Dr. Russell F Camhi

Dr camhi I've been seeing since 2013 and honestly he's the best most kind doctor. He actually listens to you. After you tell him what's wrong he goes threw the process and finds whsts going on and actually helps you and the medical issues your facing. Honestly it's a relief to have a doctor who takes the time to treat the problem correctly his staff is amazing as well I've been to multiple locations east meadow office great neck both and there all very help im in and out hardly any wait I have severe carpel tunnel in both hands he has helped so much and the pain has decreased over time and range of motion has improved to what it was I highly recommend dr Camhi sincerely Christina s

This morning I tried to make appointment with Dr Russell Canhi and inside desk they was very nasty heawy men was in from desk hi was so arrogant and nasty,I yes walk away, personally don't recommend.

During the last 8 weeks, Had been seen by two orthopedic surgeons, none of which bothered to listen to my concerns about my problem. I decided to find another orthopedic doctor and was so fortunate that when I called northwell hosp. the person I spoke to highly recommended Dr.Camhi. I made an appt to see him.( The two orthopedic surgeons I had seen , totally disregarded my concerns as to why I was in so much pain ,.pain was radiating from bicep to shoulder. Well at different appts I was told give it time pain will go away ill see you in 6 weeks. The second doctor saids to me "oh, I agree with the orthopedic surgeon that saw you last. I told him. But he never said what was causing the pain, all he said was ill see you in 6 weeks. That's when I decided to see someone else. I went to my appt with Dr. Camhi, he did an Evaluation and with details and pics from the computer. DETAIL BY DETAIL, Explained to me what was causing the pain. That I have been enduring for 8 weeks, he gave me options, send me for physical therapy ,gave me a cortisone injection. And said if I had no improvement in weeks to come I should go back and he would send for an MRI. to find out what else is going on. With all this said and done. I am so grateful that I found an AWESOME doctor whom was willing to listen to.my concerns , explained with details and made sure I was understanding everything that was going on....Doctor Camhi, I just had one appt with you but that's all it took for me to concretely, say you are a professional, caring doctor that easily sets an example of what a great doctor should be....Thank you for taking your time and explaining my situation to me...some of us learn better thru visual explanations. I ( Joni Calichio) am a patient of Dr. Russell Camhi for years. I have never meant a doctor that really listens to his patients & a big plus is he looks at you while you are talking ( doesn't do any writing or his back to you) a down to earth doctor & fixes all the problems I had. So happy to do his job, friendly, kind, caring!!! I love going to see him, don't feel like I am in a doctors office. Believe me you won't be disappointed at all making an appointment with Dr. Camhi. I Joni Calichio meet Dr. Camhi years ago. If you are looking for a great doctor that listens to his patients and looks at you while you are talking. He is always on time with his appointment & spends time with you never rushing you. When treating you, no pain. You walk in with pain and walk out pain free.I have never meet a doctor so caring about his patients. Northwell is so lucky to have a Dr. Camhi so caring, friendly, patient, plus really listens to you. You will never see his back to you, a doctor that really looks at you face to face is rare today. You will not be sorry you made an appointment with him. I give his business card to everybody that needs him. I love to go to his office. Great doctor, he is the best!!! ??

I was seen right away and treated professionally.

The office is like a meat market. There was probably over 50 people in the waiting area. There are other doctors there but still. Getting your records...good luck! The phone call, their reception is poor and you cannot hear them well and there is so much static. I do not usually give reviews but what a disappointment.
