I saw Dr. Mathur for severe pain in my lower back. After descussing the circumstances leading to this pain, he examined me and ordered X-rays. He clearly described the conditon of my arthritic spine at the point of pain and recommended starting with a short course of an anti-inflammatory drug to reduce inflammation and pain. He explained that further steps could be taken as necessary. In my case, this first step eliminated my pain, and I am able to return to my normal activities. The office staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Mathur to others.

Performed my microdissectomy surgery few years back L5-S1 and he gave me my life back. He has great bedside manner and I couldn’t be more pleased with my communications with him prior and outcome and care after. Unfortunately, I ended up back in his care again years later because of wear and tear related to my nursing career and I knew he was the one for the job.
Dr Mathur fixed my back (L4-5) after my first surgeon, at another practice, did not fix all my spine issues. In my book, he is great!!

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Mathurat Potomac Valley. No wait time. Excellent experience. Went to seehim for lower back pain a few years back. The treatment plan worked. Have been pain free since then. Thank you PVOAC for making my quality of life better.
