Did not listen to me at all. Made me feel like my pain for the last 10 years was all in my head. Went to another Dr and he confirmed I have neuropathy in both get and the nerves on one side are almost completely gone. Going for x-rays on back which I was told by 3 other Drs how severe my problem was. This do y called Dr tried to tell me with exercise it will hurt more but have to do it. I explained how I'm not able to get out of bed for days doing that and had the nerve to say that means it's working and that's good if I can't get out of bed. Very poor need side manner. Not sure how he became a Dr

Went for shoulder pain. Was told that it was because of my RA and did not listen when I told him that another doctor told me it’s bursitis and I have a ultrasound to confirm this. He also ridiculed me for going to several different specialists instead of just one doctor to treat everything. I did see one doctor who gave me several referrals, one of which was to him. He also put in my visit notes that I need to follow up with a psychiatrist, which I do regularly and to be honest I have no idea what that has to do with a visit for shoulder pain. Incredibly rude, spent maybe 5 minutes with me. Went for shoulder pain. I had an excellent visit and problem review with Dr. Samuel's fellow, Dr. Syed. When Dr. Samuel came in to review what he had found, he provided me with almost no information, ordered a couple of expensive tests without telling me why (they were a repeat of tests I had already had 2 months earlier), and left the room, all within about 2 minutes. The tests came back with the same info found previously. I emailed him for his interpretation, asked a few questions, and received an unhelpful reply without explanation.

He treats patients poorly he refused to give me doctor note for work, he told me just go to work. I told him something is wrong . He ignored what I said for 6 months. No testing done . Ended up having a heart attack. Fired him after that

Made a 4 hour trip from southeast Indiana to the Cleveland Clinic for my (barely) 18 year old daughter to be seen for a chronic condition that has affected her for years. We have tried a plethora of treatments/therapies over the years many of which she would have been too young to fully understand, let alone remember. They failed to tell me I wouldn’t be allowed in the room with her because of COVID-19. I explained that wouldn’t work as I needed to provide information and be able to answer questions. So they instructed me to sit in the “waiting area” and my daughter would be able to FaceTime me. They have absolutely no regard for the fact that I am trying to provide personal medical information in a wide-open area full of people. Even with my AirPods I can’t hear most of what is being said with all of the visitors talking, elevators beeping, etc.. I told them I couldn’t hear and they told me to go down to the first floor lobby which turns out to be just as loud. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a facility. So much for patient confidentiality and privacy. You would think Cleveland Clinic would have a workable plan in place to help facilitate this process better...a private room, a dedicated land line to use? Dr. Samuel is the only pain management physician to be able to treat my complex peripheral neuropathy and lower spinal pain successfully in 25 years of Seeing various physicians in 3 states. Not only am I pain free, and my neuropathy is controlled by a spinal cord stimulator, but I am on next to no medication for it as well. He has given me my life back and am most grateful.

Worse doctor experience EVER!! Extremely rude! Bedside manner was terrible!!! Treated very poorly!!! Will never go back!

Saw Dr. Samuel in March. He prescribed low dose naltrexone for my chronic pain. Returned yesterday for follow up. I was terribly disappointed. After telling him that I felt worse on LDN and stopped taking it, as my appt ended he offered to prescribe LDN. I reminded him that he had prescribed it last time and side effects were awful. Point is, he was not paying any attention to me. Must not have even glanced at my chart.
