absolutely horrible, does not listen or even pretend to, makes wrong assumptions, gaslights and is extremely blatantly rude. acts like patients are a burden and is really arrogant. 0 stars if I could.

I have been seeing Dr. Szumstein for nearly a decade now. I find him to be A very knowledgeable and caring practioner. He has been very straight forward with me over this time and if I wasn't following his recommendations to help me help myself then he can be very blunt. I didn't take this as rude, I took it as caring and making me realize how serious the fact that I stop breathing at night must be addressed using the knowledge and advice he provides. Most rude Doctor ever! He treated my husband like he was ignorant and made him feel like he was lower than him! My husband was only worried about what he has and was asking questions but this doctor gets annoyed! Is that not what his job is?? To figure out what is going on and be there to answer questions??
