Dr. Berkowitz performed a complete hysterectomy on me for Ovarian Cancer. There were some unexpected complications during surgery and he handled the situation with great care and with the utmost knowledge. I was blessed to have him as my surgeon. He is THE BEST!!!

Dr. Berkowitz is an amazing doctor. My story is long and has a happy ending so far. Dr. Berkowitz is the reason for that. Patient, thorough, and some corny jokes tossed in. The most wonderful doctor out there

I have chosen Dr. Berkowitz for 2 very involved procedures, including a hysterectomy. Dr. Berkowitz & his team made this very difficult but necessary decision as easy as it could be. He pays incredible attention to every detail; he reviewed slides and pathologies from earlier surgeries performed at another out-of network hospital & called me directly at 7 am the week before the surgery to advise me so I could make the most informed decision. He makes rounds even on Sundays. Amazing, dedicated.

Excellent Dr. Dr Berkowitz is a very caring, kind, knowledgable doctor. He took the time to explain my case and answer all my questions. He followed up in a timely manner with all my appointments and phone calls.

Dr. Berkowitz has a caring, calming bed side manner. The day we met, I was scared stiff. However, I walked out thinking, I'm going to be OK. My husband said, he wrote those books on his shelves! This Dr. was wise enough to tack my ovaries out of the field of radiation. That 1 act allowed me to do egg retrievals & use a surrogate. We now have a 16 year old son. I literally owe both of our lives to this stellar brilliant surgeon. I can't Thank him enough, as I am forever in his debt. Lynne Mason

He is a skilled surgeon-very dedicated warm kind human being. He takes as much time as needed to explain diagnosis and prognosis. I would recommend him. He is a very special person.
