Dr. Tang is wonderful! She is great at explaining and letting you make your own decisions about your eye health as well as being super nice!

My recent examination and follow up recommendations for prescriptive glasses by Dr. Tang were exceptional in having excellent results for me in both areas. I have great confidence in rating her at a very superior level professionally. I also had the experience of requesting additional help from her staff after accidentally breaking the frames of my glasses. Given that the break was unusual in the type of damage done I had doubt that it could be fixed. However, Dr. Tang’s helpers were able to make the repair and required no fee for said repair. I was naturally very relieved and happy that my total experience with Dr. Tang and her staff was exceptional and deserving of much praise and positive recommendations to others.

Dr. Tang is super professional and has a genuine concern for the well being of her patients. The staff is able to address all of your questions very thoroughly and I always leave with a smile! I highly recommend.

I never thought a doctors office could provide such a warm and welcoming experience! I am truthfully blown away by their genuine care and their incredible expertise. This is the place you need to choose if you’re looking for a lifetime optometrist, or if you just needed a quick check up! I live in Long Beach, but my employer is across the street from this optometrist. I will make it a point to always return here, annually, no matter where my career path takes me. The staff was amazing, and Dr. Tang is very knowledgeable and sweet! She gave me feedback about my eye health I’ve never heard from any of my previous optometrists. Dr Tang is very professional and friendly. She really cares about her patients and tries to find what is the best for her/him. She recently purchased a new piece of equipment that is state of the art for eye examinations. This is one example of how passionate she is about her practice. I've been a patient of Dr. Tang's for over 20 years, and she is very thorough and professional. Here team has accommodated my crazy work schedule and shipped contacts to me around the country. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Tang as my eye care professional.

This place overcharged me for two pair of glasses. First they had to redo my glasses with the progressive lens 2x, and that was just the first pair which were the sunglasses. Second, they charged me to change the frames and i waited so long that they mailed me my new pair which have caused me eye pain and trouble as they are hard to view out of the lower part of the glass so badly, that i dont where them. The staff are not professional in helping pick out frames. And worse of all they mailed me the wrong frames and wouldnt correct either of they're mistakes! Total cost to me $1600.00. Been going here for years. Very friendly, fast, & professional. Slightly pricey, but due to the location being in Irvine I am not surprised.

Dr. Tang is detail-oriented, and takes time to do a thorough eye checkup. Her nurse or the lady who did initial eye checkup, was also very nice and thorough. I felt good to have chosen Dr. Tang as my ophthalmologist; her methods appeared to prioritize accuracy rather than speed and that is what a patient needs. I would recommend people to visit her for eye checkup. (For frames, the lady taking orders was rushing things. Perhaps it was lunch time for her so I can understand,perhaps too many frame orders came around that time, or perhaps it was relativity. That section could improve.) Office is nice and organized. No waiting and the exams are thorough. Everyone that works there are friendly and knowledgeable.

I see that some people have written unfavorable reviews about their experience with Dr. Tang and her practice. Of course, it's always possible. I thought I had a similar experience early on, when I consulted Dr. Tang about getting new glasses, which I'd worn since I was five years old. I was already considering having Lasik surgery, but went ahead and ordered the glasses and when I changed my mind and contacted the practice a day or so later to let them know I didn't want the glasses and wanted to move forward with Lasik surgery, I was told that the lenses had already been made and that the cost couldn't be refunded. I was angry, not with Dr. Tang or her staff, but with myself for having waffled. Dr. Toomy performed my Lasik surgery, which was complicated by the fact that I have herpes, and it has been a life changing experience, for which I have Dr. Tang to thank for encouraging me to have it done. She has been my optometrist since 2005 and has always been a consummate professional. So, be advised and heed what I say. They're your eyes. It's important who you entrust them to. Very good service. Dr. Tang is very experience, knowledgeable and very personable. I enjoy my visits, they are on-time and she takes time to explain all my questions.
