Dr. Ronald Wokasien is an incredible podiatrist. He is professional and highly efficient at removing ingrown toenails. I would highly recommend going to see him if you have a toenail that is bothering you. You will not regret it!

Thorough, smart, and no nonsense/fluff. You can tell he knows his stuff. Doesnt try to sell anything unnecessary and is thorough in his examination. Also, smart in the way he runs his office. He'll be my podiatrist going forward.

Straight forward and no nonsense

Dr. Wokasien saved the day! I broke my pinky toe on my couch Sunday evening, like ya do, and when I looked down it was pointing at a 90 degree angle from my foot. I tried to straighten it to tape it myself but couldn’t. I went to urgent care and the doctor took an x-ray and then said that it was a severe break, that he couldn’t set it, and that I would need to see a orthopedic surgeon and probably have surgery. The next morning I called around to specialists and left messages. Dr. Wokasien called me back immediately, himself (!), and got me in the same day. Numbed my toe, set it, and now it’s straight again and I’m good to go. Thank you, Dr. Ron! Dr. Wokasien saved the day! Dr. Wokasien is amazing! He helped reduced my foot pain immediately and gave me a simple and easy plan to follow to get me back up and running. He was super attentive and extremely helpful. I can't recommend him enough!

Was able to get in the same day I called and he was doctor that got right to the point. He was able to take care of my nail with little pain. Post operation I have yet to have much discomfort due to his work. Thanks much for your help.

Dr. Wokasien is very thoughtful and effective. He removed my ingrown toenail painlessly while providing plenty of pleasant conversation. It's obvious from his approach that he empathizes with every patient and gives them the time they deserve.

Dr. Wokasien was very straightforward and effective. I had a bad ingrown on my big toe. The procedure took about 20 min. He had an easy to follow instructions for post procedure care. He said not to hesitate and call if I had any other questions. Highly recommend for any foot issues.

I went to Dr. Wokasien for a second opinion after being told by another podiatrist the cyst in my foot would need surgery. Dr Wokasien patiently listened to my concerns and actually assessed and examined my foot instead of just relying on an ultrasound and MRI as the previous podiatrist had done. He was able to recommend less invasive options that worked and saved me from an unnecessary surgery as well as permanent damage that would have resulted from such a surgery. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. He is very concerned about helping his patients and not just making money off of you. Excellent visit! Dr. W is thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. He also speaks very quickly but doesn’t mind at all if you need to ask questions or have him repeat instructions. This was my first time going and I highly recommended him. It is helpful going in and knowing your co-pay beforehand since he seems to do all the office side of work as well. I highly recommend Dr. Wokasien. He was able to accommodate me last minute. I had so much pain after attempting to remove an ingrown toe nail on my own resulting in an infection. (Don’t try it at home) I had the best experience starting from the moment I called to make the appointment until I left his office. Dr Wokasien is a people’s person and made me feel at ease right away. Explained me in detail what had to be done. His experience shows and it gave me a peace of mind to know I was in good hands. He made sure I was comfortable in every step during the procedure. I don’t like needles and he was very considerate of that. He is very straightforward and he keeps it simple. Dr. Wokasion called me back on Thanksgiving day, made an appointment for the next day. Took care of my toe-nail problem fast easy and explained everything he was doing. I am going to go back for another toe nail problem. I highly recommend him.

Went to Wokasien for a foot issue. He spent most of the time asking me the general questions, which is fine. He asked me about what I had already tried about fixing the issue and I told him. He asked if Ive tried ibuprofen. I told him Yes. he asked how much/how often. I said for over 10 weeks and multiple doses throughout the day. He literally suggested for me to do the same thing that I was already doing for a couple more weeks and then to come back to update on progress. Then suggested that if I didnt feel better we could go with injections (to cover up the pain.) So i basically paid him to advise me to go buy some more advil. Basically this not a doctor who knows how to fix a issue, just sets you up to keep you coming back to pay more. Go somewhere actually TRY to help you fix the issue. Went to Wokasien for a foot issue. I visited Dr Ronald for pain in my right foot. He was great at addressing the issue and was reachable after office hours to discuss my concerns.

Dr. Ronald was a life saver. I have suffered my entire life with ingrown toenails, and until watching the Toe Bro on TV, I did not know that someone could permanently fix this problem. The entire process took 15 minutes, less than 5 minutes for the doctor to remove the nail out from under my skin. It has been two weeks and I have had NO problems at all, as a matter of fact, it never even hurt after it was removed. I was shocked. I am sure it is not normal to have NO pain after, but I have not, and the toe looks great. I will be going back and have the other toe done. I wish I knew about this years ago. I had an incredibly wonderful experience! The good doctor is talented at keeping pain at a minimum. He removed an ingrown nail, a procedure I've had done before, he did it in a fraction of the time with a lot less pain. Dr. Wokasien was honestly one of the most straightforward, organized, and professional podiatrists I have ever been treated by. I appreciate his no nonsense method, a quality that is highly underrated in physicians today. I came to him with an infected/ingrown toenail that needed minor surgical repair and removal, and he is the only podiatrist I can honestly say was successful in completely numbing me up prior to procedure, it was completely pain free. He had me in his office and done with the entire procedure in less than a half hour, and his aftercare and followup are thorough and easy to understand. A complete and total axx. I got an appointment with this doctor to discuss having custom orthotics made for flat feet, which I've suffered with throughout my life. He opens the door and begins immediately complaining that my appointment was cutting into his golf playing time. I'm not kidding, that's no joke, he did that. I should have gotten up and walked out and spent my money elsewhere but having taken time off work, I had to continue. He complained the entire time I was there. Dr.Ron was great my initial visit he took X-Rays and explained exactly what my condition was. He gave me very strict and concise directions on what to do everything he explained worked in my benefit. You could feel the human spirit. This Dr. treat you as a patient not as a customer. I took my daughter to his clinic in North Austin on Saturday morning. We suspected a toothpick splinter in her foot. He observed, asked questions and checked as a professional. He kept it simple. I don't need to cause her pain that is not necessary he said. He explained to us inidetails, directed us to some over the counter inflammation medicine and added some other direction. He was very knowledgeable and gentle. Dr. Wokasien is a personable and professional individual who I had the honor of being taken care of by. I called for the first time and he saw me that same day! Even though he had other appointments. I sprained my foot two days prior and being new to Texas I had no knowledge of a good podiatrist, but now I do. If you want good care, treatment and fast healing choose Dr. Wokasien a Doctor that you can call by his first name. And he will treat you the same. Thank you for your kindness Ronald!

Loved my new doctor painless procedure he explained everything beforehand

Dr. Wokasien is amazing and was willing to stay late to see my son on Saturday otherwise it would have been a long wait until Monday. I highly recommend Dr. Wokasien he is gentle and extremely informative.

Dr Wok was super knowledgeable kind and looked at an overall solution other than jumping to pain killers or surgery highly recommended

I have an ongoing issue with hallux limitus which basically causes a lot of calcium and other deposits to build up on the joint for my big toe, which makes it feel broken most of the time. I have had several pleasant experiences with Dr Wok with several treatment appointments over the past several months and am scheduled for surgery this week which should mostly correct the issue which I've been dealing with for 10 years or so. At first, I was a little surprised that he is his own receptionist but he seems to be an extremely practical thinking person and also spreads the costs savings to his patients. He is very thorough in explaining everything and makes sure you understand it well also, which I certainly appreciated. Other things I can say that were positive were: easy in scheduling both with contact and availability, lack of wait upon arriving and not having to go wait in a secondary room to wait at all, and also the potential cost savings as well. I was referred to him as my previous podiatrist moved to CA but gave me his info and have been very happy with my results thus far.
