Dr. Savitri Sundaram

I’ve been with Dr S for 7 or 8 years now. I’m satisfied with her and she has prescribed helpful meds for me. She recently picked up on a new disorder diagnosis after getting to know me for several years; not being aware of my symptoms. The new medication is great. She’s not a therapist but I feel she spends a reasonable amount of time talking and evaluating. I’ve never waited much over 10-15 min. Office staff alway is cold ;not welcoming . A newer assistant is an improvement.

As another review mentions, it is not a warm inviting atmosphere. However, that being said, Dr. Sundaram was excellent at determining the correct medications I should be on, and that is what she is supposed to do. Would highly recommend her for prescribing the meds which are the right ones for you.

Incomprehensibly bad. From the unfriendly and belligerent office staff, to the ~15 minute session with er -- really just an excuse for her to prescribe meds and meet the minimum insurance requirements -- this doctor is a blight on the profession. Routinely late for appointments, unapologetic. 19th century bookkeeping skills and most damning of all, provided zero help. My advice would be to look elsewhere.

She's been a hero. She helped me dial in my medication where several other doctors were over-prescribing me and prescribing the worst possible medication for me. She does not sugar coat or coddle her patients, as she's not a therapist. That said, she DOES listen and responds. She cares about her patients and I've been with her for 8 years now. Very happy with Dr. Sundaram and her office. They're fantastic.
