Great office and cool bird photos

I actually liked Dr Cavanagh. The oddest thing happened and was actually preet f'ing rude. I called to reschedule my appointment because I had an emergency to deal with. Since they rarely answer the phone I had to leave a message. They callede back and we rescheduled. Them a week later I got a letter from her saying she wouldn't be my Dr anymore because I don't keepy appointments. No joke. This seems like I'm trolling but I'm really not. I'm still floored. 2 years ago I did actually miss an appointment because I had it in my calendar a week later. But they actually called me back this time to reschedule me then just said "peace out". Thank you, Dr. Cavanagh, for your expert advice on my daughter's acne. I appreciate your compassionate care and creative approaches to solving a common teenage angst. Because of your care she will have clear skin for decades to come and be as confident in her outward appearance as she is in her inner strength. You are appreciated!!

I don't normally write reviews, but feel i need to! Had cancer (Hodgkins Disease) about 30 yrs ago. Had my yearly apt. with my oncologist, and he found 2 spots on my back that looked suspicious. He referred me to a different derm. office (which i won't name) and a PA removed the 2 spots, but the path. report showed the margins weren't clear enough. So, had to schedule another apt. to have a larger portion removed. Got a call 2 days before that apt saying they didn't have a dr. that was working at that office anymore, and would have to go to their other office in kirkland-no thanks! So after some research, decided to go to Dr. Cavanagh. Was expecting to have to have bigger chunks carved out on my back, From the moment my wife and i walked in, the office staff was AMAZING-friendly and very receptive. I waited for about 5 min. before being taken back (can't remember the last time i have been to a dr or dentist where i wasn't sitting there for at least 20 min!). Saw Dr. Cavanagh and she explained what was going on with the path. report and what kind of skin cancer I had, and the best option to treat it. Way different than the previous office-she explained what she believed was the best option for me, and more importantly why (she only numbed me up and scraped off the surface layer of skin-no big chunks and stitches like the previous office). Such a huge blessing, and my wife, who is cautious and asks a ton of questions, was so impressed that she made an apt. to get some spots looked at as well. The whole staff is incredible here-Dr. Cavanagh has super "bedside manner" and is terrific. Can't say enough great things about them here! Removed a cyst from my face and cared greatly about my comfort and feelings. The whole staff is comforting and makes you feel less stressed about the situation. Recommended highly. Thanks for taking care of my wife and myself.

My entire family and I have had nothing but concierge care at Dr.Cavanaugh’s office. Dr. Cavanaugh is an excellent provider with a comfortable bedside manner and her staff is exceptional. The process of a visit is always very smooth and a pleasant experience, all things considered. She will always be our family Dermatologist.

Staff were pleasant and efficient. Dr. Cavanagh was friendly, thorough and respectful. I like that she is the only provider in the office. So glad I waited to get in with her. A much better experience than I had with my last dermatologist.

An amazing derm who is thoughtful and very accessible.

Dr Cavanagh (aka Dr Kramer) is just lovely. So kind, so compassionate, so professional. I will not trust my skin health to anyone else. Her staff are also lovely - I feel so supported here.

This review is not a reflection of the practicing Dermatologist(s) but of the front desk staff. I originally stopped in to purchase a cream for my mom, and thought of scheduling an appt for myself. However, the front desk staff were curt and borderline rude when I said "Hi, I don't have an appointment, I was just hoping to purchase a lotion" to which I was met with "Um, are you a client?" "No" "Then we can't sell it to you" ..."Can I register my name/phone number, and become one?" ..."I'm not sure. But the product you want is discontinued, you'll have to go online." Stared at me, then I said thanks anyway and left. It's a drugstore brand, so I wasn't sure why I couldn't purchase as a walk in customer. Either way, I won't be returning. Outstanding experience. Dr Cavanaugh was very thorough. She really listened, answered all questions thoroughly and was very pleasant. Left her office feeling very confident.

I can’t express enough how amazing Dr. Cavanaugh and her staff are. My 16 year old daughter recently had a knee surgery and had an allergic reaction that make her break out into a severe rash that was painful and itchy. Even her surgeon was baffled. We called Dr Cavanaugh and she was able to get her in to be seen on a short notice. It was so nice that they treated her like their own 16 year old who was in pain. Along with that single situation she has treated myself and my daughters for their acne and because of the success they feel way more confident in their appearance. Thank you so much!!!! Dr. Cavanagh is an outstanding provider, but what I really want to comment about is the staff. I have managed staff in medical settings my entire work career and yet I was completely impressed at the cheerful and caring interactions this team had with each patient. In particular, because we arrived early for our appointment, we had plenty of time to watch the performance of the front receptionist, Tina. Not only did she efficiently greet all the incoming patients, but she cheerfully handled one phone call after another. During these calls, she handled each interaction with grace providing helpful information and sincere concern regarding the patient’s needs. I know it is not easy to have to repeat the same information, over and over again to each patient and still sound as if you care. Often staff will sound scripted or uncaring after handling the same type of interaction or fielding the same questions. This was not the case with Tina. She was very impressive. In addition, each patient that entered the office was greeted with a warm smile and the interaction of a longtime friend. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed. I am very happy we found this dermatologist and her delightful team. The staff can make or break a practice and Dr. Cavanagh can rest assured, her staff is doing a fabulous job. Very difficult to schedule a new patient. Takes at least 6 months. My 12 yo daughter has a very serious toenail infection and the pediatrician called this office to arrange an earlier date to no avail. Staff seems this situation as normal saying that she is a great doctor, that's why it takes so long. As a retired health care provider, I know that quality health care, seeing clients in highest need, is part of what makes a good doctor. Also, when you get to see the doctor, it is so fast. We are not Medicaid, but are treated likewise. Going to Tacoma Or UW. Very difficult to schedule a new patient. Takes at least 6 months. My family has been seeing Dr Sasha for years. We love her and the office staff. I highly recommend her. She takes a conservative approach and always has her patience best interest in mind.

Dr. Cavanagh is a great Dr., she and her staff are always so pleasant and helpful. You can't go wrong here. I feel really fortunate to have her as my Doctor. Something is really off about that negative review that No Mo posted...it does not sound like my Dr. at all. I have to question the motive.

Doesn't return phone calls, emails or faxes. Not here to help people. They are looking for people who just want to do cosmetics surgerys. Look somewhere else!

Wonderful doc and staff!!!

I first visited Sasha in 2008 for a bump on my nose. That bump was diagnosed as schwanoma. She referred me to the UW for follow-up which led to the discovery of a brain tumor. After the brain tumor was treated, they found an aneurism in my brain which has been successfully treated. All this because of Sasha! I have come back every year since then for a full body skin check and each year she finds a few pre-cancerous spots that she treats. Just completed Moh's surgery for Basal Cell Carcinoma that Dr. Kramer discovered at my routine check. She was on top of it immediately and made certain I got the best treatment possible. She's a caring, conscientious physician and I'm so glad that I am her patient.

Dr. Kramer is the best. Such a caring and friendly doctor. She has helped me with alopecia and my cystic acne. I've recently moved to King County and refuse to find another dermatologist. Dr. Kramer is worth the 1.5 hour drive. Plus, her staff is awesome!

My son had just turned 14 when we were referred for his cystic acne. It was pretty severe and painful. Dr Kramer addressed all of our concerns about starting Accutane, she watched my son closely, seemed genuinely concerned with his improvement and not just how the acne was responding but how he was feeling about himself as the acne cleared. Her office is clean, the staff is warm and welcoming, appointments were easy to make, our insurance was handled well. My son is no longer in need of Accutane so won't be seeing Dr Kramer anymore. Dr. Kramer is an excellent provider all around. She's very knowledgeable about all of the realms of health and is very persistent in regards to helping her patients. The whole office has a great atmosphere and it is always a pleasure to see everyone in a great mood at my appointments!

Dr. Kramer is a talented and caring doctor. She's looked after both my mom (who had melanoma) and me. She does yearly skin exams on me. She knows her stuff and is a wonderful caring person

Dr. Kramer and her staff are the best! After being seen by two MDs and a PAC at the ER, I am glad for the emergency referral. There is a reason why there is a long new patient waiting list to see Dr. Kramer. So unless you break out in what is a possibly fatal "mystery" skin condition all over your body, make an appointment as soon as possible. I had regular light therapy treatments so I know how well Dr. Kramer and her staff treats all their patients. Linda know all things administrative so billing and insurance is straightforward and the medical staff are very knowledgeable. Above all, everybody will treat you with kindness and respect.
