Dr. Sandeep Singh Gill

I have filled this out 3 times and will not do it again. Dr Gill is Great.

Not good. Dr. was always hesitant about how to treat the patient. Didn't explain ALL of the options available, including hospice which meant he would lose my husband as a patient. Instead, chemo was allowed and 1 round of it was devastating - never went back for the 2nd dose. Going on hospice sooner could have meant my husband wouldn't have suffered nearly as much as he did. Overall, very bad experience!!

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Gill. My previous doctor that I had seen for several years had retired. I had to be open for the change. I felt that thee new doctor would not spend the time talking and explaining things to me, but Dr. Gill was professional and review my blood work and told me to keep doing what I was doing. I have an appointment in December 2023 with him.

He is always willing to discuss treatment and current situation.

Listens very well and shows genuine concern for my well being. He is extremely knowledgeable and provides me with confidence that I am getting the best care possible

Do not go to him! My insurance deemed my bloodwork at his office as medically unnecessary. I have talked to his office 4 times in 7 months; no one is sending the information necessary to resubmit the claim. He isn't willing to fight insurance for his patients.

Very very pleased with Dr. Gill. I think he is a very intelligent man and a very good doctor! I have been a patient for 7-8 years.

My insurance needs more information for my claim to be approved. I've been trying to get Dr. Gill's office to send the information for over 4 months, and no one is doing anything. I talked to Dr. Gill today. His response: remind me next week. He doesn't care about his patient or their fights to get insurance to pay

I am always a bit hesitant about new doctors, however Dr Gill was great! He was thorough and very informative. Blessed I found a doctor who will be with me on this journey.

Very cold and doesn't care to listen

Dr. Gill is very knowledgeable and knows his patients well. He is thoughtful, kind and understanding. He takes time with you and covers everything. He listens to the patient and answers all concerns. Dr. Gill is the overall best doctor I have ever had.

Dr. Gill is one the most caring doctor I have ever had. All the associates at Texas Oncology go above and beyond to make sure I get the best care. I highly recommend Texas Oncology and their staff.

Dr. Gill has been a God Send to me. He has the best bedside manners than most doctors I have come in contact with. He is very professional and does not over talk you and use terms that you don't or can't understand. He is legitimately concerned with your health and you getting well/better. He takes to time to listen to you and allows you to express any concerns you may have. I would definitely recommend him.

Great office with excellent personal!

I look forward to visit my schedule appointment with Dr. Gill. He is a great Doctor and I feel safe and confident with his medical decision.

Dr Gill has been my oncologist for over 10 years now. I first saw him in the hospital when I needed a emergency blood transfusion. He is a very caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, doctor. He initial treated me for internal bleeding issues that led to me requiring several blood transfusions as well and being treated for extreme Anemia and getting monthly iron infusions. My veins are extremely bad so he helped me get a port implanted in order to give me the iron I needed without infiltrating my small, weakened veins. Over the years I have gone to him for advice with other problems that were either contributing to my anemia and internal bleeding or just causing me extreme pain. He has always made me feel comfortable and tried his best to find doctors for me that could help me take care of other health issues I’ve had... autoimmune diseases, bowel issues, herniated bowels, uterus and ovaries full of cysts and leading to full hysterectomy (was causing major bleeding issues), anemia, herniated back and neck issues.... I felt safe and secure seeing him for advise and getting scans ordered as needed and referrals from him. I haven’t needed him for any cancer treatments just iron infusions, but if I ever did he WOULD be the doctor I would want and trust to treat me. I honestly can’t praise him and his office enough. Outstanding Doctor!! Dr. Gill has been my Hematologist for 15 years. I was diagnosis with Sickle Cell Anemia from birth and I have never encountered a doctor who thoroughly explain this illness and treatment until I met Dr. Gill. He goes over and beyond to properly educate me of my illness, how to stay heathy and the best method of treatment to take. He is constantly giving advice on update medical treatment and provide me with pro and cons of any situation that may arise. What impress me the most is if I encounter any health issues, he would take a holistic approach and thoroughly evaluate the situation from all angles to find the root cause of the problem as any good Hematology/Oncology should do. If anyone is looking for a great Hematology/Oncology, I would strongly recommend Dr. Gill. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, patience and compassionate. We had consulted a few doctors before meeting with Dr. Gill, we liked his approach for customizing the treatment. He keeps up with the latest medications and processes. Very happy with Dr. Gill, used him also in 2014.

When I first saw Dr Gill the outlook was pretty grim. Now it is seven years later and I am still around with very high hopes for the future. Yes I give him very high marks.

Could have given more information. Just got looks good see you in 6 months.

Dr. Gill is an excellent oncologist. He changed my medication four years ago, after trying various methods, and the new medication has worked excellently for me. I trust him always to do the correct thing and I appreciate his no-nonsense approach.

It was not a good visit. Seemed like a mixup that we were in the exam room waiting for the dr. When he came he had no info about me with him. I'm going to go back to dr Rojas even tho she much further away. When I I tried to make an appt for a blood testa week before seeing the dr. I was told I didn't need to and could have blood work done the same time and it would be ready for the dr. It was not.

Dr. Gill has been my oncologist for the past seven years.During this time period,he has shown an exceptional interest in my treatment. He takes time to answer questions and is very positive with the results I am having.I have had to call his office a few times to get advice on interactions other prescriptions might have with my treatment. Dr.Gill’s. nurse and/ or office staff have always responded in a timely manner. Dr. Sandeep Gill is a very caring, compassionate doctor.

Dr. Gill hardly speaks to me. Twice, he has not communicated vital information like the fact that 1. he put in meds for me (I discovered this on accident when I went to get a different prescription filled) 2. he put in for a 24 hour urine test (which he did not tell me about...scheduling person did and nurse had to bring the supplies up) AND did not tell me that I needed to return the sample myself and have blood work done. Thankfully I was able to go in right before they closed to do it or I would have had to do the urine part all over again. I've heard he's a great doctor but I wish he would communicate especially when my blood tanking!

I was assigned Dr. Gill when I was hospitilized with strange symptoms in October, 2017. Dr. Gill treated me for non Hodgkins Lymphoma. I had a rough time with chemo due to my small size (4"10") and age (75) and had to be hospitalized three times. Dr. Gill stopped the treatments at five instead of six because they were so dangerous to me. He assured me the cancer is gone, checks me & lab work every three months and so far, so good! He seemed as pleased with my outcome as I have been. His staff are all wonderful, competent, caring people. I have always had questions answered or been seen by the doctor promptly as needed. I would recommend Dr. Gill, his staff and Texas Oncology. They care about their patients!

I absolutely love this man as a doctor but as a human being. He kept us grounded and informed through the whole process and even though he is busy made us feel like we were the only patient. He doesnt sugarcoat which actually helps tremendously . He will fight for the program and plan he wants for you and rarely takes no for an answer. I would recommend him to anyone. My father got sent to him to get a shot for his to start his treatment on his prostate cancer. The doctor ended up walking out on us on the first appointment. We ended up paying to go see him and we got sent home. In the end we will just end up going to a different doctor to help get my dad his treatment.

Dr Gill has gone out of his way to care for me. I have a very rare and extremely complicated disease. In the past it has been very hard for me to find a dr the understood my illness and the severity of it. He has always very carefully explained everything to me and my family. I can get sick very quickly and will need to see the dr and receive my treatment, the staff and drbhave always been able to see me and provide my treatment with short notice on the same day. I couldnt ask for a better Dr

Dr. Gill is a Caring doctor. He took care of me since 2002. I was hospitalized on several occasions and received prompt care which lead to a speedy recovery

I only wish my experience with Dr. Gill was as positive as that by many of the posters on the board. My first gripe is with the business office at Texas Oncology. After having been devastated financially by spending weeks in the hospital and not having work left, but having full coverage insurance I was denied care because I could not afford the $40.00 copay that week. Dr. Gill was unreliable for me. Spent little time with me and basic feeling of care was just not there. I was dying.

Since 2002/2003 to date I have received great care from Dr. Gill. Several times I have had health crisis and near death experience and his expertise and commitment to his work has saved my life. He is on point with his diagnosis and treatment plan. He is caring, attentive, compassionate and very knowledgeable. I appreciate him and his staff. They are wonderful and very caring. Set of people. I would not hesitate to refer his office.

Dr Gill is very caring, and always searching for answers. He has cared for me for many years and given me life changing care. I have been seeing him to manage hematology issues and I am very thankful that he is my doctor. I gladly would send my loved ones to Dr. Gill.

He is a a wonderful doctor. I have been seeing him to manage hematology issues and I am very thankful that he is my doctor. His mind is always working overtime to come up with the best solutions for your care and he is a natural problem solver. Great staff too, Ana and Shelly are very accommodating, sweet, and patient. If my husband ever needed an oncologist or hematologist I would have him see Dr. Gill.

I saw Dr. Gill for about 6 month period. At first he was very charming and acted like he had your best interest at heart and acts concerned. Then he will lose interest in you. He will walk out on appointments while you wait to see him after you have paid to see him. Then when you complain he gets mad cause he has to come back to the office cause you and your husband are angry that this has happened for the second time him walking out on you. Then when he finds other things on a CT scan he drops you as a patient. He tells you that you must find you another specialist cause there is nothing that can be done for you by him. First off he is a specialist and he is suppose to be one of the best. I would not recommend my worst enemy to Dr. Sandeep Gill. Cause he left me to die alone without any help finding another doctor. If I die from this man stopping my treatment then I guarantee he will be sued till he is no longer a specialist and maybe just a doctor if anything at all. I saw Dr. Gill for about 6 month period. I was diagnosed and treated for Folicular Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma by Dr. Gill in 2003. I had a complete response (remission) within a month. I give him the credit for correctly diagnosing and choosing the proper chemo mix (Fludara, Cytoxan and Rituxan) and God for the healing. He is excellent.

Dr. Gill has been my doctor for the past 6 years. He has treated me for my multi myeloma and has assisted in helping me find a doctor to preform surgery to correct the two aneurisms in my brain and came to check on me in the hospital due to a stroke. The stroke could have been caused by the drug I was on. I was taken off that medicine and put on a new FDA approved drug for my multi myeloma. I trust Dr. Gill and am thankful he is my doctor.
