Dr. Wynn is the best dentist I've ever had. She was the ONLY dentist who could work with my autistic son - we started with her when he was a very young boy and now he is 28. There's no question where either of us go. I have referred several other people to her care, all satisfied. Not only is she direct, clear and communicative, her approach and bedside manner is incredible. She truly cares about us, both personally and for our health. I have always had anxiety over getting any dental care and she keeps me at ease. I am in my seventies. When I was young, I did not have proper dental care. Even though I got regular dental care in later years, my dental condition is poor. About 9 years ago, my dental condition deteriorated quickly. The dental care I received at that time was not sufficient to stabilize my condition. I asked my family doctor for recommendation. He recommended his own dentist Dr. Wynn. After seeing Dr. Wynn, my teeth condition starts to stabilize. First, she increases my check up frequency from twice a year to once every 3 months. Additional differences between Dr. Wynn's practice and other dentists' also help. With my previous dentists, I spent more time in waiting than treatment. There was limited time for asking questions. It is especially difficult to get answer about questions I had after the visit. With Dr. Wynn, I get seated immediately for my appointment. Right after, Dr. Wynn comes in with full knowledge of my case. Afterward in her office, Dr. Wynn takes care of administrative issues and leaves plenty of time for me to ask questions. If I have further question afterward, she answers my e-mail promptly. Since I need to monitor my dental health closer then other patients, Dr. Wynn provides me with dental records to help me in identifying areas needing attention and for tracking my progress. About ethical practice, I have one experience to share. I had a tooth which had been loose for over 20 years. Last June (2021) it started to cause pain and needed to be removed. As a result, I needed a new retainer. Dr. Wynn believed that since Lab could not just modify my old retainer, a brand new one would be required. She charged accordingly. However, she sent my old retainer along with new impression to the Lab. When time came to fit the new retainer, I got the surprise news that Lab was able to modify my old retainer and this saved me about $670. The lab could have just made a new retainer and earned more profit, but instead it made effort to modify the old retainer and save patient money. At the same time, Dr. Wynn promptly passed the saving back to me. This level of integrity extends from Dr. Wynn all the way to the Lab she uses. I am impressed. I am in my seventies. Dr. Wynn is an amazing dentist. We have been going to her for 20+ years and she has provided wonderful service for the entire 20+. She is the most honest and knowledgeable dental experts in the field and in the Bay Area. I know this out of observation of other dentists my other family members have gone to in the Bay Area in addition to personal experiences after relocating to another state. I tried out a new dentist in the state I'm currently in and their methodology was completely different than what I'm used to with Dr. Wynn's practice. I have healthy (but porous) straight teeth that requires only general cleanings twice a year. This new dental office in the new state charged me extra for fluoride and a desensitizing solution that I didn't need. They also suggested Invisalign (did I mention that I have straight teeth?) for some very odd reason I can't even explain coherently (because, their reasoning really was out of this world). They were not pleased when I declined. The bedside manner experience was also very inauthentic and on the lines of very uncomfortable (e.g., what is this progressive doing in my conservative office when I didn't even discuss anything personal or political?). I have been seeing Dr. Wynn for over 13 years. My two teenagers also see Dr. Wynn. She is professional, punctual, knowledgeable and very honest. She keeps it real and is proactive with the maintenance of your teeth. She has NEVER been late to a scheduled appointment in 13 years. Amazing! She’s not trying to shuffle as many patients in as possible, but rather she spends quality time with each patient which ends with a meeting afterwards to tell you what services were performed, what she wants you to keep doing and suggestions on how to maintain your teeth. Another important thing I really appreciate about Dr. Wynn is that she stays current and informed in her field. Often, she is attending seminars, classes, conferences to ensure she’s up to date with the latest and greatest. Dr. Wynn is a continuous learner. This is why she is very knowledgeable in her field and knows the best expert to recommend if it’s not in her specialty. And finally, Dr. Wynn is VERY honest. I am a long term patient of Dr. Wynn (20+ years). She is incredibly skilled and gentile. This review has been a long time coming. So I've known Dr. Wynn for 20+ years. She took care of my younger sister for just as long and my mother for even longer. Throughout the years, she has been nothing but kind, respectful, and caring of us. Back when I was a kid, she was like a doting aunt, always telling me to brush my teeth better but still giving me toys from her secret stash that I can take back home. Now that I'm my own person, she's gone out of her way to make sure I can get the care that I need. Back when I had to switch to using my own dental insurance, I wasn't initially in network with her, but she took the time and effort to add herself to my network so that I wouldn't have to pay more than I have to. I can go on and on about the other positive things that she's done for me. Since five years ago that my family and I moved to California, my dad hadn't seen a dentist. It was about four months ago that my dad started to feel some discomfort in one of his molars, so he decided to finally visit the dentist. For recommendation we came across Dr. Wynn's office and it was such a pleasure to meet her and her staff. I went with my dad, and I was even allow to enter with him to the operatory since he doesn't speak fluent english. However, my intervention was not need because Dr. Wynn patiently explained to my dad each step of what was going on. When it came to the diagnostic, again, Dr. Wynn clearly explained in simple words what's need to be done on his teeth so my dad could understand. We were afraid of being overdiagnosed but as Dr. Wynn explained and showed to us his x-rays, we were more than satisfied on her diagnostic. My family and I have relied on Dr Wynn for top notch dentistry for many years, since 2004. She has repaired multiple old fillings for me that had started to fail. She created a very complicated partial crown that has worked wonderfully to keep my molar and avoid a root canal. Dr. Wynn has been my dentist for over 13 years now. When I first came to her, my teeth were pretty bad but over time, she fixed the issues one after the other. I once had occasion to call her when she was on holiday because of a tooth-related accident, she calmly talked me through what I needed to do, and made the time to see me the very first day after she was back in town to fix it. Dr. Wynn is professional, warm, takes the time to explain what's needed, and is honest. She works late every day and on weekends because she genuinely cares. The happiest I've seen her was early on, when she realized she didn't need to do a root canal on me as the rot hadn't reached the nerve! If you are looking for a dentist that is kind, trustworthy, and does excellent work, then look no further. I've been going to Dr. Wynn, regularly for over 17 years. Even when I moved over an hour away, I did not want to change to a dentist that was closer. In fact, the one time I did go see another dentist, that dentist told me I had 10 cavities. I went to see Dr. Wynn after that and she told me I have zero cavities. That was over a decade ago, and I'm happy to say that I still have all of my teeth and they feel great! Unfortunately, I had a really terrible experience. She did a painful, expensive crown removal which still causes me pain. Then, I found out from another dentist that there'd been no issues with it (which was true, I had no pain or issues before that) and there'd been no reason to remove it! In fact, Dr. Wynn told me that I had cracks in two crowns and old fillings replaced but didn't show me a picture or x-ray of the cracks. I have been a patient of Dr. Wynn's for nearly 20 years. My entire family has seen her, including my son, who started with her around age 3. I am in the medical field and am very selective about my medical providers. I'm not quite sure why it's taken me so long to write a review, but today seemed like a good time, after my cleaning appointment. She sets the standard that all dentists should strive to achieve. Her office is spotless. Staff is warm, friendly and very well trained to meet her high standards. She takes pride in her work and provides excellent care. She is meticulous and focused in her care. I usually only need cleanings, but occasionally require something more. She explains everything in detail, works with my insurance company so I know what is covered and what is not. When possible, she provides options for treatment that will fit my needs the best. She also makes sure I am never in any pain. Let's be honest, no one loves going to the dentist (Sorry, Dr. Wynn!), but she makes sure I am never in pain and I am grateful for that! I would not hesitate to refer friends or family to her. Dr. Wynn has been my dentist for close to 20 years. I get my teeth cleaned twice a year and my mouth always feels fresh when I leave. In my experiences, she has never recommended any unnecessary treatments. The only thing I've been recommend were fillings (about 4 of them), which were necessary because I had a lot of cavities when I was younger. The other was a mouth guard because she noticed how the wear on my teeth. I grind my teeth at night, which use to lead to a lot of tension headaches and sore jaws. After I got a custom mouth guard made through Dr. Wynn 6 years ago, all those issues have been gone since. I highly recommend her for her great work, honesty and professionalism. Dr Wynn is my little angel. After years of neglecting my teeth, I finally got it together and started the process of getting them fixed. I was absolutely terrified. I knew I had cavities, a cap had come loose, and I was in pain. Dr Wynn and her staff set me at ease. They were there to help me, not judge. The deep cleaning wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. Dr Wynn informed me that she was going to try and salvage the tooth under the cap that had come loose. We had maxed out my available insurance, so I was trying to put it off to save up, then I broke a different tooth. They needed to be fixed. ASAP. Dr Wynn worked with me financially and through a miracle, was able to save BOTH teeth. She called to check on how my new caps are working and has a detailed plan to help me bring my teeth back to a healthy spot. Her kindness is overwhelming. Our teeth are so very vital in our self confidence and having a dentist who knows that is crucial. I have more procedures ahead of me, and I am oddly looking forward to them. I've been going to Dr. Rosa Wynn for over 15 years. The reason I moved to her; she never makes you wait. She'll see one patient at a time and she's careful, detailed, and thorough. I've tried many different dentists throughout the years before Dr. Wynn, and none has treated me with the care that I've received from her. She'll share X-rays to show the issue and walks you through what needs to be done. Basically, Dr. Wynn will not let you leave the appointment unless the treatment is successful or there are next steps. She's treated me for numerous issues over the years from standard deep cleaning, filling repair, fixing a damaged root canal from a prior dentist, and implant of a crown. I've had the gamut done and she is the only person I call when I have a toothache. When there is pain, she moves her appointments around to get me in right away. I've referred many friends and coworkers throughout the years and they're all happy patients. I'm happy to say, I have not had a cavity since I've been going to Dr. Wynn. I’ve had an extensive history with Dr Wynn having seen her for the last 20 years. I stopped going to the dentist 10 years ago (insurance) and recently I came back from 6 years of travel. In that time, I took extremely bad care of my teeth. Needless to say, when I came back my mouth health was in shambles. I had a hole in my tooth filled with infection and desperately needed a few crowns. My mouth was bloodier than a boxers’ after a fight. Dr Wynn took me under her care, and after 10 months my mouth has had a complete turn for the best. She gave me the utmost in care. She squeezed me in whenever possible to ensure that I got the crown installed as quickly as possible. She communicates extremely well ensuring that I am always aware of what she is doing inside my mouth. She takes time ensuring that her patients have the best experience even going as far as heating up the anesthetic to body temperature ensuring that it works fast without the temperature shock (think cold ice cream on your teeth.) I especially appreciate the fact that she takes extra time to explain her answers to my questions. Generally speaking, I don’t trust doctors of any kind, however I know that when Dr Wynn is working in my mouth, she is the best person for the job. I highly recommend her for all your oral needs, unless the scope of the job is beyond her in which case, I highly recommend the people she refers you out to. Dr. Wynn has been my family dentist for the past 7-8 years and it has been an absolute delight. She is professional, punctual, and kind. I used to have occasional anxiety about having sharp metal tools in my mouth, but through the years, I was relieved of this anxiety because of Dr. Wynn's experience and diligence. In every appointment I had with Dr. Wynn, I noticed she would give her complete attention to the patient. I was most impressed with her when she had managed to fill my chipped tooth. Before the filling, I somewhat accepted that my chipped tooth would look slightly different from the other teeth. Me and my son have been Rosa’s dental patients for years. In the wake of COVID-19, we have felt very safe and re-assured when visiting her office due to all the safety measures like checking in advance to ensure that we have not had any indications of contracting the virus, to Checking our temperature and her own staff before entering her office. She constantly is cleaning and sanitizing the office and everyone wears masks. I've been coming to Dr. Wynn's office for a few years now and she is everything you would expect in a dentist. Dr. Wynn is super attentive to all sensitivities when performing and extremely knowledgable of all the issues I have had informing me at all times. She works extremely well with her hands. The Staff is very friendly and the office is pristine. Always keeping it to the highest hygienic standards and following all COVID protocols if not exceeding which is super important especially in these tough times. She always puts her patients first. Going to the dentist can be intimidating for me, especially now with the added concerns surrounding COVID-19, but Dr. Wynn and her staff were incredibly professional and I felt very safe with the cleaning protocols they have in place. Throughout my 13 years of going to Dr. Wynn, I can never remember a time that I was not satisfied with her work. From the top, her line of work requires immense dedication and passion, and she makes it clear that she has put in that time and patience to perfect her work. For example, when I got my teeth whitened, Dr. Wynn was very supportive, and thorough when explaining the process. She is a professional and has a naturally lovely personality. Dr. Wynn is very caring and knowledgeable person. She makes sure that you feel comfortable. She is always on time and doesn’t keep you waiting. My family have been Dr. Wynn’s patient for more than 18 years now, and we look forward to our visits. We have been here for crowns, fillings, cleanings, etc. It is a great dental practice!
