Dr. Rosemary Phillips Cardosi

She’s by far my favorite doctor, and let me just say that I have a lot of doctors. She’s very kind and actually listens to her patients. I’ve been going to her for years even after moving away. It’s worth the hour drive!

I waited 3 months for a new patient appointment , but so glad I did. Most Drs now days want to rush you out and barely take the time to listen to your concerns, not Dr. Cardosi. She took the time to listen to my concerns and to understand that what I was experiencing was not normal for me. She simply just took the time to listen . Her staff is also wonderful. I have a couple of follow up visits and will definitely update the review then , but I am so happy so far that I had to write a review. I was so impressed with this Dr. I have never felt so comfortable and understood . I will recommend her to anyone that asks . It’s a great feeling knowing that someone is actually looking into your problems and not dismissing it as “it’s normal for your age”. Her staff is also great. I am so happy I made the switch.

She's the first Gyn that has ever come in to speak with me first, to get a clear understanding of my medical history and ask about any concerns I might have. After the exam, she comes back to spend more time discussing your health with you. She's very upbeat, straight forward / matter of fact, but she's not cold. She has a good sense of humor that sets you more at ease. She's very thorough and obviously cares about her patients. I drive 45 min. just to get this quality care.

So disappointed to see she had a 3.3 that I just had to add my five stars. I love this office so much and Dr. Cardosi was just the icing on the cake. She is extremely knowledgeable and although she may have a tough exterior- it is very obvious that she cares about her patients. I'm driving an hour to see her now since I've moved to Tampa from Lakeland and would hate to go looking for someone that meets her level.

Very compassionate thoughtful physician! Extremely knowledgeable. Practices from her heart. Rare to find this type of MD in today's world.

She really listened to me. She vowed to fix the problems I was having and she DID! She is my hero. She listened when others wouldn't.

I met Dr Cardosi at LRMC when she was covering for my so called doctor, My doctor was not doing all she could of been doing for me, due to the fact I wanted to delay surgery. I was having very extreme female bleeding to the point of I could not even walk straight up, I called my doctor and begged her to do something and she had me admitted to the hospital, but she was not on call, Thank you GOD! Dr Cardosi was on call and came to see me and after one pill my bleeding almost stopped, I had to recieve 5 units of blood to get back to normal. I thank God every day that Dr Cardosi was on call that weekend.
