It used to be a very reasonable business. Stereotypes patients by their insurance.

Staff were unprofessional and argued with one another in patient areas. They were yelling at the top of their voices and made me uncomfortable. Since there are multiple locations, figured I would switch from Hopewell to Colonial Heights since it is nearby. The same thing, as the officer manager was there on that day as well and she would go back and forth between locations. Did not return because I didn't want to hear arguing when I was already nervous seeing the dentist.

Just had my first experience there yesterday. Really a nice group of people. Penny up front helped me get sorted out. Lindsey did my cleaning and Dr.English is about a fine a man as you’d want to meet. Throughly impressed. Glad I changed to his office.

If anyone is looking for a dentist, avoid Dr. English in Williamsburg and West Point. I have been having issues with a billing problem that they admitted was their mistake 6 months ago. They won't call me back no matter how many messages I leave them and actually went to the office twice in the last month trying to get this resolved. They said they would get back to me 2 weeks ago and Saturday I got notified they sent me to collections. I called today and asked to speak with Dr. English himself and was told by a lady in his office that he never calls anyone back so good luck. What a way to run a business!

Very unprofessional. They clearly need to train their staff on how to cancel/reschedule appointments. I always call ahead to reschedule/cancel appointments. One of their staff didn’t mark it correctly in the computer but now I’m no longer a viable customer?! Then they want to say it’s due to them not taking a certain type of insurance at the moment. I wouldn’t waste your time at this place. It was more of a convenience with it being in town. Nothing but a headache now. Place is a joke. Very unprofessional. Older receptionist is very rude. She has an attitude as soon as she sat down to schedule a return appointment. The dentist ( Zhou) seemed to not know any of the questions asked.

I would not recommend this practice to anyone. From the first appointment we had my husbands hygienist treated him terrible and argued with him about the time the appointment was scheduled by their staff. He had a root canal done only for it to crack after being done. None of the X-rays I had done turned out. Would definitely not recommend!!!!!!!

Truly the worst dentist office I have ever visited. Employees do not care about the wellbeing of the patient and want everything done on their own time. Terrible dentistry environment
