Why settle for a narcissist as a doctor? Was rushed out of the appointment in less than 5 minutes. He didn’t let me get a word in. Told me he was downsizing for his new expensive practice and to find a new doctor cause he’s too expensive for me. Asked about my deceased parents in the hopes of recruiting someone to his new practice (he could have at least read my record first to save him the embarrassment). Doubted and made fun of my disease I’ve been battling for 10+ years (which again, was on my record). Very condescending and egotistical little man. I truly feel sorry for his patients he is scamming. He could care less about helping anyone but himself. But hey, if you’re white and rich maybe he’ll spot you 10 minutes of his time at your visit.

Just moved here from Maryland, so I visited Dr. Podell's Office as a new patient recently (May 2022). Dr. Podell was everything I expected for a good doctor. He was very kind and very knowledgeable. He spent his time talking about every details of my medical needs. Dr. Podell is also a very affable person? I find my visit to his office very enjoyable. It's also worth mentioning that Dr. Podell's Secretary was also a very dedicated and kind lady! The building is not quite up to par with Dr. Podwell's medical excellence, but I'm ok with that part. Disappointing. Superficial history taking and exam....with the door open. Far more interested in revenue production than medical care v

My family has been going to him for years. I nicely introduced myself as a new patient and he was a total cocky condescending jerk. You’d think after loyal patients helped feed his income he’d have more class. Bedside manner is important to me. This guy lacks it. Go elsewhere. I took my business to Dr. Crowley who is a MD VIP doctor and a wonderful man. Hope you take this advice

Good all-around DR

When I tried to make my first appointment with him I was redirected to a nurse practitioner. The staff said he was very busy and it would be over a month to see him. After a year I finally was able to get an appointment with him. He was dismissive and abrupt. I have an extensive medical history and know my conditions yet in a recent appointment he was again abrupt and more than dismissive. I will not be returning to his practice.

From day-one Dr. Podell has provided me with excellent care and advice. Although I've never met his P.A. his other employees, Mary Grace, Penny and Susan are excellent: courteous, professional and very pleasant.

Dr. Podell found my thyroid cancer and potentially saved my life. I’ve been to several PCP’s throughout the years and Dr. Podell is thorough, thoughtful and one of the best. Highly recommended!

Would not recommend. I recently had a serious health issue. I had a swollen leg and pain in my calf. Dr. Podell had no time to see me so I saw his physician assistant. Even though I was the only patient in the waiting room, Dr. Podell walked by me and didn't address me in any way. Nor did Dr. Podell step into the exam room for one minute. I went to the ER and had a DVT. He did not call at a later time to follow up. I am extremely disappointed in Dr. Podell's lack of involvement/interest

Never met the doctor, his office staff told me my son "wouldn't fit into the practice" after I told them he had Down Syndrome.

Great doctor - great staff - very personable

Dr. Podell is excellent. He cares about you as a person and present solutions to address your health care needs. I have been a patient in his office over ten plus years and I really enjoy our interactions when I visit him. I would highly recommend Dr. Podell!

I was initially referred to Dr Podell by my orthopedic surgeon Jonathan Garino For a pre-operation examination. My feeling on meeting him Initially prior to my exam was that he was both insightful and curious about me upon at this meeting. I did not feel like I was number 14 on the waiting list. In today's world this is truly unique. Life is reflective on you, by you.

Dr. Ross didn't waste any time and quickly diagnosed what 2 previous doctors missed in my first visit. He's an excellent doctor.
