I would never, ever recommend this person. NEVER.
His license has disciplinary action against it and is not renewed for controlled substances either.
I had surgery by Dr. Bittar 8 years ago and he ruined my life. I almost bled to death and instead of calling an ambulance or admitting to a hospital, Dr. Bittar sent me home. I never received proper medical attention and have suffered the devastating consequences for the past 8 years as a result of the butchering job Dr. Bittar did on my body. He himself admitted to the fact that I lost so much blood during surgery that he was going to call an ambulance. Instead after almost five plus hours in surgery he told me to go to his office. Why? Why didn't he just send me to the emergency room? Because this would have resulted in medical malpractice instead I've now suffered for 8 years of my life ruined because he butchered me to death. I died on that operating table at Ingalls Same Day Surgery Center and now my life is completely ruined. RUN from this butcher. He is not a surgeon. Went there 3 years ago to get a price for work. I paid what they told me the consultation fee would be and that was that. 3 years later they send a bill saying I owe more money. I told them I paid exactly what they said I owed three years ago. Not enough, now they want more. I asked them if they told me incorrect amounts the first time and that's why I owe more and they never responded and just turned me into collections.
