Cold and dismissive treatment. Don’t trust this place.

Was referred there by are primary care physician for my wife’s back and upper leg pain and she’s had a MRI , Now pain Mgt. for injections and more tests actual help is over a month away to long to wait Need a Neurosurgeon closer to home.....and faster

Two weeks ago I had foraminotomy surgery by Dr. Schrot. He is a miracle worker! The surgery was not at all painful and I have recovered easily and painlessly. The hospital staff was wonderful. Five stars to all.

I had a tarlov cyst over 20 years. I had doctors at Kaiser told me tarlov cyst does not cause symptoms. I went through physical medicine and neurosurgeon and the chief neurosurgeon at kaiser and they deny the surgery. I sent my MRI and my symptoms to Dr Schrot and he told me I am the candidate for surgery. I had a surgery on 8/29/2019 and my debilitating pain in the morning is gone after 2weeks but I still have the pain bending and sitting. After 6 weeks I still have the pain but no debilitating pain. I understand the nerve takes a long time to heal I am hoping it will get better. But I strongly recommend Dr. Schrot and actuality tarlov patients do not have much choice. I know that Dr. Schrot took the more difficult case that Dr. F. Would not take for complications. I am still learning about this disease and I am glad I had a surgery but I thought I would be out of pain by now. It seems it will take some time I had a tarlov cyst over 20 years. I had a removal of the coccyx. The doctor was kind enough to consult by phone and set up a reasonable surgery date. As others have said he was calm and encouraging and answered questions although at times he might’ve been a little more detailed. Surgery there are naturally setbacks and I did have those but a year later everything is really going well.

Having been reffered to Dr. Schrot from Dr. Picetti, Dr. Schrot is absolutely the finest Doctor I have ever had. His knowledge, bedside manner, professionalism is unsurpassed. The pain is finally gone, thanks to Dr. Schrot's expert hands and talent. I will recommend, and have recommended over and over. Thank you Dr. Schrot.

In June of last year Dr. Schrot performed an Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion on C4-C5 and C5-C6. The surgery went without a hitch. It was a long haul but Dr. Schrot after doing an excellent job on my surgery was there to guide me through recovery. I was as I told him, "freaked out" about the pending procedure but he always managed to calm my fears and I went into surgery with complete faith in his surgical abilities. I highly recommend Dr. Schrot and his staff.

I feel like a new person, thanks to Dr. Schrot. My surgery was Oct. 6th 2017. I took awhile to heal and I thought I never would. But I did and he sent me to physical therapy and that helped even more. I had spinal stenosis. He's a wonderful surgeon. I can't be happier after being in pain for 3 yrs. I've had a neck injury for over 20 years, and the last 2 neurosurgeons declined to help me. When I saw Dr. Schrot he took a look at the MRI and saw that I may not be a candidate for disc replacement. However when he heard about my pain and numbness, he took a chance and did the surgery. He saw way more degeneration in my neck than the scans indicated. I had immediate relief after the surgery. No migraines and the feeling in my fingers came back. He is amazing! I'm grateful for him.

In 2013 I had a brain decompression surgery to relief symptoms from Arnold Chiari syndrome. Fast forward alost three years later I am still experiencing the same symptoms. Had I known that I would not be feeling any different from before I never would have had the surgery. Thank you for making me your Gino
