Dr. Sayed S Khatami

I am currently overweight. Gained a lot of weight quickly due to a side effect of a drug. I have struggled with various eating disorders. My issue I went for had absolutely nothing to do with my weight. At the end, he gives me a pamphlet on a weight-loss balloon method and says I may benefit from the medical procedure. If I had asked for help, even mentioned my weight, or if it was somewhat correlated to the issue then okay, I guess—but it was unprompted. Just wanted to slide in there to be like “Oh hey, you’re fat & we’d love your money on this procedure.” I’m not that overweight. Also, this was a side effect of a drug and I’m working on taking it off. Worst bedside manner. Triggered me severely. Please, please do not see this man. Also, I didn’t even feel like he was truly listening to my issue I actually came for. Maybe he was just blinded by wanting more money from me for that balloon procedure.

I had my Colonoscopy done With Dr Khatami. Like any male I hated the idea and the procedure, but Dr Khatami and his staff made it so easy. Great doctor and great staff.

Very good doctor. Probably the best I've ever visited. He is how every doctor should be. He is straight to the point and explains all procedures well. Nice guy who seems to really care about his patients and what he does.

The staff at the endoscopy center were terrific as well as Dr. Khatami. Everything was explained well and done efficiently. It is a very well run facility that I will suggest to anyone!

Dr Khatami helped me out with some serious pain. I would certainly recommend him to all I know

He was very nice explain everything. Left you feeling you were in good hands.

He is friendly, open, precise, objective, answers questions and explains thoroughly before and after procedures. Exactly what a doctor should be.

I met Dr Khatami late 2017 through an online search. He is a very honest and knowledgeable in his field of practice. I highly recommend Dr Khatami to anyone who is looking to find a well qualified doctor who would listen to his patients to provide proper care as needed. Thank you Dr Khatami.

Amazing doctor. Spends so much time with you and diagnosis very well. Very knowledgeable and caring. I’ve been to many gastros and he has been the best out of all of them. There new office in mentor is amazing and so clean and organized. Scheduling is very easy. I highly recommend this doctor.

He didn't seem to interested in what I had to say. The Willoughby office was run down and dirty looking, the nurse that day had no personality and wouldn't even smile. The Mentor office was clean but, staff were unprofessional, and unfriendly on the day of my procedure, the one nurse acted like it was her first day and wasn't sure what to do. Another nurse said he was tired of working with idiots. For weeks, I've been fighting to get a rx, no one has answers, the staff seems clueless. Still no

Not only he has a great sense of humor he is also very experienced. Anytime I had symptoms that worried me, he manages to listen to you carefully to have an accurate diagnosis. It is truly fun to see Dr khatami and his high energy level always makes you feel healthy!!! He always care and love his patients. He always calls me back quickly if I have a question about my lab work and his explanations are very clear.

I have seen Dr. Khatami since 2009 and I can tell that He is a truly exceptional doctor. Very caring doctor. She speaks in terms that you can easily understand. He is very easy to talk to and take time with his patients to ensure they understand what their health needs are. One of the kinds that its definitely not easy to find. He really cares about his patients and is highly experienced. Once you are in his hand there is no need to worry about anything.

Very rude. Very curt and short, acted like he wanted to leave the moment he entered the exam room. Did not listen, did not ask many questions, VERY disappointed in this doctor.
