My wife suffered two pancreatitis attacks that resulted in ER & a hospital stay for tests. A nurse in ER recommended “Dr Jag”. He was able to see her in less time than another reco’d by our GI specialist. His staff was excellent in the fist meeting. An endoscopy & 6 needle biopsy was done. Could read the preliminary My Chart report yet didn’t know what it meant; it alluded to possible cancer. After a week tried to call the Dr since he was to have the final report by then. A zoom call was scheduled as her appt was still two weeks away. But the dr didn’t show for the call. After we called again, he called back and said if it were really bad news he would have called but it wasn’t; he’d explain more at the appt. At that time he ordered blood work & PET. She had that which was uncomfortable with radioactive injection. As with the first test, saw MyChart result that we didn’t understand. After three calls and two weeks, still don’t know. Why make patients beg for tesults? No empathy.

it took me over a month to get an appointment, left many messages for nicole to return calls, she did after a week and needed some more info then another week. Procedure went fine but office staff (Nicole) takes to long to return calls. Thank you for letting me vent.

Great caring doctor. Nice to know he worked with my physicians in MD.

Hello, I had a colonoscopy to where Dr. Jagannath was my physician. Dr. Jagannath and his team were extremely knowledgeable, comforting, friendly and funny. This whole experience with the complete team form intake to the orderly escorting me to my car was extremely a positive one. Thank you WAKE Med GASTROENTEROLOGY TEAM

I highly recommend Dr. Jagannath. He performed my preventive colonoscopy. I found him to be professional, very knowledgeable and informative. He carefully explained what I should expect before, during and after the procedure. While I know many doctors do this, Dr. Jagannath was very personable and treated me as though I was a patient with whom he would take great care during the procedure. I never felt as though I was a number being shuffled through the very active Gastroenterology group.
