I had a great experience at the Poplar Avenue Clinic. The staff and providers are very friendly and professional. I definitely will be recommending this place to all of my friends and family. I went in today for a check up and I was in and out within an hour. Overall 5 stars i will definitely be back.

This was my 1st visit to see Dr. Kumar. The staff are very nice, professional, & knowledgeable. Dr. Kumar & his staff have a great bedside manner including a confident & peaceful tone. Dr Kumar asked if I had any further questions & listened patiently, & answered them in a kind way. I walked out of his office feeling relieved in knowing I was referred to a great place.

I am mother of 4 girls. Now in my 50’s I was having horrible women’s issues. When I was referred to Dr Kumar I was very impressed by all of the sweet and caring employees, as well as the professionalism of Dr. Kumar. I cannot express my gratitude enough to him and all of his staff for taking the best care of me before and after surgery.

Poplar Avenue Clinic is amazing. Nurse Practitioner Dominique Clark was be try polite and informative. During my exam she explained everything from start to finish. She made an uncomfortable situation very comfortable. I recommend anyone who is looking for women’s healthcare to try NP Clark.

I wouldn't give this place any stars if it were an option. I waited two hours for each of the appointments I had here. Clearly they are not well-organized and do not respect their patient's time. However, the most upsetting part about my experience is that after the doctor put me on two different medications, I had a question regarding them. I called every day for almost two full weeks to try to speak to a nurse or a doctor, without any luck. The front desk would transfer me to the "nurse's station." They never answered, and their voicemail was full. I emailed the office to see if I could speak with a doctor or nurse, and I never heard back. I left a message with the front desk to have someone call me when they had time, but again, I never heard from them. This behavior, not prioritizing patients when you have them on a treatment plan, is pure negligence on the doctor's part. I have never felt less cared for by a doctor than with this clinic. Though I have many other complaints about the facility, the way the doctors run this facility says all anyone would need to know to make an informed decision about whether or not to go. Overall, no. I would not recommend any person I know to schedule an appointment here. My cat's vet treats him with more respect than this place treated me.

I want to thank the Doctors and staff for helping me find a solution to the years of pain and discomfort that I have been in. I also want to thank Dr Kumar for doing so well with my surgery, Kelsey for always being available after my surgery and Rana for being so kind and helping with pain management. I definitely recommend them for any and all women having female issues. You Rock.

One stop for all your pregnancy woes. I’m a mom/biochemist who gave birth three months ago. My body went through 36 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing. Dr. Kumar made me complete again. Very thorough and exceptionally good at stitching. This is where to go. It’s important to feel confident & comfortable, especially after having a baby while feeling bliss in all its other forms. Highly highly recommended with the least amount of pain. Dr.Kumar is experienced and has great techniques. Love his staff too!

Dr. Kumar is awesome!!!!! I had to have a myomectomy done that I put off for a long time. I was recommended to Dr.Kumar by my cousin. I couldn't have made a better decision. I don't like being put to sleep. Dr. Kumar made me feel really comfortable before being put to sleep. Don't mention the scar( beautiful). I am healing very well. The best obgyn doctor office ever , I even like them better than my regular doctor office. They make me feel comfortable and take the time to listen to my questions. During my surgery she make sure I was ok and my recovery is going really well. Thank you Dr. Huda.

Dr. Kumar is incompetent misdiagnosed me and referred me to the wrong kind of Specialist. Does not go over lab work with patients and seems unconcerned if though patients have severe issues.

My visit to Dr Kumar's office was very delightful. I have never been very comfortable going to doctors, especially gynecologist. But this office is very different. Every person that works in the office that I interacted with is very polite and greets you with a smile. Dr Kumar is very personable and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I remember coming in there in late November. Kumar gave me an ultrasound, and during the ultrasound, HE asked ME if I was pregnant.... I proceeded to ask him if he saw anything and he shook his head. After that, I never returned. Most incompetent OB I've ever been to. Please do yourself a favor and not go to his office.

I saw Dr. Kumar today for the very first time. I must say that this experience was one of the most comforting, trustworthy, and overall fantastic experiences I have ever had with a doctor. He had such a lovely bedside manner. He immediately showed me great respect by shaking my hand as he entered the room. Such a kind, simple gesture comes few and far between these days. This is my third time here. Everyone from the front desk to Dr. Kumar are proffessional and awesome staff. There enegry is always postive and caring.

Dr. Kumar was able to take care of me, I was so worried because I knew there was a chance I was going to get bad news. Everyone made me feel welcomed and my surgery was booked quickly and now I'm healing. This team was with me the entire way.

After a HORRIBLE visit.. VERY clinical office. Felt like I was in a Health Department. Put in a room, naked on the table for almost 45 minutes before Kumar came in. I smiled and said hi to his "nurse" she snared her nose and turned around. During the exam, Legs open facing the doorway, He tells nurse to call in 2 other people... OPENS THE DOOR and invited 2 other staff in the room to look at my conditions. Then he says "I like to educate my staff when these situations come up". After the exam, I am ushered to another room to "LEAVE MY REVIEW" and was told that I would receive a phone call within the week with my surgery date. 10 days later... no phone call. So I call the office and leave a message and wait for someone to call me back. Get a surgery date scheduled 4 MONTHS later. Fast forward 4 months, a weeks before my surgery I call the office, no answers. 2 days before surgery I finally get someone to call me back to tell me that my surgery was NEVER APPROVED.
