Dr. Saryna Putman Young

Appointment felt rushed/she wasn't paying attention to me while I was speaking. Didn't try to explain things well or make sure that I understood what she was saying. Kept feeling like she was trying to get me to buy products at her office or get services done. She wouldn't explain to me what kind of products I needed, just that they carried them in their office and I could just buy them there.

My Husband and I were patients of Dr. Saryna Young when she was affiliated with WestMed. She opened her own practice and we are very disappointed with the unprofessional communication. We had full body checks, she suggusted I make another appointment for a laser treatment, NEVER mentioning this is NOT covered by insurance. I had the treatment, I received a HEFTY bill. This should have been discussed with the patient, prior to the treatment, that this service will NOT be covered by your insurance. It was NEVER discussed with me, Be careful!

Dr Young has been my dermatologist for more than 10 years. I was forced to try others when my insurance changed over the years and not one compared to Dr Young. She exemplary! Thorough with her exams. Patient. Very informative with with issues at hand! Recently had an appointment with her at her new location in Stamford and her entire staff was extremely welcoming. Crisp, clean, and calming atmosphere!

Had an attitude when she entered. I'd been a patient for several years and trusted her. She was annoyed that an assistant wasn't doing the procedure, even though she'd done it on me twice before, no problem. I had a number of issues on my face. The last one bled a lot and the assistant had to hold gauze on it for awhile; seemed a bit shocked too. When I got home, I discovered Dr. Young had pulled out a triangular patch of flesh when she decided to remove 2 comedos with one needle actioin, going through the walls of the pores and tearing it out, with effort. It took 2 years for the scar to disappear. She betrayed my trust and hurt me. I never went back.

Terrible! She couldn't have gotten out of the room fast enough. Didn't complete treatment. Was told to return in 3 months to finish. Will look for another doctor.
