I can’t be more thankful enough for this office. I just had my second baby delivered by Dr. Haskins. Her staff and Nurse Jennifer treated me so well for the past 9 months, I loved all my monthly visits. Dr Haskins provided me the best delivery care! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. ❤️

Dr. Haskins was so incredibly respectful of our family's wishes for the most natural childbirth possible, and handled complications in our birthing process with such grace and fluidity that we felt perfectly safe. I cannot recommend her enough.

Dr. Haskins is incredible Doctor. She is very detailed and explains all the steps within the process. She did little surgery for our son and we were amazed that our kid didn’t even cry. We are very thankful to meet her at the right time!

Worst OBGYN in Folsom!! Receptionist will hang up on you and the doctor will not show up on the day you're going to give birth. Please don't put yourself or your baby through this horrible experience with Dr. Ruth Haskins!! Ruth Haskins is discriminatory and has horrible bedside manner. Save your Baby and yourself the heartache.

Go ahead and ignore that "LGBTQ friendly" sticker they have on their google profile. I very politely asked if they would review my records prior to making an appointment with me because I am trans and would prefer my time not be wasted - I deserve medical professionals who care and want to help just like everyone else. They called 4 hours prior to my appointment to tell me they didn't want to treat me. EDIT: Since I cannot respond to the Dr.'s response to this review - I will just elucidate here that I was not told that they were incapable of treating my condition nor that they had any sort of concern for me whatsoever, as they called me less than 4 hours prior to the appointment and without me ever having spoken to the Doctor herself. I'd also like to note that the response seems to indicate the Doctor reviewed my medical file before responding to this as well as divulging that I have a specific "complaint" that requires a specialist's care to the public. (!!!) If the Doctor had taken 5 minutes to call me herself and tell me that a review of my file led her to believe my care would be better in a specialist's hands (or gosh, she could have dashed a note off to her assistant or written an email or....pretty much anything except for the very callous and cold call I received from their front desk person), I would not have written the review as I had in the first place. I recently moved to the area during my 3rd trimester and my insurance only covered a few OBs in the area under my plan. I called Dr. Haskins office to make sure they took patients at my gestation age - they did. I was so thankful because that had been the biggest hurdle in finding a provider. Then, I made sure they took my insurance and medical group. They did, but then proceeded to tell me how much extra work it is for them to bill my insurance plan and they didn’t want to have to do all that billing. Ultimately turning me down as a patient in desperate need of a provider to delivery my baby in the next few weeks. Patient care is not at the forefront of their practice. Dr. Haskins is a 10 on a scale of 5 stars. She listens, is obviously caring and compassionate, and takes time to explain her findings. She treats the whole woman, taking into consideration other conditions. My wife has other specialists for her other conditions, but Dr. Haskins is the best.

Just had my 1st visit with Dr. Haskins and I am very happy. She was very thorough and personal, answered all my questions. She made me really confortable talking about personal and private stuff. I was first seen by Dr. Haskins at 38 weeks when my baby was breech, and I was recommended for an external cephalic version. Both she and her office staff were amazing about getting me in very quickly. Upon meeting Dr. Haskins, I was instantly comforted by her thorough explanations, years of experience, and calm, reassuring demeanor. Despite the stress of having a breech baby, and my own worst fears about the procedure, she made me feel safe and secure at each step of the process. On the day of the version, she helped both my husband and I feel at ease. The external version itself was nothing short of amazing. Dr. Haskins was incredibly skilled, and after a few very short, painless minutes, my little one was turned head down. I found the procedure to be very easy, and would absolutely ask Dr. Haskins to do it again if I ever have another breech baby. My husband and I were both very impressed and comforted by the precision, confidence, and care that Dr. Haskins showed during the version. Additionally, all the staff at Mercy Folsom were incredibly kind and gave great attention to our care. She delivered my baby girl in March and she was one of the most comforting calm people I have ever met. She made giving birth easier and calmer. Couldn’t have asked for a better on call doctor:) I just loved her!

I was so scared because I am only 26 years old but she made me feel so comfortable and reassured me that everything was going to be okay. I can not be more thankful for the referral to Dr. Haskins. I feel like I had something of a unique ordinary situation and after explaining everything and discussing options with me (she even drew me a picture!), we went ahead with surgery. In my opinion, she and her office staff are outstanding in every way. THANK YOU!

By far the best experience I have had with any doctors office. Ruth is patient, kind, straight to the point, and extremely knowledgeable. She performed my c-section for my second child and completely fixed an awful keyloid scar that I had from the previous birth of my daughter. Dr. Haskins is my most favorite OB/GYN EVER. I have gone to her and her office for many years. All the staff is wonderful. But she made the exam (which is not the most comfortable thing usually), an actually fun event. No kidding! She is absolutely AMAZING! She explains everything with compassion. When you need her she gets back to you as soon as possible. I deal with anxiety and she helped ease it. She and her staff were always a joy to be around. I am beyond happy that she was there for me durring my pregnancy and for the delivery of my baby girl.
