Dr Arai is very attentive to my situation. As my symtoms were not improving he fit me into his schedule for the follow week. I know how busy he is but he's a compassionate man and i do appreciate his fitting me into his busy schedule

Beware of this Dr!! Before you visit a new doctor check your government websites and see if they accept money from private companies. This guy is paid thousands of dollars by private drug companies each year. I saw him after visiting the ER two times because I was in constant pain and he was the only dr with availability. He did not take me seriously or run basic tests that would’ve shown the bacterial infection I had, instead he prescribed me drugs and a procedure (that costs thousands). Turns out that I was contagious at the time so scheduling a procedure would’ve put other patients at risk of infection! Stay away from him all I needed was a basic stool test and antibiotics. Everything is great at this facility

Dr.Arai saved my life. I had the same issue going on for two years and no one could figure out what was wrong with me. I seen three different GI’s. Dr.Arai was my last resort. I was miserable and the last doctor I seen before him left me with well I don’t know what to tell you. I was nauseous every single day could barely eat and was told over and over that no one knew what was wrong. I sat with Dr. Arai for five min and he figured out what was wrong and did the correct test to prove it. Not only was he very knowledgeable but also compassionate are caring. I'm very happy with the fact that I was seen by the doctor at the appointment time. It's frustrating when I have an appointment and have to wait in a room for more than 40 minutes waiting for the doctor to see me. The Doctor was more than kind, he was in no rush (opposed to many other doctors) and he took the time to review the documents I brought and listen to what I had to say. Dr. Arai takes the time needed to explain anything and everything in full detail.

Marci was really good scheduling my appointment and then calling back to offer an earlier time based on a cancelation. This is excellent service very rare these days. Dr. Arai and the team of nurses and procedure scheduling are a pleasure to deal with. Dr. Arai took the time to listen, ask questions and explain with no rush.

Professionalism, timeliness

Doctor was the best, he apologized to me for waiting soooo long

Dr Arai returned my call, because I had GI bleeding suddenly. He said “the decision is yours, you can go to the hospital or come to the office next week.” I said, what should I do? He said, “ I didn’t see it and I have to go now, to talk to other patients.”

The personal at frontdesk extreme arogant and not nice.... The dr. Arai, Extremely Rushed consultation, 5 min consultation for colonoscopy and endoscopy, no to much obtions given, no explanation, he didn't even listen what symptoms I have, I was sent to colonoscopy and endoscopy... Of course to his company, at the same floor... And then no follow up appointment, he even didn't call me, the nurse call me to give some medicine, whiteout to explain anything why. When I ask she told me that she doesn't know for what I have to take those antibiotics and other med. Till I went there to request a copy of my tests, I didn't know why I received those medications. Tereble doctor, very superficial... I am recomandat this doctor, very disappointed...

Excellent. After taking my daughter to urgent care and the ER, no diagnosis, Dr. Arai diagnosed her with accuracy. Extremely knowledgeable and informative.

Excellent professional friendly doctor. Had colonoscopy procedure on 12/17/19. All went smoothly and no pain at all. His stuff is as professional and friendly as Dr Arai. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have used Dr Arai for many years. He is a highly skilled and caring doctor who has always been willing answer & explain any questions or concers we have. The office provides a pleasent experience also.

Dr Aria is not only friendly but professional. He shows care in his patients and explains everything. On a side note wears crazy socks check them out.

Dr. Arai is amazing. However I wish that I could review the office staff in this office with a big fat 0 stars. Every single person (besides Dr Arai) that I came in contact with today was rude and miserable. It will probably be the deciding factor in me not going back there. I said good morning with a smile and all I got was “Have you been here before?” Well okay then! They scheduled my appointment at the wrong building because they didn’t check my insurance so I had to go back and get it fixed myself. Then they didn’t call in my prescription. I get a call back, after leaving a full detailed message, and while explaining the help I needed (again) she literally cut me off mid sentence then tells me she’s going to have a scheduler call me back. Incredible bedside manners , he truly knows what he is doing , he cares for his patients is a good listener doesn’t rule out any of your concerns.The staff is incredibly helpful informative on what to do what you need , they are very kind . The office feel people who truly care they help you guide you give you options where to go call in your meds if needed . What is negative ? All I can say is wow! What a great doctor and office. We went for the first time today for my boyfriend who has diverticulitis. Dr. Arai made us feel so comfortable. He's down to earth, trustworthy and knowledgeable. The staff are also wonderful. Great experience all around. Glad we found him.

Made an appt as a new patient but when I arrived to fill out paperwork, I was told I needed to leave a credit card on file as office policy states they automatically charge your card for any balance due once your insurance processes the claim. I don’t like that policy because insurance companies pay incorrectly all the time and I was not prepared to fight for a refund. Also did not like that they don’t prepare you for that when making the appt do you don’t waste time going for nothing.

Dr. Arai is a great physician. He is not only an expert in his field, but a warm and caring individual as well! Dr. Arai fit me into his busy schedule to immediately address my concerns. He is more easily accessible than many of his colleagues. He communicates well when necessary. His nurse/assistant is kind and efficient. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a qualified gastroenterologist.

Dr. Arai did my colonoscopy today without anesthesia. He and his staff, especially Kathie made this experience easy and interesting. Dr. Arai is compassionate and dedicated doctor as well as being extremely knowledgeable. in my opinion he is the only doctor to use when you need to gastroenterologist. He took an experience that is usually extremely uncomfortable and made it extremely pleasant. He's been my gastroenterologist for the last 3 years and always will be. Simply the Best!

I saw Dr. Arai for a flexible sigmoidoscopy with a banding for severely bleeding internal hemmoroids. Dr. Arai was great! and so was his nurse that assisted him. he thoroughly explained the procedure beforehand as well as during the procedure he has an "upbeat" "positive" vibe about him and a good sense of humor which for me was key at putting me at ease I would definitely recommend Dr. Arai and digestive care of Broward!

I was lucky to connect with Dr Arai 3 years ago! He was able to find the right treatment for me to get my UC IN CONTROL AND REMISSION, He explains treatment and lab results and consults and communicates with my other physicians regarding my treatment and results. His assistant Dawn and nurse Gail are the best!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Arai to my friends and family. He's a great gastroenterologist. The staff are wonderful, the offices are clean, and there's even a T.V. in the waiting room!

Despite waiting 45 mins to an hour ( maybe because I was a new patient) he is a good Doctor and his nurse was very attentive. The consultation he performed was quick and clean. He was informative and showed genuine concern, his office was neat and most of the nurses/staff (not all) were attentive and welcoming.

Highly professional office with physicians that take their time to discuss treatment options, expectations, address patient concerns and bring back the human element to medicine. Great people!

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Arai and his associates. I couldn't be happy with the care that I have received with Dr. Arai. The staff is excellent as well. I mostly deal with Gail and Dawn and they are awesome!! If you need a gastrointestinal doctor do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Arai.

Not sure if I would go back here again. Staff is rude. Doctor didn't seem sure of himself. Practice is too large which equals poor quality of care in my opinion. Had more then one visit and I am not impressed so looking elsewhere.

Just having had my first colonscopy, Dr. Arai and his staff explained everything in great detail and eased any fears I had about the procedure. Also, he thoroughly explained the outcome of my procedure and what was going to happen next. I would highly recommend his practice.
