Dr. Rosemary B Desloge

Dr. Desloge should drop the “E” in ENT. I've seen her twice regarding ear issues (second time only because I could not get an appointment with my regular ENT fast enough) and both times she deferred to another doctor’s opinion – but was still happy to charge me her very high specialist fee. I understand her area of expertise is the throat and that is fine – but then she should decline to see patients who expressly state they’re seeking her advice on ear issues, or should not charge them when she is absolutely not helpful and defers to so and so’s opinion.

Always leery on my first visit to a new doctor but Dr. Desloge made me feel comfortable immediately. She is friendly, listens to you and asks pointed questions to fully understand your symptoms. She was very knowledgeable and gave me excellent advice regarding my vertigo / ear issues. I would highly recommend her.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! DO NOT GO!! I went to see her on recommendation, and my first visit was incredible. Yet by my second appointment I was extremely disappointed and displeased with some of the front desk staff. I found some of her staff to be unpleasant unprofessional Then she stands behind the behavior by attempting to scold a patient. I will never return to her office. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!! Always knowledgeable, and takes the time.

Dr. Desloge listens, provides thoughtful answers, and make the office visit a smooth and comforting experience.

She’s amazing! Friendly, welcoming, very knowledgeable of the voice and what performers go through and need.

Dr. Desloge has been endlessly patient evaluating and treating my chronic cough. She's always cheerful and professional;her office is immaculate and her staff is wonderful. Its almost worth being sick!Highly recommended.

Like Roy F. of Brooklyn, I discovered that Dr. Desloge treats Medicare patients as 2nd class citizens. I emailed her after I arrived for an appointment that turned out to have been made on a day that Dr. Desloges was not there. After not even receiving a 1-line email apology, I called. Dr. Desloge said that Medicare reimbursement was so inadequate that she had to overbook to make up for that. That seemed irrelevant to my concern, but when I asked why she hadn't responded to my email, she said, "Because I was busy taking care of my patients." Clearly, I wasn't a patient who deserved even a brief email or phone reply. If Dr. Desloge cannot treat all of her patients equally, she should not accept Medicare reimbursement.

I have total confidence in Dr. Desloge.

I am extremely grateful for the time Dr. Desloge spent discussing the polyp on my vocal chord. While I was in a hurry to have it removed, Dr Desloge took every precaution. After 2 voice sessions with Shirley, (covered 100% by medicare) surgery was recommended. Dr Desloge had concern for the positioning of my neck during surgery because of a past injury, Ultimately, Dr Desloge sent me for a second opinion with a laser surgeon in another office and different hospital who removed the polyp by laser

Excellent doctor, great therapist and very nice, professional office. My complaint is that the office refused to ask Medicare for an exception to the Voice Therapy cap. The exception is common and well documented on the Medicare website. As a result I had to pay $150 out of pocket. Apparently this is not include in their service. The doctor actually told if I didn't pay it was taking food out of her kid's mouths!
