Great place love dr.Richardson only got a 4 star because they never answer the phone.

This is the absolute worst doctor ever. He should not be working with women. He is his completely inappropriate. He was laughing and telling jokes during the exam. He has no regard for his patient’s feelings or concerns. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

Very knowledgeable of his practice. Goes above and beyond the needs of his patients. Very confidential and considerate of ones needs. Dependable, trust-worthy, supportive, educated, caring. His staff is also amazing, been to two of his business locations, always treated the same.

Best doctor ever.

I can never get ahold of his office. Wasn't really happy with last visit. Rushed in and out. Does anyone else have number to his office

If you want to be treated with very little investment and regard for your thoughts and feelings as a patient then this is the doctor for you! I visited Dr. Richardson last year as I was an already established patient with women’s health group but none of the doctors I saw on a more regular basis were available. He said my issues were hormone related due to my body adjusting with age... (I’m in my late 30’s). No ultrasound was done and recommended IUD insertion to assist in regulating my cycle/hormones as well. I was hesitant because I’ve never responded well to any form of birth control... it messes with me mentally and emotionally and not in a good way. 8-10 weeks later I asked if he’d remove it because I didn’t feel like myself... he made a snide comment that it was the day to day stressors and I was over exaggerating but he’d humor me and remove it and I’d be back to have another one inserted again... about 3-4 months later I did in fact return to tell him issues I was having and explore options for treatment... his recommendation again was an IUD... still no ultrasound to get a good idea of what’s going on with my body just diagnosing me based on his educated expertise... he said I removed the first one too early and for me to leave it in. I Reluctantly agreed to 6 months to a year to see if there was any difference... I’m approaching the 6th month mark... the pain is unbearable... I’m having to carry around heated gel pads that I tuck in my pants around my lower back and abdomen to help with the pain... I went to see him today... he examined me (again STILL NO ULTRASOUND) and said that he would not be removing the IUD... he didn’t even give me a chance to ask for it to be removed... he diagnosed me with PCOS... he went on this based on what his nurse informed him of a previous diagnosis I told her about almost 20 years ago... (I know this because despite how quietly they try to talk they held this conversation among each other outside of the doors before entering into the exam room where I was awaiting)... even though my primary care provider drew bloodwork and my hormone levels are fine (which I did make mention of this to him and yet he still disregarded me). He gave me 2 months worth of samples of birth control pills (which I can’t not take because as mentioned before they negatively affect me psychologically) and called in tramadol and said I’d be fine and walked out! He gave me no education for this... he didn’t even ask me if I was okay with taking additional birth control... and of course refusing to remove an IUD from my body taking away my right as a patient and deciding he knew what’s best based on information I gave his nurse and very little investment on his part to actually determine if in fact what is going on is actually PCOS or something else... because when I was struggling with PCOS I still didn’t experience this kind of pain and discomfort...if this is how Carolina’s Health Care system treats their patients and gives very little regard to our thoughts and feelings... I’ll pass! If anyone can point me in the right direction of who I need to file formal complaints with I’d be much appreciative of this as well! 12/22/20 I finished up my last follow up appointment with my new Gynecologist today. Essentially the IUD that Dr Richardson illegally refused to remove from my body against my wishes had triggered my PCOS to come out of dormancy and I started having cysts form on my ovaries again. Good news is, after 4 thorough visits in the last 2 1/2 months and the IUD removed, I’m no longer in excruciating pain for days and weeks at a time and the cyst is beginning to shrink! Thanks for nothing Dr. Richardson. While I know several people sing you praise, that still left you absolutely no right to refuse to remove the IUD per my request. If you want to be treated with very little investment and regard for your thoughts and feelings as a patient then this is the doctor for you! Dr. Richardson is by far the best doctor around & his staff is excellent as well. He cares about his patients and has helped me tremendously. I wouldn't go any where else. I highly recommend him to any one looking for a great obstetrician- gynecologist.

He is always upbeat and happy. The new checkin and check out at the office is not good but he is wonderful. Best doctor I have ever met. Truly caring and easy to talk to. He respects my time and my wallet and does not order unnecessary tests or rec unneeded surgeries ( both of which happened on Tate BLVD)
