Dr. Sally Jo Belcher

In the waiting room waiting forever for a blood draw

I needed a new primary care physician after moving to the area. I chose Dr. Belcher after reading positive reviews and confirming she took my insurance. Dr. Belcher is great - no appointment seems rushed and she is happy to discuss any and all concerns. However, the staff and the office itself leave much to be desired. Getting staff to return phone calls for results or speaking to them in the office has routinely been a disappointing experience. Although staff have not been rude to me directly, I have noted while waiting that many patients are dealt with rudely - it is clear the front desk staff regards them as more of a nuisance than patients to be appreciated. Additionally, reaching anyone in the office over the phone is incredibly difficult. Messages left both by myself and by other providers utilized by the office are routinely not returned, even if urgent. I really like Dr. Belcher but the treatment by her staff has me considering looking for a different provider.

Dr. Belcher took over my visits after the retirement of one of her practice colleges. During my first visit for an annual physical, I found her polite, thoughtful, and asking good questions to learn more about my general health and lifestyle. She listened and made sound recommendations for improving or continuing my good health practices, explaining options. She took the time to do the job. I couldn't ask for more than that.

Dr. Belcher is the GREATEST! I had ingrown toenails. A podiatrist cut them and told me to file them every night. There was nothing to file! I started to have terrible pain in them. I went to Dr. Belcher. She said I needed to soak them at least 3 times a day in warm water. She was shocked that the podiatrist did not tell me this information. My toes stopped hurting. I went to her a couple more times. She is kind and so SMART! She will usually be able to see you if you call that day.

Dr Belcher is such a kind doctor. Highly recommend!

I am her patient for 10 years , she's the best . I always recommend to family and friends .

I saw Dr. Belcher twice. I experienced long waits in the waiting room for my appointment, an uninterested and rude front staff checked me in. Both visits were brief; first for an initial visit at which tests were ordered. At the second visit, I was given lab results. The total for the two visits was over $700.00. Three months after the second visit billing charges began appearing that are unexplained appearing inspite of my calls to the service. I would NOT recommend this doctor or the office.
