Dr. Roy Ashford is a pro. He deserves full confidence from all who need help. His staff is very capable. One criticism, I waited 45 minutes from the time my appointment was scheduled. I am sure many variances come up in the day of a Doctor.

Dr. Ashford was amazing. A skilled surgeon, but also a kind and inspiring caregiver.

My crazy back problems are 100% gone thanks to Dr. Ashford. I have a perfect back again!!! I can work out, swim, dance, and do everything again with zero problems or back pain. Absolutely the best doctor I have ever been to AND he really listens and is so kind. Amazing doctor!!

I was in a painful point in my life suffering with years of back issues. Thanks to the help of Dr Roy Ashford, I was able to move on with my life in great shape.

Dr. Roy Ashford is a superb doctor. He has a great sense of humor, especially for the state of my spine. I am an anatomical disaster and a superbly qualified surgeon would never touch me. Dr. Ashford supplied me with a prescription he determined might be helpful in relieving pain and we talked about platelet rich protein and/or stem cell injections as alternatives for pain killers. The negative reviewer is familiar to me. I am a nurse-specialist in another field. I have witnessed such individuals who either do not listen to the doctor and/or talk over a surgical specialist expecting a cure-all rather than opinions and guidance. I had spinal cord surgery with Dr Ashford after seeing 3 other spinal surgeons. I was only going for a consultation but because of his knowledge and expertise from our first meeting I went with him. I went into surgery barley walking and after 2 days I was able to do a mile and now nothing can stop my vigorous work outs 7 days a week. My back is stronger and pain free with no limitations... My visit with Dr. Roy was pleasant. He provided all the information I needed.

He has caused a life time of pain. If I knew then what I know now I would never have picked this man as my surgeon.

Dr Ashford has been my Dr for over 12 years and he is my go to Doctor he is patient, kind and knows how to help when you need it I love him and if you are afraid of spine surgery he is the Best Dr around I have had two back surgeries with him and have recuperated with no problems !

Dr. Ashford is a doctor who really cares about his patients and puts a100% in your treatment of care. He is very supportive and will help find the best regimen for you. Truly, a genuine doctor who will be by your side from the beginning to the end of the care. Thank you Dr. Ashford for giving me my life back.

The doctor came in with a smiling face and mentioned my issues root cause was family heredity. Then he was talk about pain management and other things which may work for only short term. He asked about physical therapy and i said it did not work for me and that i am going to chiropractor for the last few years. He said to continue what ever works as there is no magical solution. Then he asked if i had any more questions. I was totally confused as I was expecting him to give me more options. I did not expect a magical solution but when I asked him that he turned around and said that " You are not understanding me, as much as I would love to continue explaining this again and again to you I do have other patients who are waiting for me".... He also mentioned that he was a surgeon and as a surgeon he can go in and make my spine more stiff to help with the pain which will anyhow happen in the next 20 years naturally... IS this how a doctor talks with a patient??? From that point on I just kept quiet and wanted to get out of the place...in the end he did give a physical therapist persons name to try out but by then the damage was done and I lost trust in him. In fact I lost trust with specialists at this point. On a side note he did do all this talk with a big smiling face...which is even worse... Last October I had a Lumbar Laminectomy by a neurosurgeon and had so much pain after the surgery. After going to two other orthopedic surgeons, I was referred to Dr. Ashford by a orthopedic surgeon as being one of the best. Dr. Ashford took time to show details of the MRI and showing my exactly the problem. Dr. Ashford is personable and takes the time to make sure you understand the problem and what will take to relieve the pain. Dr. Ashford recommended Lumbar Spinal Fusion Surgery. I was hesita

Learn the hard way , move and had to change Doc to make a long story short I going back to doc Ashford. Any drive worth it to know you are getting the best advise A plus in my book

I recently had spine surgery performed by Dr. Ashford. I was scared to have this done, but he talked me through the process (more than once), visited me before and after surgery, called me when I got home, and spent quite a bit of time with me during the my follow-up so I would know what to expect next. Many doctors rush you through your appointments. This was not my experience with Dr. Ashford. His assistants and staff also helped a lot with questions and with all of the paperwork.
