Dr. Russell Lewis Gombosi

We searched for a while for a good doctor who is going to walk this journey with the parents and kids. After hearing Dr. Gombosi say during our new patient check up that this is a team effort and took the time to talk through concerns we had, while giving sound advice, we left feeling like a weight had been lifted off our shoulders to find this Dr. and this practice. The receptionist, nurses and PA was phenomenal, engaged with our daughter and made us feel like family. Excited to be part of the Open Arms family. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good about Dr Gombosi and the staff he has chosen. If there is a wait, it’s minimal, and worth it. My quality of life has increased since I’ve been a patient here.

When I started to go to Dr Gombosi he really took the time to get to know our history and he ask us all the right questions as to our health ,not just looked at our records and said well things are pretty good and left it at that,he wanted to know how meds were really working for us .thank you for not treating us as numbers or cases, we are people first! My husband and I see Dr. Gombosi for our children (as their pediatrician) and as our general practitioner. We love the convenience of sharing the same doctor...and he’s a fabulous one to boot! His office is welcoming and the staff is great at answering the questions we have, either in person at appointments or via telephone. It’s pretty rare that I do reviews here on google. You have to either be really really really good or really really really bad. Dr. Gombosi is fantastic! I recently switched to Dr. Gombosi from Geisinger for my daughter’s doctor and I’m so glad I made the switch. He is so personable. So nice! He was talking to my daughter and waving which is something the other pediatrician would not do. He didn’t make me seem like a burden for bringing my girl in for a low grade fever and diaper rash that I was worried about. He really took the time to listen and helped put me at ease which is always good for a new parent!! :) the staff is so sweet and so helpful and just made the whole visit that much better!! I also enjoy that he has a Christian approach to medicine. It’s so refreshing and aligns more with my values as a parent. If that is important to you, it’s a plus for sure!!! Everyone in the office is very friendly and shows a real concern for me and the other patients. As the only doctor in this office, he relies on his staff to assist, gather information, and prepare me for the doctor to personally visit. Everyone is very competent and got to know me and my needs. Dr. Gumbosi is extremely knowledgeable about the human body and is basically a "single source" for all of my medical problems. I am a Type II Diabetic, have Adult ADD (I am always hurting myself), I have pulmonary fibrosis, sleep problems, and is helpful in advising me about my past surgeries and the causes for them. I know that if I have a health related problem I can always call or just walk in and I will be successfully treated with very little wait. Both my wife and I are glad that Dr. Gumbosi returned to Williamsport and has such a wonderful and exceptional staff.

Dr Gumbosi is an arrogant twit. If you want to be judged for your weight or because you choose to live with someone instead of getting married go to him. He's rude

When I saw that a doctor's office was opening close to my home I was excited but hesitant. It's not easy to leave the known for an unknown. It only took a phone call to make me stop and see what this new location was all about. I was greeted warmly by the secretary Ann and Dr. Gombosi. Needless to say I am now a registered patient.
