Hey, Sarah Smith is better than Sutton to be sure. And Mr.Thompson is the best teacher ever!!!!
my son loves his school the teachers are polite and real well educated
It was my sons first day of kindergarten at Sarah smith today and he loved it ! He said the teachers , Mrs. Farmer , and Mrs. Osby are excellent and want the students to learn to their fullest potentials and behave good , they praised him today and he got two awards for good behavior , and he is making friends easily, unlike at garden hills where everyone was mean to my child. He said he loves it , Mr Fleming is nice, and it is very clean ! Thank you Sarah smith for being good to my son ! It was my sons first day of kindergarten at Sarah smith today and he loved it ! My kids and I love this school
#5TH grade best school ever
NOT ONLY is this school the best school, IT IS BETTER than ANY GOD DAMN ivy league university in the world. AMEN
My child was here for k-5 and loved it. The teachers were amazing and he is ahead of his 8th grade class. He really misses the nice school and kids. But he loves Sutton.
Sarah Smith is literally the BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST school ever!!!!!!! I am in 7th grade right now but I went there for K-5. The teachers were so nice and made learning fun and exciting! I did not look forward to school everyday but I mean who does? :) Sarah Smith made me want to go to school because it was always going to be a fun day and I knew what I was going to do. The music teacher, Mr.Thompson is the nicest teacher EVER!!! I like how they have two campus' because it really helps give the grades more room. They treated every kid with respect and disciplined the kids who really needed it, but it was never too bad. No one was mean and everyone was friends and no one was excluded from anything. The teachers made everyone have a great time and everyone was always leaving school with a smile. One time I wanted to stay and I got so mad when I had to wait til the next day to come back. I wanted to stay the night because I was having such a great time. I also liked how we didn't have to switch classes and teachers for each subject. Until when I was in 5th grade they added that you switch classes for math, but I liked that because I got to meet new people and new teachers. When I was leaving the school to go to the pool party on the last day of school for the 5th graders leaving Sarah Smith I was bawling my eyes out along with every single other 5th grader. It was so sad and I was so so so so so so so so saddddddddd. I never wanted to leave. It was the best 6 years of my life! I was always so happy and I loved that school with all my heart! SARAH SMITH IS THE BEST SCHOOL EVERRRRRR!!!!!!!!! Sarah Smith is literally the BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST school ever!!!!!!! I am in 7th grade right now but I went there for K-5. Mediocre school living off past glory. My child learnt nothing while there for a year. All he learned was to be scared of school as he said the teachers were 'not nice to him'. Thankfully we moved back home to London and he started school here. At his current school, he consistently wins awards and praises from his teachers. At Sarah Smith each day we picked him up, they had something negative to say about his behaviour. There was a day I volunteered to help make stuff for the school, I happened to walk past his class and saw that his teacher had given him a single desk facing the classroom door. He literally was sitting with his back to the rest of the class and his teachers, whilst facing all the distractions the busy hallway had to offer. I requested a meeting with the teacher and head teacher once I found out he'd actually being in that position for over two weeks. Now I'm not an expert, but this in my opinion was not the right way to deal with a child that "talks too much, doesn't sit criss cross applesauce, does not walk a straight line in the hallways". These were the crimes I was told he committed that got him this sitting position. Not that he hurts or attacks his friends or anything awfully distracting. The head teacher did the right thing during the meeting and agreed that banishing a child to the exit was exclusionary and child shaming and was not the right thing to do with a 5 year old. She requested the teacher seat him close to her, so he could be redirected once he started getting antsy. Unfortunately, by this point, the harm had already being done and school held little pleasure for him. We are very happy things have improved since attending his new school. He's reading very well now, writing full page stories, and we've discovered he's an Arithmetic genius but best of all, he enjoys school. He still cries when he remembers Sarah Smith and does not even want us to talk about visiting Atlanta as he is too scared we will send him back there. We have promised him he will never have to go back there. It's being 11months since our son left Sarah Smith and I'm writing this review now because he came crying again this morning saying he had a nightmare that he we sent him back to Sarah Smith. This literally broke my heart! I had to put this down. It was Kindergarten, why did it have to be so stressful??? Mediocre school living off past glory. gr8 school#love it #5th grade
My kindergarten daughter goes here. It has been an exceptional school year thus far!! Everything you could ask for. Katrece
My kids went here for 4th and 5th grade. Both years, their teachers were amazing! They took a great deal of interest in my children's adjustments to the school and made sure they were able to get caught up. They didn't just teach the curriculum; they both emerged with a greater sense of self, pride, and confidence.
