I have now been in to see Dr. Scott Clayhold and his team for two different surgeries. Both times, they have been extremely welcoming and friendly. They always provide me with any information I need for before/after surgery to either come well equipped and prepared or to leave the same way. Not only have they done an excellent job on the surgery's themselves, which has made my recovery time and comfort outstanding, but Dr. Clayhold and his team have personally reached out throughout my recovery process to check in on pain, comfort, healing, etc. Overall, my experience has been fantastic and they are on the top of my list if I am ever to need oral surgery again.

From the moment I walked into the office, Dr CLAYHOLD's staff was amazing . My options were clearly explained to me. They were so kind, friendly and compassionate. I volunteer at the senior center and many of them have commented on my beautiful smile. I sure feel better about me! And, the best part is I never have to hear " you need to do a root canal again..sorry, it didn't work..we have to pull the tooth.. cuz the root canal failed..." you need a new bridge..for this reason... My initial visit was excellent! The entire staff was friendly and went out of their way to ensure my comfort. I appreciate that Dr. Clayhold spent time to review imaging with me, explaining best options for care. I feel that the doctor had my best interest in mind (sometimes medical practices are performed for $$ rather than health). I felt prepared for my first surgical appointment and knew exactly what to expect. Following surgery, Dr. Clayhold personally contacted me to ensure that my recovery was optimum. Dr. Clayhold is the most unethical Doctor I have ever encountered. After surgery we had complications. Called multiple time and he refused to see her. Then went on vacation and left no doctor on call. We were told to find our own. We were also asked to pay up front for services not covered by insurance. I was having excruciating pain in one of my molars. Dr Clayhold removed my dead/dying tooth and ultimately replaced it with an implant. Dr Clayhold explained everything to me in great detail and I felt very comfortable with his office. I am extremely happy with my implant. Dr. Scott Clayhold is friendly and does good work. Ive had 2 major tooth replacements over 9 years. Dr. Clayhold is a very busy man so expect to be dealing a lot with his assistants. Be weary of his assistant Sable because she can be sloppy and rough. I had to come in for repair work because the polymer plug in the latest tooth replacement wasn’t put in properly the first time. It became a nightmare when the new receptionist botched my appointment date too. I came in from another city only to find out despite my confirmation email I in-fact did NOT have an appointment. I had to reschedule and it took several weeks to get the repair. Its best if you take really good care of your own teeth so you don’t have to spend a lot of money, time, and pain trying to fix what you could have prevented. Dr Clayhold completed a full mouth of extractions and then implants for my Mom about 10 years ago. He did such an amazing job on the dental front and patient care side. He's very detail oriented, precise, and overall simply amazing at his craft. My Mother (petrified of anything dental) was comforted and even content throughout her process. Nice place was on a hill in Issaquah the doctor was very Energetic, Positive, very welcoming help me to feel good about what he was going to accomplish with my teeth. It was a little too costly though and I wish that was shared with me early on. I really wish I could do this procedure but with Covid and raising a grandson it just will not be possible right now.His assistance we’re very warm and welcoming. I'm updating my review. My son recently had a bad skateboarding accident, dislocating and breaking his jaw in five places. We immediately called Dr. Clayhold. He got us right in and took extremely high definition (but also extremely low radiation) scans to create the best possible treatment plan. While this was significantly more complex procedure than our previous wisdom teeth extractions, once again Dr. Clayhold did an outstanding job. The jaw surgery went extremely well and my son's recovery is going better than expected. Dr. Clayhold patiently answered all of our preop and postop questions and we came away from each appointment very encouraged and grateful for such excellent medical care. Previous review: I rarely write reviews and only make exceptions if our overall experience was exceptionally good (or exceptionally bad.) This was one of those rare, exceptionally good experiences. This was my second child to visit Dr. Clayhold, this time during COVID, and once again we a GREAT experience. My son's wisdom teeth were impacted and had to be removed, so Dr. Clayhold fit us into his busy schedule right away. The waiting room was warm and inviting.
