Worst doctor experience by far. As the son of a doctor, I have been exposed to doctors offices my whole life, and respect for the patient is important. A week prior i had gone to get my vision checked, and they discovered a hole in my retina, which requires a very simple procedure. Fast forwarding to now, I arrived for my appointment on time, and waited a long time to be called back into the office. After about 10 minutes of them checking my vision, I was moved to another waiting room where I waited for another 45 min. I was moved to another room where Dr. Pham checked my eyes, and was led back to the same room to wait another 45 min. After being moved to another room to discuss pricing for my procedure, we had been waiting for another 20 min, and decided it was too long. We approached one of the nurses and were very nice about why we were upset. She said that we were waiting a long time because the procedure had been added the day of, rather than a week ago when I made the appointment, After letting us know this, she sat at her desk and blatantly ignored us as we nicely asked more questions. From there, we were fed up so we left, and demanded a refund. Dr. Pham came out and asked why we were leaving, and already upset I told her I didn't want my time wasted to which she replied "ok sorry" in a way that was clear she did not care at all. I am extremely upset with my visit here, and will never reccoment this practice to anyone. 3 hours is much too long to be waiting at a doctors office, especially when the staff has no respect for the patients they are seeing. My mom has retinal vein occlusion so she needs injections in her right eye every 6 weeks. She had been going to Dr. Sapa Pham in 2020 and half of 2021 for these injections. The doctor wasn't very skilled in giving injections. My mom often complaint to me that her injections were painful and sometimes there were bleedings too. The doctor's office also overcharged my mom multiple times until I found out by checking her EOBs and notified the insurance company about this. That's when the doctor suddenly stopped accepting my mom's insurance (Ambetter) mid-year without any advance notification or any clear explanation. We had to find a new doctor because there is no way we could find a new plan mid-year. Good thing is the new doctor is much better and no more overcharges.

Dr. Pham is thorough, capable and very compassionate. Excellent doctor.

Very impressed by Dr. Pham. Although she couldn’t help me, she was attentive, patient and understanding with my frustrations. She even followed up and wrote several referrals for me. She goes above and beyond and even followed up 2 weeks after my visit on the status of my condition. We need more compassionate doctors like her. I hope she stays this way because it will take her far.

Extremely professional as well as caring. She explains thoroughly the answer to any question & cares about how I felt. She relieved me of my anxiety over having eye surgery.
