He was a great Physician. Great Surgeon and a good man. Highly recommend

I gave him 1 star because I couldn’t give him 0!!! The worst experience ever, my mother saw him on April 21 told my mother he would be performing surgery within 15-30 days(my mom was diagnosed with uterine cancer and needs a hysterectomy) I called after 2 weeks when I wasn’t hearing from anyone and the nightmare begins, to talk to this doctor is like trying to speak to God in person! No one can tell you where he is and the only answer you get from his employees is “I will send him an email and once he sees it he will call you” well fast forward 10 days and me calling every single day and no answers until finally 21 days later we are told my mom has a surgery date, I get a text!!!! a text saying your mom is scheduled for surgery May 28 at St Francis at 7:30!!! no other instructions, well I call St Francis May 24 worrying that because there hasn’t been any pre-op tests done the surgery will be delayed.....I am able to get pre-op department on the phone and to my surprise surgery was canceled and the dr was told this but we weren’t!!! According to St Francis her medical plan wasn’t covered at that hospital, I called the dr and again “I will send him an email and he will call you guys back” well this time he calls and tells my mom “I wont be able to perform surgery, you will have to wait for another dr and make an appointment, thank you and have a nice day” Really? you treat a cancer patient this way? no empathy whatsoever, no humanity, no care......my mother has waited months with this diagnose and she is dying of pain daily, bleeding daily and as a doctor you just waste her time!!!! He is just careless, if he is so busy as they make it seem(to excuse the lame behavior and treatment) then don’t accept new patients! Dr. Im oversaw my hysterectomy (supposedly, I was knocked out). I was told my small cancerous tumor was contained to the uterus, “we got it all, no further treatment.” Here I am 7 months later, stage 4 (granted he never really told me what stage it was, he hasn’t told me much period.) The only things i heard, the first time we really met at a follow up was “… oh yeah, the cancer is back. You need chemotherapy. You NEED chemotherapy.” That’s the kind of compassionate talk you’ll get. In his favor, he did get me started on chemo at a center quickly. Out of his favor, I’ve had 3 treatments, he’s never come in to check on me, never asked how I am tolerating everything, never called or had anyone call to check on me. I hear and see other chemo patients speaking with their concerned doctors about what’s going on and why.. you WONT get that from Dr Im. I haven’t anyway. Do not recommend.

Dr. Im is the sweetest and most caring doctor, ever! When I was first diagnosed with endometrial cancer, he was very encouraging and kind and truly helped me understand what I was dealing with. He made it so easy to communicate with him and always remained positive. I was never afraid or intimidated about going to see him.

My experience with Dr. Im is over the top ratiing available. Best doctor I have ever gone too. Takes his time with you and explains everything in an easy way to understand. Felt very uncomfortable with him

I had a very positive experience with Dr Im and his team. The receptionist was very friendly and took her time to explain each form I needed to complete. She even took the time to look something up for me regarding insurance online. Dr Im made my first experience meeting with an ocologist very peaceful.
