Living in FL no ortho surgeon would touch my scoliosis due to the aggressive nature and excessive trauma making me disabled. One visit with Dr. Cassidy after moving to KY and he was confident. Once I discovered that he teaches ortho surgery, I felt confident as well. He made sure I went through a year of osteoporosis treatment before seeing me again, not turn and burn for money. I have never had a doctor, let alone a professing surgeon, spend so much time with me, listen intently, and even asked my recovery caregiver if they had any questions at the end of all visits leading up to and following my spinal fusion. He came to see me every morning on his way in, and most on is way out as well. My back isn't perfect, which I knew it wouldn't be going in, but it is now about 50% back to where it naturally should be, and my confidence, energy, and overall mood have also increased, which wouldn't be if not for Dr. Cassidy. He is so down to earth, and feels more like an old friend who cares deeply, and regardless of his busy teaching and surgery schedule, makes time to visit every day to comfort and answer any post op questions every day in recovery. There is no other surgeon based on my experience that I had, and will if needed again, that I would rather have provide my orthopedic care. I will always be thankful to him for making my prayers become a reality after a decade of being turned away by others.

Dr Ryan Carter Cassidy and staff, treated me with kindness and respect. March 2, I will be one year post opt from a double cervical fusion. Dr Ryan Carter Cassidy is an amazing surgeon, who I highly recommend.

Me and my wife Patricia was in a very bad car wreck on December 20, 2010 it broke my neck in three places and it broke my wife’s upper back at the T6 T7 level and destroyed her neck we were both paralyzed from it I was paralyzed on my entire right side and my wife was paralyzed from the breast bone down from our injuries Dr. Cassidy done surgery on both of ours he put two plate and eight screws in my neck on the upper fracture and lower fracture so it was all fused to gather in all three spots and could not do nothing with my upper back and he put a Harrington rod in my wife and fixed her neck as best as he could with her bone graphs we were both sent to Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation hospital in Lexington and I was able to get back up on my feed and walk again and use my right hand and right arm again and I was able to take care of my wife for the rest of her life with his help she survived the accident and lead for another 3 1/2 years I highly recommend Dr. Cassidy

Was not helpful to my paralyzed daughter. Was rude and stated he didnt know why we made an appointment with him. Will never return there!!

He is a great doctor and very knowledgeable. Can't say enough good things about him!!!

Dr. Cassidy is a very caring and personable physician. I have had two prior spinal fusions and when a situation appeared compromising my spine he immediately ordered my MRI shared his thoughts and referred me to the PMC. He did stall on my care and I appreciate that.

Went in with MRI disc and folder of the report. They made a copy of my MRI and didn't even look at my report I brought in . Did a xray and told me that all that is wrong with my spine is arthritis. No Doc that's not what all is going on with my spine . Had you looked at my MRI and my report you'd seen there are several things going on with my spine. And I'm about positive surgeons do take out damaged discs. Then I was told I'll set you up with pain specialist. This was the 9th of August 2018 and I've still not heard from them. Very good Dr. will explain any answers to your questions. Never in a rush to explain things to you!

I think Dr Cassidy is a great surgeon! I was in an accident Feb 2017 where I broke my neck at c6-c7 and also had an issue with c5-t1 and broke my clavicle. Dr Cassidy did an acdf on c6-c7 and done a wonderful job. I have a plate and 4 screws in my neck. I was expecting a much worse outcome but even though I can't turn my neck completely like I use to he explained everything on a level to where I can understand everything and took the time to answer and explain any questions I had. The staff is very friendly and got me in their office at a reasonable time any time I made appts. Thank u Dr Cassidy and thanks to your staff!!! I think Dr Cassidy is a great surgeon! This doctor is pro surgery, but says 80% of patients have complications! Recovery is at least a year, up to 2 years, may have to do time in nursing home while recovering! It was nice meeting him... Oh! And he'll be breaking my back in surgery... Could be two 8 to 10 hour sessions of surgery! How can he try to put a positive spin on this??? He is a great doctor my surgery went good on my cervical spine I'm doing good but I do have a titiaum plate with six screws in my neck can't do things I could do before but he did a good job

Very negative experience. Since my mother is older, all I heard about was preparing for her to die. It was like they didn't care. I hope my family doesn't take me there.

I had chronic severe lower back pain and right leg pain. I could no longer be active in my hobbies and I could barely put my socks and shoes on because of my pain. Dr. Carter Cassidy performed my surgery and I have zero pain and can even go back to running! He is a great surgeon, explained everything clearly and now I have zero pain!
