Dr. Sara Moassesfar

My daughter want to Dr Moassesfar for an issue with some of the hormone levels in her bloodwork. Everything seemed fine until we went for a follow up appointment. Dr Moassesfar didn't remember that she had wanted a followup exam with bloodwork. When I told her about the results, she didn't even look at them, but started to go on and on about how my daughter was overweight. My daughter is autistic and has severe social anxiety. I tried to tell Dr Moassesfar about this but she just kept talking to both of us in a very condescending voice about how the Keto diet doesn't work. I told her that doctors had told her how this diet worked and that my daughter had lost a bunch of weight being on this diet. I really wished I had just gotten up and walked out. Terrible experience. My daughter refuses to see her again, and I refuse to take her. I just keep shaking my head that she disregarded the fact that she had asked for a followup with bloodwork and then didn't even look at the results and harangued my daughter about a completely different matter altogether. She was by far the worst doctor I ever seen. I was referred to her by Stanford Children's Health Specialty center in Sunnyvale for a very specific test which they couldn't order for my son. I was told UCSF can order that particular test. After waiting for ~3 months to see her, I took one day off from work, and drove from South Bay to Oakland , and when we met Dr. Moassesfar, she just spent 5mins with us, and she said we already did all lab tests at Stanford and there is nothing else she can do.
