Dr. Goyal was referred to me by my breast surgeon. She and my breast surgeon worked together as a team during my double mastectomy and direct to breast implants surgery. I met with Dr. Goyal twice before my surgery - for a consultation and to discuss detail plans for the reconstruction. She was very reassuring and answered all of my questions about the process. I felt at ease going into the surgery and could not be more pleased and happy with the results of my reconstruction. After my surgeries, Dr. Goyal continued to review my implant progress with follow appointments. Dr. Goyal not only has an amazing bedside manner, she partners with you as a patient to develop a treatment plan that is safe, reasonable, and will ultimately have the best outcomes. Dr. Goyal successfully performed one of my surgeries a couple of years ago and when she relocated, I followed her to her new location; because she is absolutely worth it. Hello! I am very excited to share my experiences with the services of Dr. Samita Goyal. Due to a traumatic accident with my left hand ring finger, the tip of it was amputated by my car door’s handle. Dr. Goyal was the plastic surgeon and after examination and consensus, she did a thenar flap procedure. Through my faith, I was calm throughout the experience, though surprising, because of its seriousness. That surgery is not usually done on patients over 35 and/or with chronic health issues as I have, and diabetes and my age, 57 were at the top of the list. Dr. Goyal was patient, displayed a calm demeanor, and was very knowledgeable. The great thing is that her youthfulness is a huge plus! She has all the current training and experiences necessary to conduct favorable outcomes, as mine was. I didn’t know if my nail would grow back as about 1/3 of my finger tip and nail were gone, and the entire nail bed was crushed, But the procedure was successful! Per my follow up appointments and with her guidance, my finger tip was re-grown through the thenar flap procedure. It was a scary and concerning situation, but under her care, I recovered; my nail grew back, and I can get my nails done!! Yayyyyy!!! Seven months post-surgery, my nail bed is consistently growing. Dr. Goyal’s willingness to support me, and demonstrate an awesome skill set with such a serious surgery, only exemplifies her mastery of her profession. I will be forever grateful to her; her kind and sincere demeanor allowed me to believe anything is possible, and especially with a great doctor! I’ve uploaded some photos of my journey. I had great services from beginning to end for a follow appointment regarding my breast reduction. It was a really easy process. I waited probably 10 minutes for my appointment. August 2021 , I had a breast reduction due to serve back pain. If you’re looking for a a GREAT doctor… this is the place. I was so pleased to be recommended to Dr Goyal. I had breast cancer in my right breast and was initially told not to do reconstruction HOWEVER I did it and she has made me feel so whole and beautiful again. I love how everything has healed and I'm currently under radiation and it still looks great! Her hands are BLESSED!! Dr. Goyal was referred to me by one of Richmond's top breast cancer surgeons to perform reconstruction after tumor removal. She listened to me and provided surgical options and insight. My surgery was performed at St. Mary's Hospital where she worked in tandem with my breast surgeon. She is caring and has a wonderful bedside manner. I am pleased with her surgical work and post-operative attentiveness. I would most certainly recommend Dr. Goyal. I received a breast reduction from Dr.Goyal. She was so sweet and professional throughout my whole reduction process. She educated me more about the procedure before it took place as well as any pros or cons that may have came with it. She was extremely thorough with all of the information provided to me. I have breast cancer and was referred twice to Dr. Goyal to do my breast reconstruction. I was so impressed with how my breasts look right after surgery. Dr. Goyal inserted the right breast lower and larger so that when I do radiation, the breast will shrink evenly to the left side. She also brought my breast in and they look more lifted which I love. Leading up to the surgery, Dr. Goyal has been the only person to tell me the risks with surgery, medications, etc. which really mentally prepared me and kept me in the “know”. She’s answered all of my questions and responded to all of my emails in a timely manner which is so important to someone who is going through cancer treatment and surgery. I’m totally impressed by the after care as well. She used exparel while I was under and I literally couldn’t feel pain until 2-3 days after the surgery. She also stitched well, glued on top, then put another layer of protection over my breasts and drains so I can shower safely! Dr. Goyal also visited me in post op to talk about what she did during surgery and aftercare. She really loves the work she does and prioritizes her patients. So I had dr Goyal as one of my cancer team, then I must say I was very please. She has excellent bedside manners and will go above and beyond for you. Her kindness is impeccable, her care for her patients is excellent above and beyond. I love her to death and we recommend her to all of my family and friends I still talk about her to this day. Matter fact I gave three people from work her phone number that needed reconstruction or a mild tummy tuck . And I must say after all I’ve been through with breast cancer my pain level was low and she will tell you I had about 5 to 6 surgeries dealing with breast cancer.
