Dr. Roohi Desai

Dr. Desai has become our family physician. Not only is she extremely attentive and thorough, she is so incredibly knowledgeable and her genuine desire to actually help her patients shines through in each visit. If you are searching for a new physician, I recommend Dr. Desai wholeheartedly.

I see the reviews about Dr. Roohi Desai. I wasn't that lucky. Looks like Dr.Desai, cares about her patients, but when I went to see Dr. Desai with my mom(97)years old as a new patient, Dr. Desai order lab test, and urine test. I didn't recived any calls from the office about those test, thinking that everything is fine, but after 10 days I recived a call from the dr. office, informed me that my mom has a bladder infection, and she needs antibiotic. she didn't recived the treatment, right away only after 10 days of the visit they called to me, and the order was send to the pharmacy, but it should be treat the infection right away. Dr. Roohi explanation was, she went on vacation, and no one from the office called The Medical Assistant and including Dr. has the responsibility to call the patient, tell the what was the resold of the test, and treat the patient with antibiotic. I will not say that the office including Dr. really cares, in my opinion, this is negligent toward the patient, I took my mom to Dr. Desai office, because was thinking that Dr. Desai cares and I trust her bringing my mom to her office, looks like I was wrong, and I'm very disappointed. Thorough and extremely patient and kind. She truly cares about her patients and provides excellent care.

Doctor Roohi Desai is really caring and does her best . She is very humble and sincere .She listens patiently and makes you feel comfortable.Before my appointment with her I visited 3 doctors and used 2 different antibiotics which did nit stop my acute sinus infection and additionally ear infaction .I suffered from headache severe earache and frequent fevers within 40 days . Dr. Roohi Desai (there are two Dr. Desai's at St. Anthony SW) has been my PCP for a few years now and I have been satisfied every time I've visited her. She is very friendly and caring and listens to patients. She's everything I could want in a physician (to top it off, she's cute).
