Receptionist has great customer service and is very helpful. Dr. Hensley was very informative and completed treatment directly. No waiting around. Off ice background music in Classical, which is very relaxing, and enjoyable.

Thorough, understanding, listens well, and explains everything in understandable detail. I highly recommend Dr. Hensley.

Minor surgery to remove a melanoma

Having lived my life on the farm and in the sun, I have had my share of small spots and tags that could have become much worse if not for Dr. Hensley. I have been going to him for over 35 years and my mom and dad were patients of him. He has always been meticulous and thorough and swift during my appointments. He and his staff are always helpful and friendly. I actually look forward to seeing them each year. I trust Dr. Hensley to watch out for my skin health and I have learned to heed his recommendations on sunscreen. From my experience, I recommend Dr. Hensley and his staff.

The receptionist were so welcoming, and I felt the warm of care as soon as I walked in suite 7, Henley's office. The paper work didn't take too long as I was being assisted. And the Dr is amazingly friendly and willing to listen to me. Very great place overall to be cared for. Thank you Hensley's office.

This was my first visit to a dermatologist, ever. I had a variety of questions about some skin issues, as well as a skin tag on my eyelid. Dr. Hensley answered all of the questions thoroughly. When I asked what he could do about the skin tag, he said he could remove it right then & there. I asked him to go ahead & do it, and I was super impressed. There was no bruising, no soreness to my eyelid. I recommend Dr. Hensley and his staff to anyone needing dermatologic services.

It was a friendly visit , got in to see doctor on time. Told me want kind of rash i had.

All the staff were friendly and answered my questions. About the only thing missing was the sucker for being a good boy.

Went in to see about cyst on face. Doctor spent not more than 5 minutes with me, but answered my questions.

Dr. Hensley is a super knowledgeable doctor. I got a second opinion from him saying cutting of the area I was concerned with was not necessary. I trust his opinion since he has been serving LAWTON/FT. SILL for over 40 years. He was polite and to the point about using sunscreen. Staff was very courteous too. He is my Dermatologist now! I’m not going to anyone else. We are lucky to have him in Lawton!

I visited Dr. Hensley in Lawton, OK on 06/03/19 for an an area on my left face. I had an AWESOME visit!!! The staff was VERY nice!!!! Dr. Hensley put my mind at ease when he told me it was not Melanoma!!! It was Seborrheic Keratosis and he treated it at that same visit!! He gave me complete postcare instructions, with a simple small printout. He also answered any other questions that I had!!! Today, that treated area is TOTALLY healed!!!! VERY HAPPY!!!! I highly recommend this dermatologist. Dr. Hensley and his staff were amazing. As soon as I got there I filled out the paperwork right then. I only waited about 3-4 minutes before they took me to the room. In less than 5 minutes I was with the doctor. He was able to remove one mole and referred me to another specialist to remove the larger lump on my back. I never felt any pain. The staff was great too. They answered all my questions about the billing and explained what happens next. C.Wilson??

Fast efficient and very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions. Wait was minimal and staff were very nice. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

If you need a quick appointment with NO follow up care Dr Hensley would probably be ok (if you don’t mind an aggressive and rude dr) If you need to come back multiple times or deal with his office staff I’d travel to OKC, Duncan or Wichita Falls and see a Dr who is willing to listen and figure out how to best treat you not just hand you a lotion and send you on your way! He doesn’t appear up to date on advanced Dermatology treatments. Btw..his office staff obviously HATE their jobs.

I am so glad we sought Dr. Hensley out for our family's needs. He is very thorough, didn't beat around the bush and never seemed annoyed at questions we had. He had a plan and also went above to recommend over the counter products that we could use to help situation. Would definitely recommend him for all your family's dermatology needs, young or old!

Wow!! How can this Dr stay in business?! I read the reviews & had 2 friends tell me to not see him but I figured people were being sensitive. Nope! I believe the positive ones are mock/fake reviews from his office. He doesn’t listen well & talks over you as you describe your issues. He seems stuck in his old ways & doesn’t wish to try new treatments or even treat some issues. Talked my issues away & was very overbearing. Told all this to my Reg Dr and she said “Yes, he has a terrible reputation”

Dr Hensley is abrupt & arrogant. He asks you what you came in for but continually interrupts and tells you how you’re wrong. He went on to tell me that many of my symptoms are treatable but rather than treating he said “I tell my women patients to learn to live with it”. I’ve had chronic nail issue & I’m losing my hair (started only 6 mos ago) but rather than test to figure out why this is happening I should accept these! I’m 40! If he’d treat me I could accept his arrogance. Look elsewhere!!!

The doctor had the worst bed aide manner I’ve ever experienced. He rushed me, didn’t let me finish explaining anything before jumping to conclusions. I felt very much like I was a bother to his day. He was a little rough with my son when he had to scrape a spot for a sample... telling him it didn’t hurt when my son said t hurt. I will never go back there.

Was incredibly rude and in a hurry. Kept cutting us off when we try to speak or ask questions. Very curt. Wasn't even willing to look at one problem before saying that's not something he does. Felt like he just wanted us out of his office. His staff was the same way. Will not be returning.

Dr Hensley has been taking care of my wife and me, our 3 children, my parents and my in laws for going on 40 years. I cant imagine ever going anywhere else ---- lots of years of excellent care

Great doctor and ONLY doctor that helped me control my chronic hives. After about 5 doctors (a few general practitioners, one allergy specialist, and a rheumatologist) and multiple misdiagnoses, I am so thankful to have found Dr. Hensley!!! I finally have my life back. Who knew it could take a year to find a doctor that knew what he was talking about. When you have been struggling for a year, you know when to appreciate a good dr which is why I'm writing this review to spread the knowledge!

I have used Dr. Hensley for many years and he is a great doctor. He is the best Dermatologist around in my opinion. His nurses and office staff have always been very helpful with anything I needed. They are friendly and a pleasure to be with . I recommend Dr. Hensley to anyone needing an excellent Dermatologist.

This is the rudest doctor and staff that I have ever come in contact with. Secretary needs to learn proper customer service. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Definitely switching dermatologists. I talked with him over the phone for documents that could affect my career and he cut of every question I had. They're just really nasty people.

Dr, Hensley is a very pleasant and professional Dermatologist, I trust him and his staff very much. I did not have to wait more than 5-10 min. to be taken to the exam room. My whole experience was reassuring and professional.

I read reviews of Dr Hensley and Iwasvaprehensive but I must say I had one of the best experiences I have ever had at a Doctor's office. The staff were friendly as was Dr Hensley and boy is he quick but he is very smart. He diagnosed my problem very quickly and he answered my questions about my problem before I had a chance to ask. I will definite return and recommend him to my family and friends.

I have been to Hensley for several appointments and also have had 3 other family members go to him for various things and they also agree. Hensley and his staff are the rudest and most unfriendly staff of ANY doctor's office I have EVER been to. I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THIS DOCTOR WHAT SO EVER!!!! :(

I started seeing Dr. Hensley after my former dermatologist moved. In 2015, at the age of 21, I was diagnosed with Melanoma. Even though Dr. Hensley was mostly hateful and dry in character, he had earned my respect because he was the one that spotted the Melanoma. However, I lost eventually lost every ounce of respect I had for him and everyone working in his office for that matter. Not even a year after my diagnosis, I was forced to find a new doctor. I would not recommend Dr. Hensley to anyone.

Dr Hensley knows about skin, he is a genius.
