Mr. Salvatore F Salfi

I needed a referral for help. He was rude, threatened to call the police to take me to the hospital then hung up on me. I called the Bridge Center, who arranged for a call in 2 days. They couldn't have been nicer. Salfi made me feel thopeless

His overall demeanor was horrific. He left me feeling worse than when I went in. On top of it, he supplied me with fistfuls of drugs that did me no good - and some genuine harm. Avoid.

I went to see Dr. Salfi in 2019 -- after suffering from a form of PTSD. It was the singular worst experience with a doctor I've ever had in my life. This is also the first negative review I've left in my life. I usually only leave feedback if I have something good to say -- be it a doctor, restaurant or store. I figure everyone has a bad day and that it's better to be postive than negative. But his manner and his lack of empathy were so off-putting -- I still can't quite believe I let myself follow his advice (which turned out to be disastrous). I'm just sharing my experience. It was not good.

Very professional and knowledgeable in his area of expertise. Easy to talk to and get good feedback. Has helped me tremendously.

Skilled Nurse Practitioner that works holistically with his patients especially those with complex trauma. Mr. Salfi went above and beyond with assisting me with stabilizes my manic episodes.

I have been to psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers since 1981 and none of them was able to help me. However, with Mr. Salfi's superior diagnostic skills and knowledge of the mental health field, I feel better at the age of 66 than at any other time of my life. He has worked with me to find the prescriptions and dosages that best benefit me and sees to it that I continue to thrive under his treatment. I recommend him without reservation.

Unwilling to listen to anything you have to say. Prefers talking about himself and running up the clock. Has no empathy whatsoever. Cannot remember anything about his patients. Not observant, does not pick up on physical or verbal queues that should be noted by a mental health practitioner. He also makes you feel judged. If you are looking for someone to relate to your issues and properly prescribe, this ain't your guy.

Skilled clinician that works well with a person living complex trauma

His temperament is not well suited for treating patients with chronic mental health issues. He becomes impatient and unwilling to listen. Can become argumentative rather quickly. It can feel as though you are being bullied rather than treated by someone who is empathetic and is well schooled on various mental health diagnoses. Seems to be more interested in making money than treating patients with complicated situations.
