Broke Fibula, Tibia, Ankle, Tendon 300 miles from home. After receiving a temporary cast at E.R., was driven home. Stopped in without appointment and they scheduled a spevial emergency consultation with Dr.Meisel that afternoon. He did a thorough exam of my leg, explained everything clearly, answered all my questions no matter how apparently frustrating, and was very patient and accommodating regarding my almost deafness. He sceduled the surgery for the very next day. Before surgery he stopped in to talkal and answer any more questions I might've had. He stopped by afterwards and explained everything necessary to do before our follow-up appointment a week later. The surgery realigned my ankle with amaxing precision. The tibia and fibula fit PERFECTLY over the talus cartilage again. The upper fibula and the front tendon were cast extremely well. I have such minimal pain that I didn't need to take ANY of the pain medication. Even after the first two days post surgery! Even though I had significant tendon and ankle damage! I am looking forward to the follow-up appointment and how my healing progresses during the next 8 weeks. A year-ago, Dr. Meisel performed a full knee replacement for someone I know. She was very happy with the results and still is. She says he's awesome too.

Best Doctors and personnel! They do things right !

Wonderful Dr. Great bedside manner. Really cares about his patients. The staff is also outstanding. They go out of their way to help you.

Absolutely love this guy and all of his wonderful staff! His laid back nature helps to put everyone at ease. He explains in-depth, but takes the time to make sure you understand as well. I have sent my mom, as well as my best friend to him after he took care of me for my broken arm! He's fantastic!

Dr. Meisel is a fantastic physician. I work as a director at HealthQuest physical therapy in Clinton Township and have an opportunity to work with his patients on a daily basis. His surgery outcomes are amazing and his patients are VERY pleased with the quality of life they have post surgery. His patients are always pleased with his knowledge and quality of work he does. I love Dr. Meisel ! He did my hip replacement in Oct.2020. My recovery went great !! Also had shoulder surgery in 2012 that went great too ! He is a honest Doctor. Tells you like it is ! Thank you ! Joan M.

Im writing for my sister Ulana , saying that he's the worst doctor known to man !He kept telling her to have patience for a year and a half after her surgery which she complained to him, something was not right with her knee ! It turns out after her MRI her knee is loose !!!!!!!!

Dr. Meisel recently did my hip surgery and I have been very happy with the whole process. My first appointment with him went very well and I immediately felt comfortable and confident to having him as my surgeon. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. My hospital experience was also good and after my post surgery appointment with Dr. Meisel, I felt very good about my recovery and after care. The staff is also very nice and helpful with any questions you may have and respond quickly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Meisel and would go to him again if I ever needed to!! I work at a medical referring office, and had the worst experience with the staff. I called to get notes for a patient and whoever answered the phone was beyond rude, I am surprised she works there. She said I needed to call the patient and ask for the information, then I said okay I will contact the patient. Her reply was exactly " Sure, okay" then hung up on me... He did surgery on my knee. I'm very happy with the results.

Went into see Dr, Meisel for a partially torn rotator cuff, a torn labrum and bones spurs. The pain was waking me up 4-5 times a night. I couldn’t be happier with the results after surgery. Thank you!

Was under another doctors care for two years and was diagnosed and treated for a sciatic nerve problem. epidurals, pain management 300 x-rays and no solution. Dr Meisel, 5 minutes, 2 X-rays hip replaced perfectly and feel brand new after 2 weeks, Thank-you so much. Go see this guy.
