Dr. Vasishtha is a warm, caring, knowledgeable Pediatrician. He takes his time to listen to you. Also, as a plus, he has a wonderful sense of humor.

Dr. V is a great doc who genuinely cares for his patients. When my kids where babies he would give them a quick snuggle after the exam. Nothing too weird and not very long but just long enough to show "I'm sorry i just made you cry" kind of deal. Very supportive of breastfeeding and has always supported my decisions. My son is a teenager now and is still as comfortable as a teenage boy is ever going to be on a doctor's exam table. Reception and medical staff are very friendly. The office is always very clean. I brought my son to Dr. V after he was born and I would not recommend him to others. I picked him as my sons pediatrician after birth because of good reviews online but sadly I disagree with them. This doctor rushed us saying “what else” in a hurried manner. As sleep deprived first time parents we were not prepared to rattle off questions and it was stressful to me having to try to quickly read what questions I had for the Dr written in my phone. Also in my opinion a pediatrician should share with you what information is most important for a parent to know, not just ask if we have any questions. The first week after birth my son barely gained any weight and his suggestion to help him gain was to use a breast pump and have my husband feed him. I don’t understand how that would help and neither did my lactation consultant. Having the baby at the breast often is what would stimulate my body to make more milk. I’m glad I didn’t follow his advice because my son gained 1.5 oz a day the second week! No thanks to Dr.V.! He also tried making jokes at my expense saying my hormones were gonna be going crazy and I was going to be mean to my husband, that’s not funny and not how you support a new mother!!! He also made some also not funny joke at my expense on our last visit that I can’t remember atm, I was just glad it was our last appointment with him before my family was moving! We got in a room quickly but it took long for the Dr to come in. The front desk worker was nice and the room was clean and the building is nice but I do not recommend this Dr. especially to new moms whom are breastfeeding! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DR. V!! He is always thorough and takes care of any questions we have. He not only does a thorough examine of our two daughters but always asks how me and my husband are doing. I cannot recommend him enough. Plus the wait time is always minimal!!

Dr. Vasishtha has a great bedside manner. My daughter loves him and feels comfortable in his presence even though we have had some unpleasant, necessary procedures we have had to undergo in the past. She continues to adore him all the same. He is knowledgable and I trust his judgement. He does not over medicate and is honest without being an alarmist. I travel 25 minutes to see him, although there are many other peditricans closer by. His expertise in the field and innate qualities as a pediatrician are worth the miles. He's a great doctor! He is very knowledgeable. I wouldn't trade him for any other doctor.

we went to dr v with our newborn, he is amazing with kids. such a positive doctor. We left town and thus had to switch our pediatrician, the most i'll miss is him for by baby. i trusted Dr V with my baby.

Dr. V has been our family's pediatrician for a long time. He is very supportive of breastfeeding and continues to always ask "how's Mom doing?" He makes us all feel like we are his patients. When there is a sick appointment needed the office always finds a way for us to be seen even if it's at the alternate office in Fogelsville. The addition of weekend hours and the backing of LVHN makes us all feel safe and secure with our children's health. Dr. V has been our family's pediatrician for a long time. Dr. Vashistha is an excellent pediatrician. He is very knowledgeable, takes time listen to you and explains conditions clearly. He made my daughter feel very comfortable and confidant having a male doctor. He understands. Very importantly he is looking out for his patients and not to look for the almighty dollar! I highly recommend him to everyone with a child who needs such a caring doctor. I was blessed to have found him.
