Horrible experience. Dr Roy is condescending, rude and dismissive of all of my concerns. He was in a hurry and the appointment was rushed. As a busy mom of 5, it took a lot for me to finally make an appointment for this long-standing issue. And he interrupted me multiple times, dismissing all of my concerns. I left with no plan of action, this was a complete waste of time.

We met Dr Roy 14 years ago. Our daughter was a PRS baby and Dr Roy performed 7 total surgeries on her over a number of years. He’s a hero in my book.

This entire office visit was a waste of time. Nobody in waiting room except us and we waited 45 minutes past of scheduled time. Dr. came in, 30 second appointment, rudely made us feel like we wasted HIS time. I'm so tired of the lack of manners by some of these offices; not just the doctors but the entire staff.

The office staff was friendly, but we had a far less than good experience with Dr. Roy. He might be some patients cup of tea, but he was not ours. The appointment was rushed, and he was arrogant and condescending. We’ll be seeking another ENT to meet our needs.

The front desk staff was alright. Matt the PA on the other hand was great!! He was so good with my baby! He addressed the issues I had & gave me the go for my son to get Tubes on the FIRST visit! I didn’t meet Dr. Roy until the day of the surgery. Had a feeling that he was mad about something because he seemed to be in a hurry, but wasn’t rude in general when he spoke to me about my sons procedure. With me being in the medical field, I already knew what to expect post op so I didn’t have too many questions. Nonetheless he was nice & spoke to me after letting me know that everything went good. Front staff was polite.On the other hand, DR.Roy did not address my symptoms or concerns. He appears to be on a hurry and make me feel if I was just one more number. Exam was minimal and in less than 5 min I was out of the office misdiagnosed. I feel upset and disappointed about the tx I received from Dr. Roy. We need to treat all patient with respect and give them the necessary time to explain their complains .Also, if you going to charge 99204 , you need to spend at least 45 min with the patient and do an appropriate physical examination. Horrible visit! Spend maybe three minutes with me. Bed side manor STUNK!! Waste of my time and obviously his time, but he got paid. I got nothing. Dont care how many awards he got! Lousy visit

Worst doctor experience. Did not start appointment close to on time, bad treatment, and then charged an absolute absurd amount of money which insurance only covered about half (has never happened before). Read these reviews and find another ENT, I wish I had done the same.

Doctor Roy seems to be in a rush (even though no one was in the waiting room when we arrived or left). Spent 2 minutes with my 90 year old mother and was very condescending. Went back 2 weeks later for a recheck and he spent 1 minute with her (not exaggerating) and she received the same treatment. I took my son to get his hearing checked at this office. I spent over 45 mins in the waiting room. We saw Dr Roy for 2 mins only to realize he doesn’t do hearing test and that it was someone else in his office...yet I was charged over $300 for a 2 min visit which he was 45 mins late to with Dr. Roy!!!! I left 3 voicemails for their billing office with no returned phone call. I’m beyond upset at this place and would highly recommend you go ANYWHERE ELSE! Awful terrible experience. A serious issue, for which we were initially referred, went unaddressed and undiscovered for almost 2 years. Had to beg (in tears) at one appointment to get them to even look closely at my medically complex daughters ears. I get rushed, condescended to, and insignificant. When calling to get information regarding and upcoming surgery, that I had to get my pediatrician to call and get scheduled because the scheduler never called me back, I was on hold for a combined hour, and was legitimately connected to 2 other PATIENTS who were on hold trying to schedule appointments rather than the surgery coordinator .... HIPPA violation much? I never leave these reviews, but I do not want another family to have to go through what we did here. Switched doctors and our issues were in once case immediately addressed (didn't need surgery yet), and a rampant fungal infection that should have been caught months earlier was found. The doctor ACTUALLY looked in her ears for longer than 2 seconds!!! Oh I also for got about they scheduled our audiology and the exam at 2 different locations... that was fun. Waited 40 minutes to be seen for 5. Dr Roy did not seem to care about our son’s condition at all and hurried us out of there. We were unable to really ask any questions we had, and he did not want to look at the videos we took of what was happening. He told us nothing could be done at his age and it was an “anxiety management appointment” as first time parents. Glad we took off work and wasted our money. Disappointed to be referred to him. Both my children are patients of Dr Roy for the past four years. He is amazingly talented, kind and energetic. Jacksonville is fortunate to have such an incredible Dr.

Dr. Roy did our daughters tubes in the fall. We loved our experience working with him and his team. We really trust him and his knowledge in the field.

I recently recieved consultation at ENT Specialists of North Florida. My appt was with Dr Roy,however, I never actually saw Dr Roy. I met with another gentleman whose name and title i didnt not get. The front office staff are incredibly rude but the medical staff are very caring and friendly

Dr. Roy didn't give my daughter a thorough examination which resulted in us having to find another doctor.

As a physician I don’t like to write bad reviews about other drs. So all I’m going to say is I don’t recommend this office, mainly because of the poor office management. I will not bring my son back.

If I could give this office a negative star rating I would. I was referred to this office for VNG Testing ONLY. When I arrived I handed over my VNG booklet filled out and provided the new patient paper work. After waiting 45 minutes and being taken to the back the nurse tells me that they scheduled me for a regular check, not a VNG test and next available appointment was in a month. As there was nothing they could do I had to get up and leave. Their staff is going to ruin this office. I've never had such a horrible experience at any doctor's office. We spent 20 minutes in the office with the total visit time from the doctor and nurse under 5 minutes. Our insurance was billed 1100 and they told the insurance company that our son had had surgery!!! I guess that's what they call it to look in his nose and say that blood vessels close to the surface bleed a lot. We cancelled the follow up appointment. When I was a child and I had dr Roy as my doctor is did awesome and he is the best

Dr. Roy was recommend for my daughter's otoplasty. He put her ease immediately. He explained the procedure in a way that she understood everything that was going to happen. Her procedure went fine. The results are amazing! No visible scars, very natural appearance. Dr. Fallucco told me that Dr. Roy is the best in Jacksonville for otoplasty and he is correct. I highly recommend any parent considering otoplasty to go see Dr. Roy. Dr. Roy was recommend for my daughter's otoplasty. He put her ease immediately. Wonderful surgeon! I had another ENT in town tell us we needed to remove our son's tonsils and adenoids but Dr. Roy was adament that only the adenoids needed to come out. So that's what we did and he has been so healthy ever since. Such a great experience!

He is the BEST ENT!!! He performed an Adenoidectomy to our almost 4 year old daughter, after the surgery she is feeling much MUCH BETTER! We are so blessed that we found Dr Roy to take care of our precious one !! All the workers are really helpful!

Dr. Roy did a bilateral myringotomy on my 17 month old son. He was a different baby within an hour. Everyone I encountered on his staff and at the surgery center was amazing. Thank you!

Dr Roy is excellent. He is very knowledgeable, and he spent much time (3 visits) to examine our 3 1/2yr old daughter and give his diagnosis and recommendation. He answered all of our questions in clear and understandable language. We have scheduled an adenoidectomy in the next few weeks and she does not need her tonsils removed. We will provide a post-operation review, but we are very satisfied with Dr Roy’s ability and straightforward manner. Post Op Review 01/09/2019 - incredible! Dr Roy finished the procedure in 10minutes. Our daughter was super and recovery was excellent. The only thing she complained about was the IV in her arm, but when they removed the needle it was as though she had experienced nothing! Our daughter has had no more persistent coughing and she sleeps very well at night. Thank you Dr Roy! You are “first class”. We highly recommend Dr Roy for any ENT requirements! He explained all the options for my son's constant ear infections, we decided together that ear tubs was the best route for us. My child suffered for 18 months with Nemours ENT. That refuse to operate until he gets better. And she couldn’t help him get better. After so many antibiotics and wrong diagnosis and everyday fever 103-105F I finally ask the PCP to recommend another ENT and we meet Dr. Roy our savior. In less than two months he diagnosed tested and operated on my boy. Since that day he hasn’t been sick finally breathe normally without any problems. God bless you Dr. Roy I am grateful for you and what you do.

Doctor recommended surgery for ear tube removal without even a hearing test and any other less invasive options first. Told me my fears were irrational and prescribed steroids and antibiotics for my son to prep for surgery when he had no illness or infection. 2nd opinion with hearing test determined surgery unnecessary. Irresponsible behavior led us to switch docs

Had paid a few visits for a Ringing Ear Issue but every visit was hasty as if he knew there's no cure or it was beyond his capabilities. If he knew from the start that he couldn't fix me, he should have had the courtesy to refer me to someone else. Instead he milked my wallet in three visits & then didn't even call up for a follow up the fourth time. It seems he knew he'd achieved his monetary target with me, so didn't bother to check if his patient was cured or sick. Sad to know such doctors exist who treat medicine as business & not a novel profession. They made me overpay for my son's surgery by almost $160. The surgery was March 20th. I have yet to receive my money back!!! Dr. Roy is great, but the office billing policy is ridiculous. I do not recommend them only because of this reason.

Very disappointing overall! Do not recommend this clinic to anybody. First of all: there was a very large amount of new patient paperwork to fill out. Doctor Roy was ok. He did my son's tubes procedure and everything went well. However I wasn't very impressed with his inter patient relationship. We seemed to be just another patient. In and Out. Pure business. The office billing policy was very ridiculous. They tell you one thing and later on, they charge you another. They charged for the post surgery appointment while this was already cover by what we have paid. I got in my mail boxes bill from 3 different places related to the surgery. Too many different bills. They did not find our pre payment. After surgery, the clinic supposed to send the ear drops prescription to the nearest pharmacy and they never did. After we complained, they finally sent it and the cost of the ear drops was about $250 to use for about 4 days. We complained about the price and they said we could by a different one that was $35. If you decide to go to this clinic get everything written down. Ask for detailed prices for all the procedures you have to pay for. They simple tell you it costs X and at the end you will get a F.... Dr. Roy is the best, couldn't disagree more with the previous review. My daughter had a pretty advanced hemangioma. Dr. Roy's approach, bed side manner and interactions with my daughter and our family was unmatched. We have referred several friends to him, all have come away with similar experiences.....positive. I have never been overcharged so I can not speak on that, but to the care he has personally given, again unmatched, especially in a time where we as parents were nervous. Accessible, knowledgable, caring, and provides great care,,, I will not go anywhere else when it comes to care for my daughter, very thankful we found Dr. Roy. Dr. Roy is awesome. He has not wasted any time getting both of our daughters the treatment they have needed. We have met with the audiologists at his office and they are phenomenal as well. I recommend Dr. Roy and his office to every parent who has a child with ENT issues.

After waiting for 1 hour, doctor told us that we have to see another doctor. Then, they charged us $ 300 for a visit. I called the Office three times to dispute, but nobody called back. Doctor did not bother trying to find out what was the cause of the condition. We were treated just like one of his inventory. This is the worst experience I have had. I would not recommend to anyone.

Just a mess. Rainbow pediatrics referred us here when our newborn son was having breathing problems. I have no idea why they sent us here instead of a pediatric ENT, but I digress. There was an unusually large amount of new patient paperwork, of which, very little of it was designed to be signed by the parent or guardian of the patient. I had to sign most of the paperwork as the "patient". Once we were seen, we didn't get a clear answer in what our son's problem was. The nurse practitioner said it sounded like laryngomalacia and that he'll grow out of it. Dr. Roy came in and told us that it was just newborn strider but he really thought it was just bad acid reflux. He prescribed baby Zantac to us and scheduled a follow up appointment a week later to see how he was doing. Well we go to our pediatrician a few days later and Dr. Roy's notes to the pediatrician said that he diagnosed my son with laryngomalacia and that he would need surgery to fix! It blew my mind because he only told us that he had acid reflux. He never once said our son had LM or would need surgery. Not only that, but his office sent the Zantac prescription to the wrong clinic so we told them to send it to the nearest pharmacy. They told us CVS near us because CVS accepts Tricare. After a couple of days, I called CVS to see what the hold up was. Turns out, they don't accept Tricare and Dr. Roy's office never sent them a call back phone number so they just never filled the prescription and we were never going to hear about it unless we called. We had CVS transfer the prescription to Walgreens and we finally received the medication 10 days after our appointment with Dr. Roy! Dr. Roy and his staff have shown kindness and good character each time we've been to his offices. Both of my children have had great results with his work. Highly recommend by our local pediatrician as well as his former colleagues I've spoken with at Nemours.

Dr. Roy recently operated on both of my twin boys- 17 months old and in need of ear tubes. One also needed to have his adenoids removed. I can't speak more highly of the level of care and attention we received from Dr. Roy and his staff. From all of our appointments taking place either on time or as soon as we got there (when early) to the level of attention and care we were given during each step of the process, I can honestly say that Dr. Roy surpassed my highest expectations.

My 10yr old son has a sunflower seed stuck in his throat so our PCP referred us to Dr. Roy. After an unsuccessful attempt to remove it we were sent home and told to have him gargle warm salty water. They refused to sedate him because "it's not that serious". He's 10 YEARS OLD! Was it that shocking he cried and gagged? It's been 24 hours since he's eaten due to the pain. $200 later we still? have no resolution. UNACCEPTABLE!

Rushed first visit and he was very quick to mention surgery. Second visit we waited over an hour and ten minutes. The day before surgery as I attempted to fill my child's prescription at the local drug store he didn't even take the time to fill in the amount on the prescript, so they wouldn't fill it. Walgreens and myself called the office number and we received a disconnect number. Once I got through the nurse tried to blame Walgereens and myself. I just couldn't trust this doctor
