I don't like at all >>> i was there yesterday to check my blood test results front desk&nurse practicener he almost lay down on his chair when i check in I made appointment with Dr white but other lady show up she asked me Questions with NO manners i didn't finish my time I walked out the office So Rude

We have been going to Dr White over than 11 years. Wonderful experience with the whole practice. They are doing great job.

We are very happy with this doctor.

This is the worst office staff ever. I have been calling and calling and no one calls back. I am so dissatisfied with his front desk and the referral department, what a shame . If I didn’t have high blood before, I certainly do now. Carol Guzman

Jae the PA is fantastic, however the office is staff is near impossible to get a hold of. My pharmacy has been faxing since Jan. 30th for refills and have not gotten a response. I've been calling for two days and no response as well. The medical staff is only as good as their office staff.

I was a patient of Maryanna’s for years along with my daughters, one having Autism, during COVID she left the office with no notification to any of us. When I called to speak with the office Manager concerning this matter she said that it wasn’t their policy to contact the patients when a PA left. Needless to say I was not happy about this policy. I was seeing another Dr at the time so I did not make an appointment to see another PA. I was more concerned about my daughter with her disability than me…our insurance is changing in March so I called to see if I could get into see a PA, the front desk said she would speak to Dr White about it, because I was dismissed. I received a message today saying they cannot be my provider because I dismissed myself? Not clear what the reason was but I guess it was because I called out their failed policy of not notifying patients when their provider leaves the office. I am sorry they cannot take corrective criticism.

Scam artist! Do not come here! They waited till my entire appointment was over to tell me my insurance was not accepted then proceeded to charge me the full amount of the appointment. This is ridiculous and outrageous! Before taking me back you should validate the insurance especially since I made it clear at the beginning of my appointment and when booking the appointment on the phone my insurance had change. I was assured it was fine only to find out that’s not the case and the being charged the entire cost of my appointment. This is terrible business practices and a scam! I personally love this office! They are always nice and quick. They get me in whenever I need it and Dr. White is extremely helpful!!

We have been going to this office for a long time the staff is awful our PA and medical assistant left I was seen 6 months ago I need a note for jury duty because my provider is gone they are making me come in because the other providers who are all PA’s don’t know me I guess they are unable to read a chart the reason that I am so upset is because I don’t have insurance and they are charging me $75 they really take advantage of seniors this time I have to go but I will never use this office again total rip off and there’s very rarely an MD onsite

This place saved my husbands life, he went to the er and they kept telling him it was a sinuses issue and when he finally went to theme they got mri and he had a tumor. If he would have waited he probably wouldn’t be here today! Thank you!

Dr. Sanford White is caring, compassionate, patient, understanding, and helpful. He never makes me feel rushed, unimportant, or insignificant (like some other doctors I've visited elsewhere). He is professional and respectful. Dr. Sanford White and his assistant Ruby and thorough and diligent with treatment and follow-up. Dr. White always takes time to thoroughly explain any issues, concerns, and treatment. He is the BEST doctor that I've had in years!! I'm lucky to have found this office!

Staff is the absolute worst. I had an issue involving a neck injury that needed prompt attention. I called for an appointment and the staff person told me they had no same day appointments available and that I should call back first thing in the morning. The next day, I started calling 1 minute prior to their business hours opening. A machine would tell me I was next in the queue, but then it would just go to voicemail. I would hang up and immediately call back. I went through this process over a dozen times. A half hour later, I called back and "Raven" answered. She told me that all the same day appointments had been filled already and I should call back first thing in the morning! Her condescending tone told me I needed to know about how important I was as a patient. This is unacceptable. I am changing my primary care physician simple because Dr White's staff is so bad.

Absolutely disgraceful place. You will be left waiting and waiting with no one addressing the reason why your appointment time has passed 45 mins ago. Find a different provider !!

My mom called to make a appointment today and she asked to speak to someone in spanish because she wanted to explain what's happening to her. They transfer her to a women, this lady would talk to my mom in English while my mom talked in spanish. My mom kindly asked her to talk in spanish so she can understand and she said in English " no good". My mom felt bad. Im a bit disappointed in the manner the by which office staff works. I believe it is time that Dr. Sanford White makes time to be present and evaluate his employees as a whole at his Summerlin office. In the beginning I was pleased by how the P.A. and office staff dealt with me. However, as of late the office staff has been making alot of mistakes from billing to scheduling. The P.A. is having to train and monitor trainees which shortens my visit and has lead to me walking out without prescription or certain lab request. That sets me back in determining what is wrong with my health. And as a result often requires me having to make another appointment to collect what shouldve been provided at the previous visit. Perhaps hiring a staff that does less chatting would help lessen the mistakes. UPDATE: A doctor who intentionally refuses to see a patient on the orders of the hospital emergency physician contributing to further complications that threatens the health and well being of his patient, is NOT a physician worthy of your money or trust. Sanford White neglected to see my mother who was also a patient at Ensign. As a result she experienced near kidney failure, resulting in the need for emergency operation to insert a Nephrostomy tube, in which she then contracted a blood infection. Even after the this last incident, he and his staff, continued refusing to see my mother. Sanford White should be sanctioned or penalized for his unprofessionalism and very poor ethics. If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr. White runs a practice that doesn't have any respect for their customer/patient base. The scheduling, payment staff are RUDE and downright inept. Dr. White has a very high turnover rate on PAs (apparently, he can't afford to staff actual doctors). In the last three years I saw 5 different PAs. The last PA I saw admitted the practice double books for the money. Recently my wait times have jumped to around 2 hours where I have to wait to be seen. The coup de gras was the last time I was in a brand new PA, fresh out of school, told me he would no longer fill my regular monthly subscription because he didn't want to. He demanded to make me try multiple medications until I found another that could help me. I TRIED EVERYTHING. The more I think about it the more i'm convinced they are trying to force patients to take medication they get kickbacks or discounts on. No!! I will not let Dr. White and his errand boy Aaron Powell treat me with such disrespect. I will NOT be a guinea pig for new medication and I will NOT take medication just so he can get a cut from pharma profits. Don't go to Dr. White and Ensign Family Medicine. You will regret it!!! His office staff is the worse. You never speak to a real person when you call. And on their phone message they tell you we will get back to you within 72 hours and they don't. They don't return calls, very frustrating when trying to get a referal. You don't want him as your PCP. Hes more trouble than he's worth. Also in 5 years of being a patient, I've only seen Dr White once. My initial visit.

When I switched insurance I never thought I would find a dr that was a good as my primary I’ve had. I am so glad I chose him as my primary! He and his nurse Ruby are wonderful. Dr White truly cares about his patients and that is rare here in Nevada. He takes time to listen and is willing to go the extra and do what it takes to help you. Compassionate and understanding, I trust Dr White’s knowledge. My daughters are now patients as well. I highly recommend him

I highly recommend Dr. White as he is very professional. You won't regret visiting his nice clean office. The staff member's are very attentive and pleasant.

Appointments never run on time. They over schedule with no regard for the waiting time of patients.

Horrible doctor. He's never available for his patients who request to see him. He has in our case neglected my mother's care which attributed to her health further declining which lead to her being hospitalized numerous times. He fails to return phone calls made to him by case managers, the patient and their family. He insist that patient be treated by PAC even when patient according to Dr. White may request to be treated by him. Dr. White is NOT a doctor I'd recommend to anyone needing care.

After being a patient for 8 years I will NEVER EVER step foot in Dr. White's office again! This started when I went in on December 19, 2016. Max Smith PAC thought I was having a urinary tract infection. I complied and did the urinary test. He told me it was positive for infection. I started the antibiotics he gave me. I have been a patient at Ensign Family Medicine for several years and they are very helpful and professional. Dr. White has been outstanding in diagnosing and helping with any issues I have had. I find the staff to be efficient, friendly, and compassionate. I feel that my PA, Max Smith really hears, and actually listens. He provides a carefully considered, cautious plan for my chronic pain and infusion issues, keeping my health (&safety) in mind at all times.

My family has been seeing Dr. White for 12 years since he opened his practice.We have not found a more caring doctor in Las Vegas. They now have a better system so the wait isn't that long if you make an appointment. Like any staff, if you show them respect, they will do the same in return. Never a problem. I also like that they have a lab on site for needed blood work. Their PA's are way more experienced and friendly then others in Vegas. I've been Dr. White's patient since 2011 and he is a wonderful doctor. Excellent bedside manner, very thorough and really takes the time to listen to you. His staff is courteous and efficient. I, personally, have never had a problem with his staff. I had an issue with my labs being sent to Quest instead of Labcorp (my fault for not letting the lab tech know which lab to send it to) and was charged, Ruby the office manager helped to resolve the issue. I have no doubt that if you have a problem, the office manager would make sure to address the problem quickly. I have sent many friends here and they are also very satisfied!! Also, I have read complaints of wait times and I have never waited more that 10 min. I do not get the sense that patients are being herded in and out of his office. It is quite peaceful in the waiting room and in the back where patients are being seen. Realistically, it's not unusual to wait 30-40 min for a doctor's appointment, but that has never happened with my appointments there. The office is not professional. I called to see Dr. White and they wanted to put me in with a PA. I explained I want to see an MD and they couldn't make an appointment at all for me. Why are you saying you will take new patients if you are making them see a PA?

I had an occasion last fall when I was out of one of my blood pressure meds, called the office, and nobody ever called me back. The last straw was this past week when I had an appointment with a dermatologist and got to her office to find out that the referral had never been sent, so I could not be seen and went there for nothing. As of today, 5 days later, the dermatologist's office has still not received the referral. Dr. White is professional, knowledgeable, and kind, but even he is not worth the hassle of dealing with his "support" staff. We are reluctantly going to change primary provider physicians. If you are an MGM Resorts employee do not bother trying to book an appointment here. They are several weeks if not a month out on bookings. (( Unless...you have the direct care plan )) In that case, you can get an appointment the next day apparently? Hard lesson learned here and very frustrating change that I was not aware of. Too bad, because Dr. White is a very good Doctor. If....you can get in to see him. Ill be forced to go elsewhere unfortunately. Both Dr. White and his PA Janine Oliver have taken very good care of me and my family. I have very short wait at my appointment time, and getting an appointment is super improved over the past year. I trust Ensign Family Medicine.
