Dr. Roy Edward Cromer

I am pregnant and was seen by Dr. Cromer today for dizziness and chest pain. After doing a HCG urine test he said that it was negative and my levels were at 0. When I asked him what it meant he said “it means that’s really weird” and insisted we do an ultrasound. I have insurance but was told it would be $600 out of pocket with little to no explanation as to why. When I refused the ultrasound order he came into the room 30 minutes later to say “the test was entered wrong” and that I was still pregnant. I sat in the room wondering if I had miscarried.. All because he wanted me to pay for that ultrasound. When I tried to ask questions he would talk over me and ignore me. I was also not treated for the symptoms that brought me in. I was very sad to read another traumatic experience from a pregnant woman from years ago in his care.

Dr. Cromer had horrible bedside manner and was not at all apologetic after making me think I lost my baby while pregnant.

My fiance got pregnant and had severe pains. She saw Dr. Cromer at the ER. He said it was a etopic tubal pregnancy and that he consulted an OB also. Dr. Cromer was going to give drugs to abort the baby the next day if her pain continued, which it not. We went to an OB two days later and the ultrasound showed her pregnancy was normal and healthy. If the abort drugs had been given, the baby would be dead or severely mentally handicapped if survived! However we now have a perfectly healthy baby.
