Very caring and knowledgeable Dr. Highly recommend him for knee issues.

In 2019 I had knee surgery by Dr. Goldstein. They explained the issue and what my options were. We discussed what would be best for me and surgery went great. Recovered ahead of schedule. I am back now to have them repair my shoulder. Highly recommend!!!

Love Dr. Goldstein and his staff! They did a phenomenal job on my shoulder and are always so kind and willing to help! Dr. Goldstein is a great Christian man who truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Goldstein replaced my right knee and two years later replaced my left knee. During rehab of both knees, therapists repeatedly told me what a "good knee" I had. I knew all knees are pretty much the same - what made it good was the skill of the surgeon. Thank you Dr. Goldstein!

We had a great visit and Dr Goldstein’s was very professional.

Dr Goldstein was very thorough with explaining the situation and options of surgery. He answered all the questions with patience and never seemed to be in a rush or a hurry to exit the room. He made us feel as if we were the only patient he had and that we were the most important, as well.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Goldstein for several years now. He has not only made me feel comfortable with him as my doctor but I trust him completely as my surgeon, too. He doesn’t beat around the bush and is always honest about recovery and the extent of any injuries I’ve had. I trust him with my health completely.

I have trusted Dr. Goldstein as my orthopedic surgeon for many years. Today's visit was excellent just like the first time I visited his office. He is concerned about my health and always explains my condition in everyday terms that are easy to understand. He has always given me choices on how to treat my specific situations. This has allowed me to make the best decision for me to maintain a good quality of life.

Dr. Samuel Goldstein caused my leg to be amputated after an intra-op infection during a total knee replacement. When I was discharged the wound was gushing fluid but he sent me home anyway. Then he refused to see me because my insurance had changed. When I tried to politely discuss it with him he hung up on me. No orthopedist in my hometown would see me because they felt ethics demanded that he stand by his own surgery. He has never admitted wrongdoing. By the time nickle sized pustules erupted all over my leg I was nearly dead from the infection. After four surgeries it required an amputation to save my life. I posted a negative review at Andrews Sports Nedicine Clinic where he works and the owner replied that s/hewas sorry I “felt” I had a negative experience there. I am now confined to a wheelchair, cannot stand and cannot find a job because I cannot get my wheelchair in and out of the car by myself. I have no family and virtually no help. Yes, I “feel” my negative experience every day of my life. He only cares about profit, the patient be damned and should lose his license. I saw Dr. Goldstein for a total knee replacement that became infected intra-op. He sent me home despite the fact my wound was gushing fluid. He refused to see me afterwards as the infection grew worse because my insurance had changed. Orthopods in my home town refused to see me because they felt ethics demanded he stand by his own surgery. When I tried to politely discuss the matter with him he hung up on me. When I posted a negative review at his workplace site, Saint Andrews Sports Medicine Clinic at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham Alabama the owner posted a reply stating s/he was sorry I “felt” I had a negative experience there. I feel pain every day and they have minimized my suffering. By the time nickle sized spots all over my leg were streaming pus I was nearly dead. It took four surgeries plus an amputation to save my life, and I spent six months in the local hospital. He ruined my life. I was in the top ten% of my profession and can no longer find a job because I am confined to a wheelchair, cannot stand and am unable to get my wheelchair in and out of the car without help. I have no family and virtually no help. He should have his medical license revoked. It’s too late for me but please save yourselves from this incompetent. Negative stars. Dr. Goldstein has taken great care of our family for 20 years—6 knee surgeries and 1 broken arm repair. We highly recommend Dr. G for orthopedic medical care.

Dr. Goldstein explained my procedure before surgery in laymen terms so that I could understand. He told me of a new procedure that could make my recovery faster. He is easy to talk to.

Had torn my ACL for a second time. I arrived at Andrews Sports Medicine and was greeted by a very nice person directing me to an automated sign in station. After only waiting 20ish minutes I was escorted back to X-ray then on to Dr. Goldstein’s hall. I was met by Troy then Jenny, his PA...both so incredibly nice and warm. Once Jenny did an exam, Dr. Goldstein then came in. I can honestly say he is one of the nicest people I have ever met! He was so welcoming and I felt like he genuinely cared. As someone that is very familiar with orthopedic surgical procedures and doctors...he hands down is the best! His bedside manor is a 10! The entire staff is amazing! In February of 2015 Dr. Goldstein did a total knee replacement on my right knee. Based on my flexibility & recovery time, rehab folks kept commenting on how I 'really had gotten a good knee!' Two years later I went back and Dr. Goldstein replaced my other knee with similar results. I have great strength and flexibility in both knees - what more could one ask?! Knee replacement and rehab is not easy (I'm in my early 70's), but if Dr. Goldstein does the surgery and you do the rehab, you'll be good to go! Dr. Goldstein repaired my torn shoulder labrum . I followed up with PT through ATI. It was a great experience from start to finish. Dr. G was very straight-forward and personable. He had my best interest at heart and helped me make the right choice for me. There was no pressure from him to choose one option over the other, he simply gave me the information I needed and then supported my decision. He is down to earth and not egotistical at all. One couldn't find a better physician and surgeon. He's very easy to talk to, he spends as much time with you as needed and addresses your concerns in a very thorough and non technical manner so that you fully understand what is and will take place with your surgery. My total knee replacement procedure must have been right on the money as I was able to breeze through the post op physical therapy program very easily. Dr Goldstein did my total knee replacement. The procedure went well and rehab has been good. He was very attentive to the follow up and continues to check on progress ( I am 5 months post op).

Dr. Goldstein is the BEST! Had surgery on my dominant shoulder and had never had surgery in my life. Was so afraid it would never be or feel normal again. It’s awesome. Can’t tell I ever had surgery. Went back for other shoulder and he said he wanted to be conservative and send me to PT before considering surgery. Sent me to best PT and that shoulder is doing great now too. Dr Goldstein has been my surgeon for 6 years . Two rotar repairs and both knees Love him . Would not ever consider going to anyone else Awesome bedside manner

Dr. Goldstein is great! He is detailed in his explanation of injury and treatment requirements. His bed side manner is fantastic I wish all Doctors could be as pleasant when delivering good or bad news. He has treated my dUghter and I both through the years and will always look to him first for advice and treatment. We love Dr. Goldstein!

I would certainly recommend Dr. Goldstein. He is a great Dr. that takes the time to explain everything and answer all questions on a level that you understand. Comparing my knee surgery results to others I know and work with, I know I made the right decision using him. My knee is so much better, I have been able to do what I want, and most of all.... I can sleep all night! No more waking up in pain. He is very responsive after surgery for any issues or concerns. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Goldstein performed 3 different procedures on my shoulder. His diagnosis was right on target. His surgery was effective. He watched over me and followed up on me. I am extremely satisfied and am lucky to have found him!
