Dr. Rosen is an outstanding, very realistic and down-to-earth friendly physician who is easy to talk with—he is non judgmental, but offers so many easy-to-do tips & how to’s in addition to identifying root causes to issues. He is an outstanding diagnostic doctor & identified quickly and accurately my problem which is helped by medication and cognitive behavioral therapy. My family and I are so thankful I found him. He continues to make positive differences for me which helps me know happiness and be able to express myself appropriately in my life.

I mean I got some of the medications I needed for my anxiety and depression but apparently you have to be a veteran to have PTSD, oh and if you made it through college just fine you don't have ADHD. He also likes to compare men and women and then say "I'll stop before I get in trouble." and loves calling himself a fruit... outdated ideas that certainly made me uncomfortable. Medical professionals should yearn to learn more about medical advances and I felt like it was the 1960's. The outpatient program I did for my anxiety/depression advised me to stop seeing him but if none of these things apply to you then maybe hes a good fit! He is really nice but the comments really were not it for me. I have never been treated so horribly from a psychiatrist. He literally judged me because of my past. He refused to listen. Psychiatrist like Rosen should lose his license. I am in fear that the things he said to me would actually cause another human to take their own lives. Horrible bedside manner, judges harshly, stopped listening for a request for a non narcotic aid for my panic attacks. He assumed, that because I had a drug problem years ago that I was drug seeking. He refused to listen and he has negatively impacted my life substantially. I pray that he doesn't hurt someone else. Please, please, please seek do not consider this monster for psychiatry, you mean more than some judgement passed by a man who literally only spoke to me one time before and then jumped to conclusions. Definitely don't use him, please contact NAMI for help I have never been treated so horribly from a psychiatrist. He literally judged me because of my past. He refused to listen. Dr Rosen is a fantastic doctor. He is down to earth, compassionate, has a good sense of humor, listens well by practicing active listening, and explains his process of thinking so you understand how he can help. He also is very transparent as he orally dictates his notes which allows you, as the patient, to amend his note at the moment it is taken just in case he may have heard something incorrectly. I love the fact too that he is not a pill pusher as well, which many doctors these days have become, by giving an errant diagnosis for the catch-all diagnosis of the day. Highly recommended if you want a real assessment and real help. Dr Rosen is a fantastic doctor. This office needs to carefully consider who they place in a leadership role. Everyone in the office is very fluent in the word "unfortunately" and the supervisor could use a Bible or Google to learn some tips on compassion and proper patient care. I would not recommend this office for any depression/anxiety treatment and will do everything in my power to ensure this is no longer an in network provider for Aetna. Years of dealing with offices and the first time I have was told "unfortunately" you will have to go 3 months without the medicine you have been taking for years. Save yourself the trouble and search for a office who has your best interest in heart not your money. This office needs to carefully consider who they place in a leadership role. He never listened to what I said about my mental health. He refused to change my meds even when I was having major issues with them. He only increased my dose each time I saw him. I ended up in the hospital after a supposed suicide attempt. He then dropped me from his care because because I violated our contract of safety. He is the worst doctor I’ve ever seen

My elderly father had a appointment with this “gentleman” and he is very deconditioned physically. They got lost trying to find his office and my father felt like he was about to fall so my mother had him sit down and she went into the office to ask the staff if they had a wheelchair. Someone from the office staff went to get my father with the wheelchair while my mother stayed in the office. My mother stated that while the lady went to get my father, Dr Rosen opened the door and stated “you are seven minutes late”, my mother was already in tears, and then he said “I can’t do an appointment in seven minutes” and turned around and shut the door. He then proceeded to take the next appointment and the staff told my mom they would have to reschedule. A psychiatrist only allots fifteen minutes for a patient? He was incredibly rude and showed zero empathy. They will NOT be seeing this man again. I wouldn’t even rate one star if I had the option. Dr. Rosen is incredibly smart and caring, and he has a great memory. He has taken care of me for almost 25 years and I would not be where I am today without him. He prescribes medication very carefully and thinks a lot about the different options available, then monitors and adjusts, based on how well things keep working. He is on top of emerging therapies and always well-informed on the pros and cons. He is also easy to talk to, a friendly person who shares his life experience and lessons learned. I would recommend Dr. Rosen to anyone in need of help with mental health issues. He is a great doctor and I am grateful for all his help.

Consulted with Dr. Rosen for my son's mental health evaluation. Upon arrival, Dr. Rosen stated the following: "I do not do mental health evaluations." Upon discussing my son's last eval with a different psychiatrist, Dr. Rosen stated he would be glad to make comments based on the last eval from 2013. Since Dr. Rosen either is not qualified, or refuses to do a complete eval on my son, I should have been notified prior to my son's appointment. This was a total waste of time, and money.

am a retired clinical psychologist and have worked with many psychiatrists throughout my career. Dr. Rosen saw my wife in ICU for about five minutes. Afterwards, I attempted to to give him some of her psychiatric history and he said he didn't have the time to listen. He then wrote an erroneous report, copying previous entries in her record. Dr. Rosen has the worst bedside manner of any mental health professional I've ever met!!

My husband was told he was a drug addict, by Dr Rosen He had just met my husband for the first time and has been in the hospital about 12 times, since 2011. Dr. Rosen was the ONLY psychiatrist that came to my brother's rescue & emergency, including Dept. of Mental Health & MUSC IOP (Tri-County area). He did not hesitate to take on a complicated case involving other serious medical conditions. His office is expedient in returning phone calls, and quicker than other physicians to call in medication when needed. He truly cares about his patients as "individuals." Dictates in front of patient so one knows what's in their record. Direct & to the point.

I had to switch Psychiatrists due to a change in insurance. Dr. Rosen made sweeping decisions to get me off of my medicine and changed my diagnoses that previous Psychiatrists have all agreed on for years - and this was after only spending 45 minutes with me! I took his medical advice, and 3 days later I was almost hospitalized. My Psychologist said that all he was doing was making me unstable, and recommended that I switch doctors immediately.

Unpersonable. My last visit he might have looked at me (from his dictaphone), maybe 4 times throughout our session. Never responds to a phone request!!!!! It's been four days since I spoke to the receptionist and never receiving a response!!!! I was trying to switch doctors. Unfortunately, HUMANA participants are in his office. I called yesterday (Oct.26) to ask to see another doctor, and I was told Dr. Rosen had to give "approval"!??! No call back/response.
