I have been waiting almost 3 weeks for a call back to get a test for my Vertigo. I left the office feeling the same. I have called the office numerous times, cant get in touch with DR. at all or her staff. Even called today was on hold for 35 minutes. I cant get in touch with anyone. They keep stating I will get a call back. Terrible service.

Dr. Hesse is good and the attention I received initially was ok BUT after that every follow-up I tried to drover the phone is impossible. Some things did not happen as they requested so to talk to a Doctor or MA is impossible. I called twice and waited online for 20 minutes each time just to be told they can't help me. To ask a question I have to make an appointment and spend $50 copay and half my day. Just seems ridiculous that you can talk to someone to ask a simple question. Instead now I have no doctor and have to fend for myself and figure things out on my own. They could make more of an effort to help. I am very disappointed and feel that I don't matter.

Waited over an hour to be seen even though I arrived on tome. I'm sure that if I had been an hour late for my appointment, i wouldn't have been seen!!

Been trying to call the office and have been on hold for over 20 minutes per call. The first time they gave me the wrong information. The second time no one picked up. The third time they hung up on me. How do you leave patients on hold for this long each time?

2/9/2023- There is nothing worse than a physician that believes they are more important than the patient. I had a 10:30 appointment, I pre-registered and provided my information. Since I am also a working professional with a doctorate, at 9:45 I called to make sure that the doctor was running on time and advised them I do not hang around in physician waiting rooms. They told me to come in that I would have no wait. I arrived at 10:15, checked in and reminded the receptionist of my call. She checked the computer and said that the doctor had 2 patient in front of me. I asked again, is the doctor running on time, and reminded her that I will only wait until 10:45 before leaving. She acknowledged this and I took a seat in the waiting room. At 10:46, I went up to the window and let them know I was leaving due to the doctor failing to keep the appointment and they ar not to bill my insurance or credit card. I then left.

This is the worst the wait time is ridiculous. I had an appointment with Dr. Hesse which she is a great doctor. My appointment was at 3:45pm. I was there at 3:35pm. After waiting a hour the lady a the window tells me I need a referral. Normally they tell you that when they schedule your appointment. She barely speak English.

The doctor was great. The waiting room though is a little too small. Everything else went great.

Met with the Dr. once, seemed very nice and knowledgeable. Wish I could say the same about the staff. Had interest in the INSPIRE procedure which takes the place of a CPAP machine. After getting bloodwork done, getting clearance from cardio, clearance from primary, getting chest xray and covid test, I was at the hospital yesterday to find out that the procedure hadn't as of yet been approved by my insurance. I asked that this be done before I do ANYTHING!!!! I immediately called the office to speak to Sabrina as I wanted to discuss why my insurance company had not been contacted (was told this by the hospital) and she was not available and was told they would send her an email of HIGH IMPORTANCE to respond to. Didn't hear from her at all yesterday, sent an email today stating that I wanted to cancel the procedure. Approx 10 min after sending the email, I received a call from here stating she received my email and wants to confirm I want to cancel and I say yes and her response is "ok thanks" and hangs up. Not are you ok, is there a reason why you want to cancel etc etc. This is a joke to say the least. Do your homework, do your due diligence!!!! Horrible. I have been suffering with a sinus infection/smell in my nose for about 6 months. Dr. Hesse tells me it could be a tumor BEFORE RULING ANYTHING ELSE OUT. She takes a culture and as it turns out (if it wasn't for QUEST emailing me my results) I HAVE A BACTERIAL INFECTION. It's called Klebsiella aerogenes. A WEEK HAS GONE BY and SHE NEVER called with my results, no follow up, no recommendation based on this infection. I decided to go to another ENT who reviewed the results, told me that he sees a colonization of bacteria in my nose (and she did a nose endoscopy and SAID NOTHING) HE immediately me put on a nasal antibiotic to get this cleared up. Hesse is unprofessional incompetent and unfriendly. I don't recommend at all.

Dr. Hesse is a knowledgeable doctor and I appreciate her addressing my allergy issues - however - they overbook and are disrespectful of patient’s time. I’ve had two appointments changed, one canceled 25mins before my appt. time! The two times I was seen without a change in my appt, I waited an hour to be seen. I gave this office numerous chances. I know we all run late once in a while, but at this point I’m tired of the disrespect. I will take my business elsewhere. Best ear doctor i had in my life

I was very impressed with Dr. Hesse. I have Sjogren's and went to Dr. Hasse's office due to a ultrasound that showed some masses. I was seen very quickly. Dr. Hasse was very knowledgeable and thorough and I would highly recommend her.

She seemed nice enough and absolutely eluded that she knew what she was doing, but I am deformed for life. I wouldn't put anyone through this.

The doctor is great. But the office help and nurses are some of the worst I have ever seen.

Wonderful person, gentle and knowledgable doctor. The office staff is nice. She has been treating my husband's cancer with excellent results!

Waited HOURS for scheduled appointment, I met with Dr. Hesse, who did her best to ignore my input. Obvious issue - blocked salivary duct / persistent infection. She determined surgery as necessary & offhandedly called it a 15min procedure. Scheduled @ outpatient clinic in which she had a "financial interest". (Disclosed, by law, on the day I showed up for the procedure!) Procedure was never fully discussed - Had Afrin (spray cap off) POURED into my nose / sinuses as prep for nasal intubation, deemed necessary because I was placed under GENERAL ANESTH. Oral surgery was a simple incision and extraction. Intubation caused serious bleeding. When being discharged, 5 hours after I registered (15 min procedure?) no one even questioned the bleeding sinuses; incision wasn't bleeding - OK to go. I was coughing and spitting up blood in the parking lot. Sinuses bled for 2 weeks - voiced concerns to office - got a call back from Hesse 6 weeks later. Wretched MD. Totally focused on building revenue

second visit to the Hollywood office. First visit was a long wait. Second visit saw me right away. Office staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Hesse fixed my problems both times. Dr. is caring and very good at problem solving. Long way to travel from Deerfield Beach but would go to no other ENT.

We have been patients of Dr. Hesse's for several years and followed her to her latest location in Hollywood. The staff is always courteous and professional. Dr. Hesse's assistant (nurse Katie) greets us with a smile and is welcoming and patient. My Mom is 90 years of age and feels very comfortable with Dr. Hesse. She is knowledgeable and will answer questions with confidence. Today we also met the audiologist for the office (Brenda) who was a pleasure to speak with as well. She was able to "clean" a small area in Mom's hearing aides saving me time and money from having to travel back to where we purchased them. We thought they were broken but it turns out it was a super easy fix. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Hesse and her staff. You are in good hands. Dr. Hesse is the best ENT and head and neck surgeon in Florida. I am Blessed by her talent. She saved my life 3 years ago. She is an incredible surgeon and ENT doctor.

WOW ... talk about not even good customer service , just called and asked if anyone can see me I have a bad ear problem . Sorry Doctors are all busy this week . That it ... Glad I did not go to them . If this is how they treat people I can only imagine how that office is run .

Dr Hesse has to be one of the best ENT doc i.have seen. She's brilliant. Her office staff on.the other had lack professionalism. They are not friendly and rude. The long wait is super stressful. My last visit I waited 2 hours. I complained to the office manager and she had an attitude.

Dr. Hesse was fabulous with my young daughter who was terrified to have her tonsils removed. She was reassuring and my dghter had no sore throat. Staff perfect. All went well.

Felt very unwelcome as soon as we walk in. No hello or welcome or even a smile on the face. It would be nice if a curiosity call was given knowing we spent 2 hours waiting from our appointment time. I would not recommend this place. Not a good experience.

Dr. Hesse was hired by memorial hospital west to examine me while I was admitted. 1. In her written assessment, she kept referring to a visiting guest as my partner. I find her racist for the assumption, but it does explain why dr. Hesse kept speaking to my guest instead of me. 2. It was very arrogant of dr. Hesse to ignore me and address my guest who just happened to be visiting 3. Dr. Hesse took obvious prompts from the unskilled and novice hospitalist that is employed by memorial west in order to mislead me and my insurance company for the sake of money 4. Dr. Hesse totally agreed with the hospitalist, despite lack of examination that she claimed she did. This was reflected in Dr Hesse written report. I fired the hospitalist. And Dr. Hesse report ended up looking totally fabricated since the next hospitalist found the accurate diagnosis. My experience with dr. Hesse helped me to see that she is a part of a sick health care system that puts money over patient care. I would NEVER refer anyone to dr. Hesse. She's the best!! Very through and caring.

Highly recommended! She went above and beyond. She performed oral surgery on me and removed a malignant tumor. My outcome was far better than I expected. I can't thank her enough!

Best doctor I've ever had. She is very patient and genuine. Dr. Hesse covers all her bases with detail and care.

My child was in the ER this Saturday due to a thyroglossal duct cyst and after going to different hospitals for about 2 weeks I decided to take him to a different hospital ant that's were I meet Dr.hesse. He finally gave me calm I needed and reacted fast to my childs case. I really think she is a great doctor.

I enjoy being a patient of Dr. Hesse-- very kind, informative and knowledgeable too. She shows a passion whenever I have an appointment with her. As far as her office staff, I never had a problem/conflict with any of them, yes there is a long wait to see her, but that's because she attends to all her patients-- she never leaves you questioning or second guessing her medical standpoint and/or recommendations.

The office staff is extremely rude! If you are looking for an office that runs late, rude staff and constant interruptions during your exam then this is your place. Went once and that was one time too many!

Dr. Hesse is very thorough and meticulous in my care. She listens and explains things extremely well. I can highly recommend her.

Was referred, by my primary doctor, called to make a appointment, phone staff seems bothered and not welcoming. I will prefer to take my business elsewhere. So over, unprofessionalism.

Staff very unprofessional, rude and inefficient. Extremely long wait even for a doctors office. Proscribed two medications both I was allergic to, indifferent to the fact I am a cancer patient in need of being monitored. Very bad experience, just had to inform other patience.

i called for appointment for ear eval after a rearend collision. gave all my insirance, auto and medical. no attorney. all fine. then i got a book of forms to fill out and mostly legal bs amounting to they want my life signed in blood. no real patient care apparent but corporation paracites evident. many many docs and major horrible huge corporation and ready to lynch you if you fail to pay on exactly the day due. but my ins. would prob cover all but just in case, i wanted nothing to do with ruining my perfect credit of 60 years and scores over 800! just in case something was slipped in that is not covered and they did not tell me. so i called to speak to the billing manager to find out if my tests will be covered by my insurances. you would think i had asked to speak to the president of the country! what a miserable bunch of nasty, rude, witchy females who were locked in a control freak mode. after i was screened for top secret clearance, i was told to leave my number and they would call me back. i got a call a few hours later from who knows, but when i called there there was a line of people to put me again under interrogation. mind you, making the appointment was easy and fast. this......... well.............. what they hell is with this group? i have a right to find out what will be covered and to refuse anything that will not be covered.... but that was not my right today i guess. so the practice manager another control freak, rude, bossy, very nasty, disrespectful and when i said i had no desire to go there and put up with such abuse she was happy to cancel my appointment. i told her i was sure she did not really give a damn. and hung up. i will email them and cancel as i have no desire to even deal with that sick system again. so i now have seen a lot of complaints about the rude and nasty people there. good bye. hasta la vista, baby. too many docs in south florida to put up with crap from them. beware............... lions bite. i called for appointment for ear eval after a rearend collision. gave all my insirance, auto and medical. no attorney. all fine. then i got a book of forms to fill out and mostly legal bs amounting to they want my life signed in blood. … More

Dr. Hesse and her entire team are awesome.

I went to two other ENT's with a problem, They didn't have a clue. Dr. Hesse is the only one that could diagnose me. She saved my life as far as I'm concerned. Is a hour long wait worth your life ? You Decide
