Dr. Myers has been my Family Physician for more than 30 years. I started with him shortly after he began his practice with Midlothian Family Practice. Dr. Myers is highly skilled. I am a patient of Dr. Russell Myers and have been since a teenager living at home. I'm currently 44 years old & there is no other Physician I trust more than him. He feels like part of my family. He knows my history, and families, inside & out & I receive the best care for my health issues hands down. I feel safe & secure with Dr. Myers treatments & trust him 100% when he tries me on a new medication, knowing his Pharmacology background as well. Dr. Myers has been my doctor for many years. I decided to get out of the VIPMD last year but it did not take me long to come right back! I missed my Doc so much and all of the wonderful staff! I will never leave again. He’s the best doctor EVER!

I've been a patient of Dr Myers for well over 25 years. It's true that he is a wonderful doctor and with my multiple health issues he has helped deal with each. My only issue is the annual fee. I'm on disability so as the fee goes up, my monthly checks remain the same. Now I'm waiting for things to get worse and how I'll pay??

My husband and I have had a Doctor/Patient relationship with Dr. Myers since 1991. We are now both in our sixties. We have recommended him and the MDVIP program to many friends. We strongly believe our current good health is the result of his high-quality care, experience and medical training, Medical Specialist referral network in the Richmond area and the preventive nature or approach of the MDVIP Program. We have had serious health challenges in the recent past, and Dr. Meyers has allowed us immediate access to him, quickly identified the medical issue and adressed the problem or, referred us to a network of outstanding medical specialist who also gave us immediate access. One such specialist (Nuerologist) ask, “How did you get to see me so fast?” When we replied we did not know. He ask who our primary Physician was. We answered Dr. Russell Myers. He immediately responded, “Oh, Russ must have personally called my PA! We later learned that Nuerologist is identified as the best Surgeon in the nation for that issue. As importantly, everytime we have had a minor illness such as a sinus infection, poison ivy, etc, Dr Myers saw us the day we called. We are now looking forward to many wonderful years of retirement and feel confident any future medical needs are in the good hands with Dr. Myers.
