trust more and he has gone above and beyond for me in more than one situation throughout my years with him. He is a brilliant doctor who has traveled to underserved countries to provide care at various times during his career. When you see him, you see only him...not some oversized practice where everything is impersonal.

After having only 1 visit as a new patient I will not be going back nor would recommend. I am a breast cancer survivor and he didn't even preform a breast exam on my healthy side, never checked lymph nodes either. I also had to call several times for my results. STAY AWAY! He was more concerned with complaining that 3 patients hadn't shown up for their appointments that day.

Dr. Eder saved my life. He knew, from only hearing my symptoms, that I could possibly have a serious condition. Once I heard that I ran! Dr Eder personally phoned me to tell me he could not put away my chart until he knew I had been examined, even if it wasn't by him. That is how concerned he was. I was so touched by his caring that I made the appointment. Well, he was correct with his thinking. A rare cancer I did indeed have, but I am still here, alive & healthy, thanks to DR. SCOTT EDER!!
