Made jokes about other patients and their conditions. Not funny felt like my story could be told.

Dr Hans and the team did not explain to my parents what could happen after surgery. My brother is non verbal and has cerebral palsy, he had other issues going on they never looked into the real issue but instead rushed him into surgery and never tried other options. He had post op ileus for 6 weeks and we were told “we’ve never had a case like this.” We were told this was a easy, simple, protocol surgery... but then that this case was so rare. He never smiled or laughed after surgery and they never tried more than stopping in some days. I would not recommend this surgery for a child with special needs please try to find specialists for motility issues before operating. God bless all
