I really like working with Dr Sattler. She is very patient and always willing to work with me no matter what it is Im facing. She helps me out with paperwork and is very kind as we talk through it.

Scheduled an annual wellness visit in December 2021 as required by my insurance for premium discounts in 2022. Dr Sattler wasn't available so I was seen by a PA in her office. When I arrived and checked in the attendant verified no co payment was needed. This is standard for our insurance for annual wellness visits. When I was seated in the exam room the PA came in and gave me the standard check up. While there he rattled off the list of medications on my file and I informed him there was one I hadn't taken for several years. He looked and agreed the prescription hadn't been renewed for a long time and said he would just delete that from my chart. I reminded him i needed the visit coded as an annual wellness visit for my insurance and he assured me he would code it that way. We finished by me going downstairs to do the standard lab work required for the wellness visit and I left. Fast forward 2 months and I received a $15 bill for a standard office visit. Although annoyed, it didn't seem worth the effort to call and argue the point so I sent in a payment. A couple of weeks later, I received another bill. This time I called. I was told that although I had scheduled an annual wellness visit, it had changed to a standard Dr visit while I was there because the PA had consulted with me on medications, back pain and various other topics. As it turns out, he billed my insurance for things that never occurred on that visit. The back pain was noted as a prior visit a month or two before that with my Primary Care physician. It was resolved before my visit with the PA and not part of my wellness visit. The medication consultation referenced and billed was me saying I don't take that medication and haven't for years, take it off my chart. I've been a patient of Dr Sattler for years and have nothing but good things to say about her. What the PA is doing though in this case seems nothing short of insurance fraud. Very disappointed in the dishonesty of the PA in this case and will most likely change my primary care physician over the matter. Very attentive, responsive, listen’s to your concerns and takes you seriously. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Sattler. Highly recommend her as a physician.

She seems to be missing some signs of problems with me.

Scheduled a yearly check up for my son. While in the office was asked about the medication he was taking. Spoke a few moments about the medication. Get a bill in the mail from the Dr office. Charged me EXTRA because we discussed the meds SHE put him on. I will NOT be going back, she also has a horrible bed side manner.

Great provider, very detailed visits with her and she is very companionate and helpful with her patients. Office visits, I don’t find myself having to wait forever to be seen. Bottom line is... this office is all about getting their co-pay money for short doctor's visits before they will help their patients get the medications they need to feel better. It's seems more important than their oath to do no harm. If you have health issues please find another professional that will treat you better.

She is always very thorough.

Excellent! I’ve been seeing her for several years. If she has any fault, it’s working for a big medical company. Any negative reviews can be attributed to the way our medical system operates. The company wants to get patients in and out or turn those tables as they say in the restaurant industry. They offer medications, interpret lab results, and give referrals to specialists for conditions requiring more expertise. You wouldn’t go to a GP for brain surgery, right? The days of running to fetch doc baker to take care of everything are long gone, get used to it.

Like the other reviews I just read, Dr. Sattler is unwillingly to discuss options. She doesn’t seem to know much and will only refer to a specialist instead of trying to help you for the reason you visited her.

Sad excuse of a doctor. Went in to see this doctor after having chest, nasal congestion, and a general unwell feeling for over 2 weeks. My normal GP, who is excellent and detailed, was unavailable. This lady looked in my nose and said it was inflamed, listened to my chest and said it was fine, and then sent me on my way. She also stated that I don’t look sick. I felt as if I was back in grade school faking an illness and trying not to get caught. She honestly spent a couple minutes with me at most. One week later symptoms still did not go away and I was diagnosed with flu type a. I will be following up with this complaint to corporate for such an incompetent doctor. Sad excuse of a doctor. She is unwilling to help and is not knowledgeable of common health conditions

I have been seeing Dr. Sattler for many years but I dread going to see her now. There is always some sort of issue with the office staff or billing. She will never talk price for services in the office, passes off any of these issues to her office staff, and refuses to return a simple phone call unless it is a medical question. Mostly she will just send a repsonse via their app for medical issues. As a physician she is nice and pleasant when you see here in person. She is not an independent doctor and is an employee of SSM. As an employee of SSM, she does take every opportunity to upsell you services within the SSM network. This is instead of handling management of your health herself. As I mentioned before she will refuse to return your call and will not deal with any issues such as incorrect billing or over charges. I had an appointment scheduled for 11:20 and I show up at 11 per their instruction. They changed my appointment without telling me til 11:45 so now I have to sit and wait. This is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. I have never seen this type of service before and thankfully I do not have my infant with me. Their urgent care services are even worse. They wouldn’t even examine me and sent me to the hospital. The hospital said there’s no reason she couldn’t do an exam and didn’t need to go to hospital. What a JOKE! Far from good. I switched to her after my SSM Primary stopped seeing patients. From the start she didn't have an interest in my health. She basically wanted to prescribe more medication rather than help find the source. 3 months after filling my prescriptions she refused to fill them stating she didn't know that I was being treated for the condition. When I have been being treated for this same condition for nearly 10 years. Currently looking for a better doctor!

Easygoing, listens, and overall wants to help you be well. Intelligent women and great physician.

I should have heeded the advice of others and looked for another doctor, however I kept my appointment based on convenience alone...not a best practice when looking for a PCP. I imagine for a routine checkup, Dr. Sattler may fit the bill, but if you're looking to have a discussion/conversation regarding healthcare, look elsewhere. Now I understand why it was so easy to schedule an appointment with relatively short notice. I was asked to find another doctor better suited for my "personality".

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Sattler for about 10 years now. She has been great. She listens to you and does not make you feel rushed. Also, something that is important to me is that she remembers us when we come in. Sometimes you see a Dr. and every time feels like the first time you have met.

Well I think Dr. Sattler is terrific. After being frustrated with my past Doctor, I switched to SSM. Having visited with Dr. Sattler,...I'm happy with her level of Care both in terms of Intellect & Bed Side Manner. I have seen a lot of Doctors,...She ranks among the best. Smart, efficient and kind. I went to her after a car accident. I was in a lot of pain shortness of breath heart rate 115 blood pressure 144/80. I have a history of svt tachycardia and had a heart eblation. She acted like I was an inconvenience put me on volume said I was having ANXIETY!!! I asked her a course of treatment she asked me what I thought. She was very negligent in my treatment no ct scan Mri or maybe refer me to my cardiologist. I left there feeling hopeless. She overlooked the obvious WHIch was my HEART.

If you are looking for a traditional doctor that wants to simply push pills, she may be OK, but every time I've tried to discuss functional therapies with and vitamins that my previous doctor recommended, she simply shook her head and told me that doesn't work. Part of the poor rating is probably because I really liked my previous doctor because he would openly discuss alternatives from strictly taking drugs with me, but I was forced to change because of insurance. I have switched again.
