Frankly, I was nervous to see this guy because of all the negative reviews, but my experience was good. Dr Corin was friendly, took time with me and explained things well.

I was so disappointed upon meeting and being examined by Dr. Corin. He is very uncaring, rude and unsympathetic to his patient's needs. He acts like he's doing you a favor to even be in the office to see you. He barely spent any time with me and I will never be going back to him. I've read the other reviews on different sites and everything negative they say about him is absolutely true. This man obviously has a lot of issues that he needs to seek help for. It is totally unacceptable to behave in the manner he does. Individuals go into medicine to make life better for people with medical problems. He just wants to show off for people and be called doctor, to support his superiority complex, so they see how smart he is and how much in demand he is. He should have gone into research because he's no good at clinical practice.

I went in to have my child's eyes examined after being referred by another doctor. I have never met such a rude and uncaring individual. He talked down to us at every opportunity and acted like he is an authority on every subject. He misdiagnosed my son's condition, so I thank God I got another opinion and the correct treatment. Also, he doesn't understand , you don't have to be a super good doctor to have the patient respect and like you, you just have to act nice to the patient and be a decent human being -- which he is NOT! He is extremely cold and has absolutely no people skills!

If you have small children I would absolutely NOT bring your child to see him. The reception team is friendly thats about it. The first assistant tried dilating my daughters eyes she was super nice, patient tried keepmy daughter calm! The second one was NOT. Let me start by saying my daughter is 5 this was her first appointment, she was scared and did not like the drops being put in her eyes. She cried ALOT and the 2nd nurse got frustrated you could tell by her face. We waited 1.5 hr for the dialtion... the nurse checked her only to say she's not dialated because she was crying. She wanted to add more drops my daughter cried more because her eyes were blurry and she was scared! I tried to help calm her but that made it worse. Another nurse walked by and offered to help hold her down. Not going to happen your scaring her more thats no way to go about making her comfortable! The more she cried the more the drops washed away the more frustrated they got. I told them your absolutely not holding her down SHE'S 5 you're scaring her this is torture. The doctor came in tried to apologized but said it was necessary to have the drops Blah. Blah yes I know there needed but there are better ways then holding a child down to the point of her screaming like theres no tomorrow. The doctor proceeded to say how "dark eyes" are harder to dilate & take longer which maybe true.. But...he decided to add that if she was blue/ green eyed Irish it would've been faster. SERIOUSLY? Inappropriate. Fast forward her left eye is weaker than the right and suggested an eye patch on the good eye to help the bad... somehow after suggesting that he thought telling us a story about Nigeria when they sew babies eyelids closed to teach eye sight was supposed to help her? She's already scared it didn't help it made it worse! I was frustrated I'm not sure if he could tell or even cared. All in all this was about 2.5 hours total we were there and she left never wanting to go back because she was too afraid. This was a horrible experience for her. We ordered glasses and left. I don't think we'll be attending that 3 month check up with him!

I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere, especially for your children. I brought my son in when he was 6 months old after his pediatrician agreed with me that there was something off with his gaze. Dr. Corin hastily "examined" him and told me he was fine, all while treating me in the rudest, most condescending manner. My son was a little bit fussy and needed to eat while we were there (he was an infant at the time, so this was an expected thing to occur). Dr. Corin made a completely unwarranted and inappropriate comment regarding my son being bottle fed vs. breast fed, telling me that was the reason he was fussy was because he wasn't getting his sucking reflex relieved. We were there for an eye exam...if I wanted to see a lactation consultant, I would have made an appointment with one. All that aside, the reason you should not see this doctor is because he completely missed a CRUCIAL diagnosis. I got a second opinion from a pediatric ophthalmologist from Boston Children's, who, upon examining my son, discovered that he has a retinal disease that can become progressive, and requires annual exams and treatment. My son is extremely near sighted in his affected eye, and requires corrective lenses. Once he got his glasses, he was like a different child. I'm thankful I sought out that second opinion. I recommend you save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere for pediatric ophthalmology care. I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere, especially for your children. Extremely rude, inconvenienced and rushed. I went to him because I was told he was knowledgeable. Wrong. My questions weren't answered and he was extremely condescending. I will never go back.

Went in with my daughter's appointment because I had a appointment the next day wanted to meet him because she mentioned that he has a bad bedside manner! Boy was she right he is extremely rude and speaks to you like he is purposely down grating you. He thinks he is a know it all but I have news for him being a doctor also requires decent respect for your patience. Definitely canceled immediately! Dr Corin is..... socially inept, quite busy, can be abrupt. But he is an EXCELLENT M.D. Came to my husbands aid and saved his eye when no one else would answer. He really is very nice and smart.

Dr. Corin is abrupt and very condescending! I will not be going back to him. The way he speaks to his patients is unacceptable. Also my grandmother had eye surgery done by Dr. Corin and she could feel the needle in her eye as Dr. Corin was stitching it close!!! That is totally unacceptable. Sorry but something needs to be about his manners and how he treats his patients.

Rude rude rude I’ve NEVER see anything like this. This is an educated man who is a DOCTOR none the less. And he specializes in child eye health?! HOW?! The way he talk to a CHILD and an adult parent is absurd; really like a nightmare. You won’t believe it unless you make an appointment. So many parents have said the exact same thing. His bedside manner is not only nonexistent, but it’s the extreme opposite of manners at all!!!!!! If there’s a term for “trashy professional” - it’d suit him. Kind of sad, actually.

Miss diagnosed lymphoma , unnecessary surgery, and ignored my request to please focus on the lump in my eye. Treated me like a child. Barely spent 5 minutes with me during each appointment. Cancelled surgery the night before..I had already taken the time off, then requested I come in early for the rescheduled surgery. Seemed to rush through the surgery.. I am now dealing with cancer that should have been dealt with a year ago. Now this cancer has spread to the rest of my body. Staff at the desk are all rude. Dr. Corin is very condescending, speaks to me like a child and speaks to my small children even worse. Our last visit he said something along the lines of tying them up like dogs. If the wait wasn't 90+ minutes for 4 minutes of his time, then maybe my boys wouldn't be so bouncy and/or cranky. Actively seeking another pediatric ophthalmologist. But boy oh boy does he have it made being in such high demand. He should be ashamed of his behavior, including the cranky women at the desk. Doctor speak with a military tone to everyone including toddlers. Not my cup of tea, my son has autism so his tone was just intimidating and not well received. This suppose to be children friendly. I left solely for his poor attitude and awareness of the effect his attitude had on my son and eye. I didnt feel safe.
